Je recommande. C’est une maison de famille qui a été transformée en hôtel à taille humaine et décorée par un designer local avec soin et beaucoup de jolis détails. L’hôtel est tout neuf (décembre 2025) et très propre. C’est une entreprise familiale et le personnel est très aimable et accueillant notamment le jeune employé M Li. J’ai eu le droit au thé et aux fruits et à beaucoup d’attention. La communication est très fluide grâce à leur application de traduction. Il y a des chambres au rez de chaussée ce qui est pratique si on a de lourd bagages (pour les occidentaux petit rappel : le rez de chaussée correspond en Chine au 1er étage). Au rez de chaussée : un grand espace de repos avec grand écran et au 2ème étage, il y a une agréable terrasse avec vue sur la porte de Chaoyang et un second salon de thé (il y en a un autre à côté de la réception). La chambre est très belle et il y a tous les équipements nécessaires et modernes. Le matelas est très confortable. Il est situé non loin à pied de tous les lieux touristiques par des petites rues : la vieille ville, le petit train, le jardin de la famille Zhu et le lac… Le rapport qualité prix est incroyable. Il est accessible en voiture.

Yizhai Medieval Stay (1) room had a bad musty smell (2) couldn't get the hansgrohe shower to work, as it was very late, instead of waking the owner, I took a bath, the water from the bath was barely lukewarm. (3) there was no floor towel provided, after the floor got wet it became very slippery, I slipped at least 3 times. (4) the toilet seat was cracked and the toilet seat hinge was not maintained, no matter how careful I was the seat would slip to one side and cause me to jolt my back. (5) the toilet flush handle was not working properly, have to manually push the handle back into its original position after each flush. (6) the projector screen was too large and I kept on banging into it (7) have to close windows for quiet, if leave them open everytime a car goes past sounds like someone is knocking on your door The staff were polite but unhelpful about the toilet issue, they said they would notify the boss but couldn't fix the problems. They didn't offer a room change. The above problems spoiled my stay experience. Apart from the above problems, I loved the decor, espec the panda cushion and the faux fireplace. The bathrobe was nice. There is room for improvement.

I had the most beautiful stay in Jianshui. The hotel was clean, bright and very comfortable. The hospitality was fantastic, which as a solo traveller I was very grateful for. I was given tea and fruit on arrival and the laoban introduced me to all the key spots in Jianshui and sent me recommendations of food spots too. I was given a delicious breakfast with some of the best congee I've had in China! I really felt at home. The location is fantastic, right in the old town on a beautiful side street with a peaceful quaint atmosphere. The hotel also organised a taxi to take me onto my next destination - thank you both for a wonderful stay. I cannot recommend this hotel enough!

We had a truly enjoyable stay at this lovely homestay in Jianshui. The hosts were warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed. The accommodation was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully arranged, giving us a comfortable place to relax after exploring the town. The location was perfect—peaceful, yet just a short walk or ride to Jianshui's historic old town, the Confucius Temple, and the beautiful Zhu Family Garden. The architecture and local atmosphere were charming, and we felt like we got a real taste of traditional Yunnan culture. Our hosts also provided great suggestions for local food and sights, which made our trip even more memorable. This homestay was the perfect base for discovering the beauty and history of Jianshui. Highly recommended—we would happily stay here again!

房間位置便利，步行幾分鐘就到古城火車站，緊鄰商圈，購物也方便。房間不算大，設施簡單而齊全，廁所洗澡水很大，熱水澡很舒服，沒有做乾濕分離，洗澡🚿後就會把廁所打濕，甚至會影響房間，反映後老闆立刻來處理，服裝態度很好。在同一位置，該民宿的價格比其他民宿要便宜，注重經濟實惠的，可以推薦選擇這家。

Super cozy yard very nice person quiet and large room, close to main street and very convenient to everywhere. Thanks for suggestions and helps from the elegant hostel lady, like went back home and saw your grandma and family. Jianshui is also worth to go back many times, time stopped there and addicted to various rice noodles.

For their competitive pricing, we can overlook the small imperfections. Overall clean and comfortable. Location is great, right inside the ancient city and good restaurants just downstairs

I had a lovely one night stay here, but I wish I had more days. The location is within the ancient city but in a quiet street so you can easily access the sights without being in the crowd. The owner is the architect of the place, and you can see the thoughtfulness and taste everywhere. The decor is beautiful but not overly done, and details are delicate. I had the room with a slide and it was a creative addition. The towels are super soft and all the hardwares are high quality. At night the owner invited me to drink tea with him and another couple who was also traveling. We talked about our travel stories and beliefs - it was a wonderful time and left great memories in Jianshui!

被建水的暖陽曬的不想走，每天的續房 陸續住了有十天，早上踩着鐵軌去古城走街串巷曬太陽，傍晚在夕陽的餘暉下再次踩着鐵軌回來，一種宿命感，就知道在鐵軌的那一頭 有一個可以讓你回去的地方。 建水很慢，慢的無事可做，建水又很快，陽光曬在身上，一天嗖的一下又過去了。經營青旅的是一對很酷的情侶，大家志趣相投，12月的客人很少，但這樣也就聊的更多，從另一個環境過來也解了我心中乏悶。偶爾也會有新鮮的客人過來，比如傍晚一個從英國騎車而來的不速之客，感覺又找回了十幾年前住yha青旅的感覺，09年的冬天在蘇州小雅那短住的半個月。 青年旅舍遠不是“廉價住宿”的範圍，而是“在路上”精神的座標，三個月之前我在巴薩羅那一家青旅牆上看到一句話，“不要追隨道路指引的方向 而是去沒有道路的地方 並留下一串座標”。是的，青年旅舍應該是一個你冒險在路上如烏託邦的容器，它樸素 安全 分享 包容，它提倡冒險 它鼓勵信任，它讓你可以用最小的經濟付出，讓看世界的夢想得以可能。
