The hotel provides great basic amenities for me to have a comfortable stay. The location is great, only 2-min walk to the cat statue and then can continue walking along the waterfront. The breakfast buffet spread also decent, i love their fried rice and fresh pineapple and orange juice. The staff also very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Great service!

Room with sea view was absolutely perfect. The panoramic ocean view from our room were breathtaking, green, fresh. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our every need was met. Very calm pool to swim. Private beach access was ideal for relaxing vacation.

Legacy Hotel, booked – Superior Queen Room (16 sqm) Positives 👍 Reception staff were polite and welcoming. Pleasant atmosphere with plants and vintage luggage lift at the entrance. Room color scheme (deep green + white) feels calm and comfortable. Air-conditioning works well and keeps the room cold. Towels and bed linens are of very good quality – soft and comfortable. Electric kettle provided is a reputable brand (KHIND) with glass design. Location is next to the famous Sarawakian restaurant “Lepau”, as well as a Western restaurant (Sharing) and a BBQ spot. Lots of food options nearby. Negatives 👎 Room is extremely small (16 sqm feels very narrow). Wash basin has no counter space – can only fit two glasses for toothbrush & toothpaste; no room for cleanser or other toiletries. The electric kettle had no proper socket nearby – I had to boil water on the small bedside table. For the price and location, the overall value feels a bit low. If you don’t have a car, getting around might be inconvenient. (I rented a car, so it was fine for me.) Overall: I only stayed one night (8pm check-in, 7:30am check-out). It was fine just for sleeping, but if staying longer, the small space and practical inconveniences would be noticeable.

There was an issue with the air conditioner. Other than that, everything was good, but some rooms didn’t have a hair dryer or a fridge. However, I was impressed because the maintenance team asked if I wanted to change rooms and directly contacted the receptionist, who immediately allowed us to do so.

Overall, I had a pleasant stay at Lot 10, Kuching. The staff were friendly, parking was convenient, and the room amenities were well provided. Towels were clean and had no unpleasant smell. The only downside was that the soundproofing could be better, as I could hear traffic and noise from the next room. Also, the shelf under the TV was a bit dusty. Still, a good stay overall.

Nice view, just that they need to put their daily limited water bottles INSIDE the room. Mine was left outside and when I asked, they said log shown they already gave me but I didn't received it. They looked at me like I want to cheat their water bottle 😅

Overall the hotel is okay . Free parking . Breakfast is okay . Have food shop beside hotel . Have small fridge inside the room

⭐ Review: Riverbank Suites Unit 408, Kuching, Sarawak I recently stayed at Riverbank Suites Unit 408 in Kuching, Sarawak, and overall it was a very pleasant experience. The location is one of the major highlights — right in the heart of the city and just steps away from the Kuching Waterfront, local eateries, and popular attractions like Carpenter Street and the Main Bazaar. This made exploring the city on foot very easy and convenient. The unit itself was spacious and comfortable, with two bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a washing machine, and a balcony offering scenic views of the Sarawak River. It is ideal for families, couples, or longer stays. Cleanliness was good, and the basic amenities such as Wi-Fi and air-conditioning were provided. However, the air-conditioning in Room 2 was leaking, so we did not use it throughout our stay. As a result, the room felt slightly warm during sleep. One of the highlights of the unit is the balcony view, especially in the evening, which creates a relaxing atmosphere overlooking the river and city lights. Facilities such as the swimming pool and parking were also appreciated. Overall, Riverbank Suites Unit 408 is a well-located and comfortable accommodation with great views. With minor maintenance improvements, it would be an even better place to stay in Kuching.

We booked this place last minute after denied check in at another place only to be able to stay at the said hotel after few hours. Forced to cancel and never stay in the unit but had an experience dealing with the owner. Although it cant be refunded but lets assume its a good place based on the pictures alone haha
