"I recently stayed at Capsule Hotel Cube Hiroshima for a few nights—this was my second visit. Overall, it’s a great place, but a few small issues have started to surface. Positives: The staff are wonderful—friendly and attentive. You receive fresh towels, pajamas, and cleaning amenities daily. Good location, making it convenient for exploring Hiroshima. Areas for Improvement: Limited showers: Only three per floor, shared by many guests. At peak times, you might wait over an hour, and by then, the showers can be a bit dirty (e.g., hair left behind). Laundry bottleneck: Each floor has just one washer and dryer. The dryer is especially slow—it took four 30-minute cycles just to dry six t-shirts. Vending machines lack variety: No cola or Pepsi—just beer and water. Not a major issue, but worth noting. Fridge access is inconvenient: The communal fridge is behind reception, meaning you must hand over items to staff. A small fridge on each floor would be much more practical. Worn-out mattresses: The memory foam mattresses have sunk in from overuse. They haven’t been flipped or replaced, which leads to uncomfortable sleep and back/hip pain. Final Thoughts: Despite these downsides, I would stay here again. However, guests should be prepared for some minor inconveniences. If the hotel made a few simple upgrades—like replacing mattresses, improving laundry facilities, and adding accessible fridges—it could easily be one of the best capsule hotels in Hiroshima."

"Perfect place to stay for some solo travelling around Hiroshima. First time staying in a hostel, but it was super clean, awesome bathroom and shower facilities, and dyson hair dryers and styling tools were a great touch. Comfortable bunk bed, and would highly recommend renting the bike to go to and explore the peace museum and park. A little outside the main parts of the city (~30 min walk), but it is very close to the shinkansen station so perfect for easy access."

"The hotel is a little outdated, and there are a lot of people sharing each shower and toilet. Perhaps I went at a quiet time of year, but I didn't find this to be an issue, the toilet and shower were always free when I wanted them. The location is also convenient."

"This is a great hostel. The staff are super friendly and helpful. They speak good English and there are many other solo travelers that come here. I met some great people. There's a kitchen too that's well equipped. The bedrooms are also very spacious and comfy. My only downside is being woken up at 10am everyday as the staff come in to clean the rooms from guests that have checked out."

"This is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed in. I love the location as it is in a quiet neighbourhood in a low rise building which feels very cozy. It’s a 10 min walk to the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park. The hotel staff were wonderful and graciously provided me an upgrade to their best room for my overnight stay. This room was incredibly spacious and the bathroom was huge as well. The shower is in a separated room to the bathroom and has both an area to do stand up shower or use the bathtub/jacuzzi. I do wish they provided free bottled water but that’s my only complaint and it doesn’t matter much. I did have the free coffee in the morning which helped perk me up. Anyways I love this place and it was such good value. I will definitely book this hotel again if I come to Hiroshima in the future."

"Super convenient and just across from the jr hiroshima line. With luggage, about 5 mins - mainly cos the traffic lights are slow. Overall good value. However, it is pretty worn out and even on non smoking floors you can tell some guests still smoked there. The rooms smelled a bit musty. The front desk was nice and helpful and the check out is easy, just toss keys into the box at reception."

"仕事の関係での最寄駅が横川だったので利用しました。 駅からも程よい近さです。真夏だと少しキツく感じるかもしれません。 ホテルというか本当にワンルームマンションです。 連泊だったので下着等を手洗いし着回しましたが、お風呂には浴室乾燥もついており助かりました。お風呂も家庭のものと同じで洗い場と湯船が別であります。 バスタオル1枚、普通サイズのタオル1枚が置かれてありました。バスタオルを枕として利用したかったので1泊目は長方形の普通のタオルのみしか使えずでしたが、なんとかなりました。次の日フロントの方にバスタオルはいらないので普通のタオルを2枚欲しいと伝えたところ、断られました。なので、バスタオルより普通のサイズ派の方は持ち込みされた方がいいかもしれません。 近くにセブンイレブンがありますが、08:30頃利用しましたが、おにぎり系がほとんどありませんでした。 総合的にはよかったです。"
