We stayed in the traditional private room which was large and comfortable. The onsen was lovely and very clean. The kitchen is open for guests to use and well equipped. The hotel is located in quite a secluded area with limited amenities/dining options. There’s a 7-11 and Lawson if you really can’t find a restaurant that’s opened. There’s also a lot of stairs which might be challenging if you have heavy luggages.

☀️ When i first arrived, i thought i was at the wrong place - i‘ve never booked something so nice for myself before! 🪲PROS - chill 4 people bedrooms, with a comfy bed and a big personal shelf + locker and a fridge for the room - clean facilities and rooms - towel, toothpaste/toothpaste and yukata were provided as well as shampoo and showergel - the common room was so cozy and nice, with tea and water always at the ready and a great view of the garden - i was satisfied with both the dinner and breakfast and the price was fairly cheap (~1200¥ or a bit more, depending on your choices) - PRIVATE ONSEN that you can book for around 50minutes at night and can use in the morning if nobody else is already using it (costs around 150¥ per use) - there is a shuttle bus going at pretty regular times in the morning. They offer a ride to both Gora-Station or Hakone-Open-Air-Museum! 🩸CONS - far from the city-centre/train station 🌱 i really enjoyed my stay. I had cool roomies that became travel companions and absolutely loved the inn, the onsen, the food and the kind staff! Definitely a recommendation if you ever decide to stay in Hakone - i would book again!

A very pleasant visit to kind, simple and peaceful people. I like a lot the location of the homestay, out of the center, up hill, need to move your ass to reach it. The hottest onsen I’ve been haha but also the most comfy as it’s private. I miss Rum already, what a nice dog, same as all the staff. A really worthy stop in Hakone with local people who feel real in an area full of tourism. Thanks a lot for taking care of my bags after my check in, those gestures are the ones that really count!

Cómodo hostel a poca distancia de la Estación de Gora. Cálido ambiente. Con muchas áreas comunes para distintos gustos y necesidades. El hostel en general estaba limpio. Pero la habitación tenía mal olor. Si bien, el hostel estaba bien para la categoría de lo que es, resultó caro; es decir, no tiene buena relación calidad precio para la zona (por el mismo o menos valor, se consigue mejor nivel de alojamiento, con onsen (hot springs) y spa en ellos

Japonya'ya ilk bağımsız seyahatimdi ve Japon tarzı bir konaklama deneyimi yaşamak istiyordum. İnternette çok fazla araştırma yaptım ama dışarıda bitkileri olan Japon tarzı odalar genellikle binlerce RMB'ye mal oluyor ve rezervasyonlar aylar öncesinden yapılmalı. Bunu bulmak beni gerçekten gülümsetti. Beklentilerimi karşıladı: Dışarıda orman, çocuklar için kaplıca ve daha birçok şey olan Japon tarzı bir oda. Tek sorun, Japon odalarındaki ses yalıtımının biraz yetersiz olması. Yan odadaki beyaz bir çocuğun ağladığını net bir şekilde duydum ama bu sadece kısa sürdü; bunun dışında çok sessizdi. Dışarıdayken herkes nazik ve arkadaş canlısıydı. Geçen hafta oraya gittim ve hava akşam 6 civarında karardı ve giriş işlemleri 15:00'te başladı. Bu yüzden gün aydınlandığında yakındaki marketleri ziyaret etmek için zamanımı planladım. Ayrıca lezzetli ve uygun fiyatlı yemekler sunan yerel restoranlar da var. Sizinle paylaşmak için birçok fotoğraf çektim, umarım faydalı olur. Odama kahvaltı dahil değildi, ancak içeride yemek sipariş edebileceğiniz bir restoran var. Burası kaplıca kasabası, bu yüzden önce keşfetmek için oraya gittik, sonra otobüse bindik. Sadece birkaç dakikalık kısa bir yürüyüştü.

A nice cozy home right near the main train station. Easy access to transportation and right in the heart of the town. The house had many beds to choose from and good separation of rooms. A stocked kitchen and laundry machine was a bonus. The only slight bother was that the space in front of the toilet was very narrow and it was slightly uncomfortable to be on the toilet. Also there are cockroaches that come in at night, but this is fairly normal in Japan. The walk up to the house consists of many stairs and is not suitable for persons with handicaps/mobility issues.

Nestled in a peaceful corner of Mt. Hakone, yet conveniently connected by bus, only a 5-10 mins walk. This charming little hotel offered an unforgettable immersion into Japanese culture, complete with tatami-matted floor, soft futon bedding and soothing onsen. With it's effortless check in and out, it's perfect for travelers seeking tranquility and authenticity without sacrificing to much convenience. Pros: If you plan to visit the Hakone pirate ship and the Hakone ropeway at Togendai, it will give you an early start because it's only 11 minutes by bus. Con: To get to the hotel you will need to go up a little hill, not too hard, but if you have a lot of luggage it could be a bit of a challenge (But it's an easy walk back to the bus stop) Be mindful of the bus time getting to the hotel as the bus tends to end around 5:00 p.m. Also, there aren't any places to eat near the hotel, so you may need to take food with you, order breakfast with the hotel or buy some snacks and instant noodles from the hotel shop.

Nos encantó este hotel, es mucho más mono en la realidad que en las fotos. Todo muy limpio y cuidado. Tienen baños de uso privado, dos interiores y dos exteriores. Muy limpios y con todo lo necesario (gel, champú, acondicionador, secador de pelo, etc.). No tuvimos ningún problema para usarlos ya que siempre había uno libre. Se escuchaba un poco el ruido de las otras habitaciones pero los huéspedes son respetuosos. El personal muy servicial también. Puedes coger prestado zapatillas, yukatas (estos también para ir al baño exterior), paraguas, y tomar agua fría o caliente y té. La habitación tenía mesa, un balconcito con nevera, otra mesa junto a la ventana y lavabo. No pasamos nada de frío ya que había muchísimas mantas y una bomba de aire. También televisor y deshumificador, aunque no los usamos. Algunos comentarios dicen que la ubicación no es muy buena o que no hay restaurantes alrededor. Para nosotros la ubicación era correcta ya que está bien conectado a 2 minutos de las paradas de buses y tren. Había un restaurante justo enfrente pequeñito pero muy rico y bien de precio que abre hasta las 10 pm. Teniendo en cuenta que era de las opciones más baratas en Hakone para las fechas y con la posibilidad de disfrutar de onsen de forma privada, nos pareció que estaba muy muy bien.
