"Staying at this hotel was a truly wonderful experience. The location is excellent—just a few minutes’ walk from the main street, food market, shops, bars, restaurants, and one of the many beautiful canals and scenic spots. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the service exceeded all expectations. The staff were incredibly attentive and welcoming, with the concierge available at any time and always ready to help. They even went the extra mile by picking us up at the entrance gate and escorting us back to the taxi after check-out. Overall, everything was handled with great care and professionalism. "The best location in Xi Tang! No doubt about it. Room with picturesque river view and tea at balcony transports you to ancient Ming/Qing dynasty feeling. The person in charge has been very helpful and communicative. Stay here. Dont look further."

"My short two days stay is the end, but feel reluctant to leave—really wish I could stay a little longer, This is the most wonderful Jiangnan water town I have ever visited—Xitan—natural,nostalgic, and peaceful.Everything here from food to accommodation, is incredibly convenient. The “Lao BanNiang” hostess is warm,attractive and thoughtful,making me feel the warmth of home even while traveling. In this fleeting journey of life,meeting kind and hardworking people is a true blessing and a stroke of fate. Xitang is beautiful because of its scenery, and genuine because of its people. "This accommodation is a little gem. it is off the busiest streets of the ancient town by only about 5 minutes walk. The room was clean and cosy, the toilet was modern and clean, and amenities was complete. It completely exceeded my expectations. Thank you to the friendly boss lady as well."

"A bit difficult to locate if you don't use Baidu maps, and can't speak Chinese to ask for directions. But location is great, as it's inside the scenic area (which means you need to pay an additional 95RMB, the gate fee to enter the scenic area if you arrive before 5pm. After 5pm is free and once you're in, you can roam around for free for the entirety of your trip.) Back to the hotel, I initially thought I'd have a view of the river, but was disappointed when I found out my room didn't have that. But still enjoyed the bathtub and the little courtyard. Nice host and cleaners, lots of places to eat and drink close by."
