Ground level 1 bedroom has full kitchen, bath and laundry. Cook a variety of dishes in the full kitchen that hosts an electric range and full size refrigerator. It is fully stocked and supplied with everything you should need while away from home. There is drip coffee maker and freshly roasted coffee from our local Shooke Coffee Roasters for the morning. There is a tea kettle, full pots and pans and anything else you may need to whip up a quick dish and the soap for washing up. There are extra blankets and towels. Eco friendly shampoo, conditioner and body wash are available at the dwelling. We use recycled or bamboo paper products and vegan, organic cleaning products and hypo allergenic linens wherever possible.The laundry room has organic detergent and stain remover for several loads of laundry. You will find yourself well cared for in this clean and comfortable in this dwelling.There is a desk and a designated workspace. There are books, puzzles and games for entertainment. Netflix and Hulu are available for streaming on the smart TV. We do not have any cable or TV channels. Temperature is regulated with a forced air furnace and window AC unit. This property has 4 additional apartments in it. All dwellings are completely private and there is a shared back yard, and seasonal game room.There is a Pyreneese/Poodle Mix named Penny that hangs out in the backyard sometimes. Nestled in the heart of Torrey, Utah just 5 minutes from spectacular Capitol Reef National Park, with many restaurants and hiking/biking trails right out the front door, this is the place to stay while exploring the mountains and desert nearby. There is excellent internet and cell coverage perfect for working remotely. You'll love this spacious apartment! It has everything needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchen is fully equipped for preparing your favorite meals with views right from the large windows. There are two spacious bedrooms with queen size beds in each. The bathroom has an illuminated mirror, sink and vanity area and a shower/tub combo. It is fully stocked with everything you might need while away from home. The living room/dining area has two large, comfy recliners and a large couch to relax and watch the flatscreen TV. The private laundry room is fully stocked and supplied with everything you might need.When you arrive, you will go up the front stairs to your private entrance on the east side of the building, Door #4. There is a keyless contactless entry system.  We will supply you with the entry code after booking and before your check-in date. The backdoor opens onto a large deck and an expansive view of Velvet Ridge Mesa and steps leading down to a spacious 3/4 acre, fully fenced backyard. There is ample free parking.I have hosted nightly rentals homes since 2016 and I recently bought this space- May 2021. During this new management transition I will be working out all the hiccups and getting to know the property. It is a work in progress and my aim is to make your travels and your stay as relaxing and convenient as possible. The house has 4 apartments in it. Three of them are connected via sealed entrances that can be opened for large groups. There will be other people sharing the building during your stay, so expect to share walls, parking, porches, and the backyard. I live close by and I am available via messaging/phone all the time and you can contact or message me with any questions or needs. I love meeting new people and hearing about your travels.Other things to noteTHERE IS NO GROCERY STORE IN TORREY. The nearest shopping is in Loa, Utah- 17 miles away. Come prepared with groceries or contact Danielle and arrange to have groceries delivered in advance for a nominal feeWeather: Torrey is located at 6,800 ft above sea level, so we thankfully don’t get the intense heat that other desert towns experience. Summertime temperatures range from the mid 80's to low 90's during the day and mid 50's to mid 60's at night. Winter high temps are mostly in the mid 30’s to lower 50’s with a few days in the 20’s. Escape to this fabulous apartment in picturesque Torrey. This cozy studio features a brilliant living room with love seat, picture window, and large work space. There is a Queen bed, perfect for a pleasant night's sleep and a foldout table and chairs for eating. A small kitchen space has a mini fridge, microwave, toaster oven and coffee with freshly roasted coffee from our neighbors at Shooke. With basic supplies for heating up any dishes. Heating and air conditioning are portable units just for that space. All the amenities you could need for a comfortable night stay. The bathroom has a large tub and shower with skylight, eco friendly soaps, and linens. There is a large free, shared laundry on the property (not in the dwelling).
