Otel modern, temiz ve iyi organize edilmiş. Giriş işlemleri çok keyifliydi: resepsiyondaki personel güler yüzlü, kibar ve hatta çocuklar için tablet bile teklif etti, bu da gerçekten takdir ettiğim bir şeydi. Kızım bebek arabasını yukarı taşımak için resepsiyondan yardım istedi ve gece vardiyasındaki personel çok kaba davrandı. Çekçe şikayet etti, sinirlenmiş gibi başını salladı ve sadece son basamakta yardım etti, sonra iyi akşamlar bile demeden gitti. Özellikle rampa olmamasının misafirin suçu olmadığı düşünüldüğünde, çok rahatsız ediciydi. Bu nedenle, oteli bebek arabasıyla seyahat eden misafirlere tavsiye etmem. Erişilebilirlik eksikliği ve gece vardiyası personelinin tavrı, özellikle konaklama fiyatı göz önüne alındığında, deneyimi beklenenden çok daha stresli hale getirdi. On our wonderful 8-days-trip to Czech Republic we (couple, 50 years old, two children at age of 14/16) spent the last four days in Prague. When checking in at the hotel around 9 p.m. we noticed that we have got the wrong room (1 king-size bed and 1 sofa bed instead of (explicitly booked and already paid) room with 1 king-size bed and a separate room with 2 single beds), so we informed the reception desk. The stuff was very friendly and although not being able to offer us the correct room for the first night already, we were able to switch room early next morning and got free breakfast as compensation. The breakfast was very good and rich (bread, bread rolls, toast, scrambled and boiled eggs, classical cold cuts, grilled vegetables and sausages, fruit, yogurt, cake, coffee, hot chocolate, juices, cereals, etc.). Therefore we decided to choose the breakfast option also on our final day before check-out. BTW, the area, where breakfast was served (until 11 a.m.), belongs to ”Fat Cat Burgers & Craft Beer”, which made a nice impression and was well-visited past noon. The rooms and bath were clean and although the rooms and the inventory might need a little refreshment on the one hand, the old windows and carpet fit to the historic center, where the hotel is located on the other hand. The location itself was ideal for starting tours to the old town by foot and enjoying night life. Next tram stop was appr. a 7-minutes-walk away, next metro stop appr. 10 minutes away. The room with the king size bed contained a LED-TV and was orientated to pedestrian street, but although night life just happens a few feet away, the old windows (two windows in a row) filter much of the noise. The other room with the two single beds was very calm and located between the formerly mentioned room and the hallway. Its windows were orientated to hallway and could not be regularly opened, which made airing this room out a little bit difficult. Each apartment contains its own WLAN-router, which had to plug in on our own as noticed on arrival, but then we had perfect signal and fast internet access. A tip for those arriving by car: You cannot reach the hotel by car, because it is located in a pedestrian zone consisting of many pubs and bistros with outdoor seating. Finding a parking slot nearby is not easy, due to most part of the surrounding streets are reserved for residential parking only and you either have to pay the parking slot by app (virtual parking ticket machine only) or choose a slot in more distant streets where you can also buy a ticket at a physical parking ticket machine. Therefore I dropped my wife and children as near as possible to the hotel (2-minutes-walk) and parked our car in one of the suburban P+R-areas - I chose ”P+R Skalka II” with contains a camera system and costs 50 CZK for the first 24hours and then 10 CZK per hour, which is (in June 2025), which is very cheap compared to parking your car in one of the central car parks). Conclusion: A very nice place with friendly stuff and a good breakfast. If you do not mind walking a little bit with your luggage and if you like enjoying city/night life in Prague, this hotel is a very good option. I would always recommend this hotel for those who are a good walkers.

Hotel is a little dated, but rooms have everything you need. We bought the breakfast and it had everything we expected. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Bu hostelde harika bir konaklama geçirdim. Konumu mükemmel; eski şehre ve diğer önemli turistik yerlere çok yakın, bu yüzden her yere kolayca yürüyerek ulaşabilirsiniz. Personel çok cana yakın ve sabırlıydı. Odaya girdiğimde yatağım temizdi, bu da gerçekten hoşuma gitti. Tek olumsuz yanı, odamdaki zeminin biraz gevşek olması ve üzerine her bastığımda gıcırdama sesleri çıkarmasıydı.

Staying at Melantrich Hotel was truly one of the best experiences I’ve had when it comes to accommodation. From the moment I arrived, I could tell that their description online was honest and accurate — something that’s unfortunately rare these days. The hotel is genuinely located in the heart of Prague, and I was pleasantly surprised by how incredibly close it was to all the main attractions. Whether it was the Old Town Square, Charles Bridge, or Wenceslas Square, everything was just a short walk away, which made exploring the city so convenient and enjoyable. Considering the prime location, the price was very reasonable, and I felt that the value for money was exceptional. The service provided easily exceeded my expectations. The staff were a true highlight of my stay. They were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always smiling, which created a warm and pleasant atmosphere from the start. They even offered to keep my luggage safely before check-in, which made things so much easier and stress-free for me. Breakfast was absolutely lovely — exactly what I needed to start the day. It wasn’t an overwhelming buffet with unnecessary waste, but rather a well-curated selection that catered to both those who enjoy a light meal and those who prefer something heavier. The variety of drinks available was a nice touch as well. I can confidently say that I highly recommend Melantrich Hotel to anyone visiting Prague. It’s the perfect combination of excellent location, kind service, fair pricing, and cozy comfort. I would definitely stay here again!

Otelde kalışım resepsiyondaki hiç hoş karşılanmayan bayanla başladı. Ödemem gereken şehir vergisi vardı ve Union Pay kartım orada çalışmadığı için elimde sadece nakit vardı. Banknot 2000 CZK olduğu için bozuk para aramamı söyledi, ben de ATM'den aldığım para olduğunu söyledim, sonra bana dışarı çıkıp mini markete gitmemi, para üstü almamı söyledi. Bunu yapmayı reddettim çünkü dışarısı yağmurluydu ve 8 saat boyunca yolda yorulmuştum ve sonra sorunu çözmeye çalışmadan beni görmezden gelmeye başladı. Annem ona daha sonra şehirde paranın üstünü aldığımızda ve bana oda anahtarını verdikten sonra ödemeyi teklif etti. Korkunç hizmet! Diğeri ise diş macunu, diş fırçası, şampuan (sadece hepsi bir arada sabun), terlik gibi banyo malzemelerinin olmaması ve bunların hepsinin kendinize ait olması gerekiyor. Su sağlanmıyor ve su ısıtıcısı yok ancak resepsiyondan su ısıtıcısı ödünç alabilirsiniz. Resepsiyonda ücretsiz kahve ve çay mevcuttur. Yeterli priz yok, buzdolabını, lambayı, su ısıtıcısını veya telefon şarj cihazını kullanmak istediğinizi seçmeniz gerekiyor, bu da konaklamanızı oldukça zorlaştırıyor. Ayrıca köşe odadan başladığımı ve havanın çok karanlık olduğunu söylemek isterim. Kahvaltı fena değil ve resepsiyonda 10€ veya 250CZK karşılığında değiştirilebilir. Konumu harika olsa da.

Отель несколько лет назад был реконструирован, стало лучше, но есть над чем поработать)) как всегда - прекрасные завтраки

Otel, şehir merkezine sadece birkaç kilometre uzaklıkta, çok uygun bir konumda yer almaktadır. Çevredeki ortam zarif ve sessizdir ve ulaşım çok kolaydır. Otelin tasarımı, modern ve geleneksel unsurları bir araya getirerek insanlara zarif ve sıcak bir his verir. Lobi geniş ve aydınlıktır ve dekorasyon mükemmeldir, insanlara asil hissettirir.

Dört kişilik bir yurt odasındaydım ve fazla kişi olmadığı için gürültüden uzak, sakin bir ortam vardı. Lobi alanı oldukça genişti ve içinde birçok aktivite imkanı barındırıyordu: bar, langırt, televizyon bölümü, çalışma alanı ve dinlenme köşeleri mevcuttu. Bina da oldukça yüksekti, yirmi küsur katı vardı.
