"Excellent customer service from all members of staff. Room had all the amenities we needed. Bed very comfortable. Breakfast help yourself to cereals and fruit. The waiting staff took your hot food order at your table. Everything was hot, straight from the kitchen. Extra parking around the back is available if the front car park is full. You are a short walk to the top of the zig zag down to the beach and promenade. Overall a most enjoyable stay at The Grove Hotel. Would we return, yes if we found ourselves back in Bournemouth."

"Hampton hotel is an excellent hotel that does everything that they can to make our stay comfortable. We had the Accessible Room for my Mother In Law, who has limited mobility and sometimes needs a wheelchair. The room was large, spacious and clean. Larger than I usually see in UK hotels. The wet room shower was perfect for her to have a shower without needing to step in-and-out of a traditional shower or bath tub. The breakfast was good enough to fill us up ready for the day ahead. The breakfast waffles were tasty indeed. The staff were friendly, always smiling, and did everything that they could to make sure that our needs were met. Even attempting to resolve our TV issues, where the TV volume could not go higher that low. The TV itself was faulty, but the staff still were willing to help. The location was great for being in the center of the touristic beach areas of Bournemouth, with a short walk (on a hill because Bournemouth is a hilly place) to the sandy beach and pier. Would recommend."

"It our first stay at this Hotel. It’s in desperate need of updating, the bed was really soft, the carpet was worn in places in the bedroom, but on the plus side there was plenty of storage space unlike your travel lodges etc.But It was clean and tidy with tea makers in the room. We didn’t get chance to use any of the facilities because we didn’t have time, the swimming pool looked good and there was a bar, but there didn’t seem to be a lot of selection beer wise, but that seems to be the same in most Hotels."

"Great location, close to town and the beach, if they refurbished the hotel the price wouldn’t be such a bargain. Keep expectations low and just need some ware to sleep you be happy."

"Things in the room not working, like air conditioning conditioning in this extreme heat, wall light, not working, blinds falling down, some staff that are not very helpful. The hotel itself looks nice restaurant and bar."

"We had a three-night stay and overall enjoyed our time at the hotel. The rooms were tidy and well-maintained, although a bit small. There was only a kettle provided for tea, but considering the price, it offered good value for money. The location is excellent — very close to the beach, with a short pathway directly in front of the hotel that takes less than five minutes to reach the shore. It’s also within walking distance to the town and there’s a beautiful park just across the pier, which we really appreciated. Breakfast was good, though it was the same each day. We stayed in a family room that was very clean and tidy, but it lacked space for seating — there was only one chair, which was a little inconvenient for us as a family. Apart from that, we were happy with our stay. The location and cleanliness made it a pleasant experience, and we would consider returning in the future."

"I had a fantastic experience at this hotel. The location is perfect — close to everything I needed, with easy access to public transport and local attractions. The room was spotless, and the entire hotel was very well maintained, which made my stay feel even more comfortable. What really stood out was the staff — everyone I encountered was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful. They went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!"

"This is a two star hotel and once you remember that, you know that it is awesome. Clean comfortable and a nice location. Staff are friendly and helpful and really a credit to the hotel. This is my first choice when I stay in Bournemouth again and I will now look for the Travelodge brand more widely. Thanks. "
