"We have been staying in this hotel whenever we are in Ipoh. Many eateries around and morning market opposite the hotel. Convenient stores and pharmacies just round the corner. Clean and simple, value for money and friendly staff."

"First stay at this new hotel in Ipoh and we are pleasantly surprised by the comfort. Location is walking distance to downtown for lots of great food and souvenir shopping. The bed in the room is great for a goodnight sleep. For hotel of this class we didn’t expect much amenities but surprised that most things are provided for comfort of guest. Even bathrobe! The areas for improvement are: 1. Water leakage from the shower made the toilet floor constantly wet. Design default that I hope can be rectified. 2. Checkout reception was so strict with sop. Late check out. No. Umbrella. No. Everything is a no, don’t think they are properly trained in hospitality management. Management order over guest satisfaction is how they operate. No help with luggage with the guard standing to look on. Not very nice welcome. 3. Housekeeping didn’t clean the room. Had to call at 4pm for cleaning to be done. Reception accused us for putting on the no disturb sign. No apology just mere mention that they will contact housekeeping when we insisted that we switched “please clean room” sign since morning. We met the cleaner who was much nicer than the reception staff. For a no frill stay, this hotel is nice and quiet but some may not like the fact that it’s beside funeral parlour."

"Nice place for a short stay at ipoh! The room was comfortable with aircond and a water heater, which made it convenient. Location is great too ,just a short walk to Mydin, terminal bus amanjaya and lots of food options around. Really handy for a quick trip."

"Everything was good but except one thing. My suggetion is please maintain your toilets and bathroom. I took a tripplee delux room but bidet shower ( toilet hand shower/ sprayer) was missing which is really a essential things. Im okay with rooms but that was a real disappointing thing. Please maintain your bathroom and toilets."

"There is a McDonald's just next door opens fm 8am to 2am. Convenience for late night supper for those not driving"

"My cases Abit different..when I checked in , the reception said my booking for deluxe twin already finished, she asked me to move to their another hotel , highway times inn hotel, the standard might be lower than the ipoh inn...Bad experience...the pillow looks old..."

"The room was nice and clean. However, the hairdryer had a minor issue... the airflow was quite weak and couldn’t be used continuously for too long. For guests with long hair, this can be inconvenient as it switches to cold air after a while, and then needs to cool down before it can be used again. The hotel provides towels, but no toothbrush or toothpaste. The location is great, right across the street from the famous night food court, Restoran Kam San Tong Mushroom Food Court, and there’s also a 7-Eleven and KK Super Mart nearby."

"Good location to you , i am left at the lobby there. Overall is good, but the room is not well soundproofed. Upstairs using washroom i also can hear it. And the hotel have provide the free parking , have 3 ( first come first serve ) , staff hotel will not help you to book the car parking to you."

"Me and my cousin had a pleasant stay here. The receptionist is very friendly and kind, she recommended us the famous local food (hainan chicken rice) and addressed any of our questions. Though the hotel and room interior is a bit old, but it’s clean & the bathroom is spacious, i think they just renovated it. The hotel is strategic and walking distance to Gerbang Malam."
