The hotel is located right in front of the Blok M market area, a busy location with many vehicles often parked directly in front. To access the market, you’ll likely need to maneuver your way through tightly packed cars and motorbikes. Cleanliness is fairly acceptable. However, the toilet in the lobby was out of service during my stay. When I asked, the staff directed me to use the toilets at either the Gramedia Bookstore or Kopi Oey restaurant next door — which was quite inconvenient. The restaurant itself is not part of the main hotel building. Guests have to walk to Kopi Oey for breakfast or other meals. While the semi-open design of the restaurant was initially fine, I had an unpleasant experience when two guests were smoking during breakfast. It really affected my dining experience and left a negative impression. I stayed on the second floor, and unfortunately, both the Wi-Fi and cellular connection were poor. This was especially frustrating as I was traveling for work and needed stable internet for online meetings. The elevator is noticeably slower compared to other Fave hotels I’ve stayed in. There were also some minor disappointments: No tissue was provided in the room. My request for an extra bathmat was denied — something I’ve never experienced at other Fave properties. Lastly, my friend accidentally broke a glass, and we were charged IDR 20,000 for it. While I understand the charge, a little more flexibility or understanding would have been appreciated. Overall, I found the location too hectic, the amenities lacking, and the service not quite up to par. Sadly, I don’t see myself booking this hotel again.

We stayed here a night before transit to bandung by Whossh. Distance to Halim station just around 15 min by Gocar. Family room is very suspicious and breakfast was good.

The hotel is nice and beautiful. However there is a room for improvement. The room space a bit small but I guess with that price is okay. The room is not sound proof. I stayed at level 5 which is just 1 level from the rooftoo cafe. They are open that soace for event at night. I stayed there 3 nights and got birthday/wedding event and etc. The sound a bit loud and I can hear them clearly in my room. And not only that, I can hear the sound of furniture being moved, prehaps that sound were during restaurant closing. Cant sleep soundly before 1am. I suggest for this who wanted to stay here, can have level 1-4 and avoid 5 if you want to have a good sleep. The breakfast is ok for me. Simple but nice. The service quite okay but they did not change the bed cover daily tho I stay for 4 days and 3 nights. The location is good, got coffee shop, convenient store and street food nearby. However, if you intend to go shopping at the central jakarta - GI/PI/Thamrin City/Tanah Abang, this is not the best place. The hotel is just near but because of traffic jam, 30-40mins to arrive to that central jakarta. Would suggest to stay near Thamrin City. The street food nearby is nice and cheap. I enjoy the night snacking around. Bakso nearby is damn good. Overall, I enjoyed staying at this hotel.

Cons: · Noise Insulation: Walls are thin; you could hear noise from next door. · Surge Pricing: Note that taxi/ride-hailing prices surge during rain. - Elevator Wait: Only one lift (elevator), may lead to longer waiting times, especially when there was an event on the 7th floor. Summary: The ANA Hotel Jakarta is a solid choice for travelers prioritizing a clean, conveniently located, and service-friendly hotel in central Jakarta. Its walkability to shopping, places of worship, and local services is a major advantage. The main drawback is the lack of soundproofing. It’s ideal for those who don’t mind potential noise in exchange for great value and location.

Excellent service and location, great value for the money. It even has a swimming pool that I didn't have time to use.

The hotel is very clean and the service is very good. The front office was very friendly and full of smiles at check in . The hotel location is very strategic and very close to the shopping complex such as Thamrin City, Grand Indonesia anda Plaza Indonesia. Definitely we will come again.

Dreamtel Jakarta is a decent option if you’re looking for a standard 3-star hotel in the city. The location is okay, not exactly in the busiest part of Jakarta, but still fairly convenient if you need to get around, especially with nearby public transport. In terms of cleanliness, the rooms and facilities are quite standard. Nothing to complain about, but also nothing outstanding. It meets the basic expectations of a budget to mid range hotel. The staff service is generally friendly, which helps make the stay more pleasant. One thing that could definitely be improved is the ironing facility. The hotel only allows guests to borrow the iron for 1 hour, which feels very limiting and inconvenient, especially for those staying longer or traveling for holiday. This was probably the most stressful part of the stay. Aside from that, everything else was fine, the rooms are functional, WIFI works, and the atmosphere is decent for short stays. Overall, I would say Dreamtel Jakarta delivers what you’d expect from a 3-star hotel: practical, simple, and affordable, but don’t expect luxury or extra comfort.

Was a little disappointed at the hotel as I booked the wrong date for my friend but was not allowed to cancel it modify the date, had to pay in cash upon check in and I did not bring much cash as the hotel I booked is for transit purpose only, decent room but non smoking 🚬

Nice room, good breakfast, friendly staff, and a premium location. Overall, it’s good value for money. However, one thing that really needs attention is the inflexibility of the check-in time. It was quite annoying that I had to wait until exactly 2:00 pm to check in. I tried to check in at 1:57 pm, but it was rejected. The check-in queue was very long and moved extremely slowly. The hotel should be a bit more flexible with check-in time, especially considering how slow the system is. It feels strange to have all guests start checking in at the same time when the process is not efficient. Also, the check-out time is 11:30 am instead of the usual 12:00 pm, which is uncommon in Indonesia.
