"Excellent stay in Dengfeng, best price to value ratio. The room was clvery cosy, and the location is pretty good being close to Zhongyue temple and a short taxi ride away to trails into Mt. Song. One small remark was that the room had smokey air, likely from the previous guest(s). Hence I had to air it out but the air quality still didn't fully get optimal. Other than that; a perfect stay!"

"This is a wonderful place to stay. The owner and his wife are incredibly friendly, warm, and accommodating. It’s just a few minutes from the Shaolin Temple, and the owner even offered transportation to and from the site. The food is delicious, I tried the egg fried rice, Sichuan Mala chicken, and Mala tofu (beancurd). the portions are generous and easily enough for 2–3 people. The rooftop offers stunning views of the mountains, and the owner is happy to serve tea if you’d like. There are also clothes-drying areas on the 2nd and 5th floors. While language differences limit conversation, the couple’s kindness and hospitality truly shine through. I would absolutely stay here again if I return. Heads-up: I wanted to go to Luoyang, and the owner kindly took me to a nearby spot where the bus stops. She even spoke to the driver to help me get on the right bus. After a while, the driver informed me through a note that he was heading to Gongyi instead. He asked me to get down and pointed towards another bus. I then took the bus, confirming with the driver that it was going to Luoyang before boarding. However, the same thing happened again; the driver stopped halfway and asked me to take a taxi. It seemed like the taxi driver might have been the bus driver’s acquaintance as he boarded the bus right after bus stops. The taxi driver initially quoted me 150 yuan to take me to my hotel in Luoyang. I wanted to use Didi, but the app couldn’t recognise the hotel’s name. Since the hotel was only a few meters from the Longmen Grottoes, I knew the fare should be around 65 yuan. I showed him the price on the app and he eventually agreed on 100 yuan. My advice: if you’re unsure of the bus route, go directly to the bus station. They will help you find the correct bus to your destination and let you know if any transfers are needed. This experience ended up being quite inconvenient, costing me both time and money. What should have been a 30-yuan trip from Dengfeng to Luoyang ended up costing me three times more. The owner had nothing to do with this, it’s just a heads-up for anyone planning to take the bus."

"房間乾淨整潔，酒店位置超便利，步行幾分鐘就到客運總站，周邊吃喝玩樂一應俱全，前台提供有本地美食介紹，旅遊景點冊子，很暖心的舉動。"

"節假日想來嵩山的，極力推薦住在這邊附近。節假日這邊門口是會封道的，需要停到統一的停車場，再花30一個人坐大巴到門口。住在這邊可以開進來，就停在賓館門口。賓館就是普通農家，房間也不大的，設施也比較簡陋的，沒有早餐，但是就好在離景區近。一早就進景區，人不多，上山人也少。因為索道要將近八點開，其實是可以電瓶車先到少林寺門口，少林寺還沒有開門，但是可以乘人少拍照，然後往前大概也就幾百米到塔林，也沒有人，再去做索道上山。步行道是往裡麪走其實不遠，電瓶車是有點往外面繞的。有時間可以兩個索道都坐，都去看看。"

"We are a family on holiday in China & chose the 4 bed futon room which was excellent. The hotel staff were really friendly and helpful. They recommended food & arranged a taxi for us to the Shaolin Temple. I would definitely recommend this home stay."

"傍晚到達嵩山，想在酒店休息小時夜爬嵩山，老闆深夜出來接我並且還會將你送到山腳下！！！早晨爬完後又將我接回酒店，真的超級無敵棒！！老闆娘進酒店説一句“把這裏當家一樣”直接淚目 還有個小tips就是，記得去之前説明開下熱水器哦～不然可能不能及時洗個暖暖的熱水澡哈哈哈"

"We stayed one night at this homestay with this lovely family. They helped us get tickets to the Shaolin Zen Music Ritual and provided transport to get us there and picked us up. They also provided us with warm clothes as it got quite cold at night. The dinner and breakfast were simple but delicious and they gave us huge portions. If you are looking for a genuine homestay with a local rural family, you will like it here."

"Das Personal war sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich, das Zimmer war groß und es fehlte an nichts, aber die Einrichtung ist sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Auch der Innenhof wäre eigentlich wunderschön, aber es liegt sehr viel Müll herum. Sehr schade, aber vielleicht steckt man dort einfach wieder etwas Liebe rein. Leider gibt es aktuell eine Grossbaustelle direkt nebenan, die bis nach Mitternacht gebaggert hat. Das Hotelpersonal ist freundlicherweise mit dem Baustellenleiter in Kontakt getreten und somit gingen die Bauarbeiten nur noch bis abends. Der Eingang zur Songyang Academy, und den Wanderwegen rund um Mount Taishi liegt direkt auf der anderen Straßenseite und auch das Shaolin Kloster ist mit einer kurzen Didi-Fahrt zu erreichen."
