The long walk around the lake is gorgeous and relaxing. There’s a stellar playground for kiddies, basketball court, and several cantilevered decks over the water with benches for enjoying the view. Sunset and sunrise pictures recommended. It’s a quick 10 minute zip over to Olde Town Arvada for downtown restaurants, bars, and shopping to enjoy, as well as just 20 minutes to Denver, Boulder, Golden, or Red Rocks. Sakana Sushi & Ramen and Sweet Bloom Coffee Roasters are two of our close-by favorites.
