The hotel owner is very friendly, beautiful room. Good location but not suitable for travelers with big luggage because small and rough alley, bridges and stairs. The hotel owner’s cats are beautiful. The hotel owner recommended us a very very very good driver from the hotel to train station, he offered us an extremely good services and price, that’s why we paid him 2 times the price he offered.

I really enjoyed my time at Mulan! The location couldn’t be better, it’s literally steps from the scenic area entrance and ticket office. The staff were so kind and made us feel welcome. The room was quiet and comfortable, with no noise during the night. Little touches like the really nice conditioner (seriously, it was great!) made it feel extra special. If you’re visiting Zhouzhuang, I’d totally recommend staying here.

Very new Hotel, location just opposite of shopping mall. It easy to get Taxi to get around, also not too far away from Kunshan South.

I am absolutely in love with this hotel! First of all, the hotel is located inside the scenic spot. One of the staff called me in advance to arrange a time to pick me up at the entrance of the scenic spot. My Chinese is not good so normally it's very awkward for me to speak over the phone in Chinese but she was very patient with me which I appreciate. Not only did she escort me to the hotel but she also carried my luggage for me. The decor inside the hotel has a beautiful, rustic asthetic which matches the feel of the ancient town. I really like table and chairs in my room, overlooking the pond. The pond also has koi fish and turtles! It was a beautiful touch that added to the overrall feel of the hotel. I loved these little details such as theovely traditional Chinese tea set (with a variety of complementary loose tea leaves), and the stylish coffee mugs. Unfortunately I came to Zhouzhuang during a severe typhoon which caused a leak and power cut in my room, so when I alerted the staff, they immediately gave me a new room. They even helped me pack my things so I can change rooms as soon as possible. The new room I went to was equally as beautiful. Not only is the hotel beautiful but it also has great amenities. Both rooms I stayed in had a stone bathtub which were both very deep -you could float it in! If you come here, I would recommend you bring some bubble bath with you like I did for maximum relaxation. I also made good use of the pool. The pool is a little small and a bit too shallow for an adult, but you can still have an enjoyable swim. Lastly, the tea room and cafés are also a nice addition to the hotel. My second room didn't have a table and chairs like the original one I booked, so I went to the tea room to eat my breakfast. It's also a cozy and comfortable room just to relax in if you're feeling lazy. As I have mentioned throughout this review, the service is second to none. Not only did the staff help me get to the hotel, but after I checked out they also carried my luggage and escorted me to the taxi. Throughout my stay I was offered fresh fruit and coffee several times, and as I mentioned earlier, I was immediately helped when I had to change my room. Whenever I struggled to communicate in Mandarin, the staff would try their best to speak English or would be patient with my hesitation or mispronunciation in Mandarin. This is probably the best ever service I have experienced on my travels. In summary, it's a beautiful hotel, in a convenient location with great facilities and helpful and kind staff. Not only will I come back again (and with my family next time) but I will recommend all my friends and colleagues to stay at this hotel if they ever plan to visit Zhouzhuang.

In short, Zhouzhuang Scholars Boutique Hotel is elegant, peaceful, and full of character. Ideal for couples, families, and anyone wanting to truly experience the beauty of Zhouzhuang. Perfect hotel for a 4 day, 3 night stay. Breakfast is available but we had other arrangements so we did not partake but they had a good sized spread of Western-Chinese food. The pool was really nice. Worked well for us because my younger child had a shallow pool to play in and my older child could swim in the bigger pool. Easily accessible to Guangming Metro, Line 11 (15 minute walk or 5 minute Didi ride). Room with a Central Park view was great and it offered black out curtains. Hotel check in was easy and the staff was very accommodating. Good size room with a nice sized bed. Tub and shower available. I would book again when visiting Huaqiao.

The hotel is great , the staff and environment was very friendly and welcoming . The butler (溪地小清) always made sure that we have everything that we needed and that the communication between us was fluently and made the trip go smoothly. The food was good and very delicious the portions is very generous. The places around the hotel is also good and a great experience for foreigners very welcoming and a great place for children. There is tons of activities and food places to see. The only improvement is to maybe add a mini fridge in the rooms to keep the drinks cool. Other than that the place is a great experience and scenery relaxing would recommend foreigners to try it out. I would definitely go back again

KunShan was my hometown. I walked by the hotel so many times in the past, the landmark hotel was the obvious choice when we opted to stay in a hotel this time around. The hotel is centrally located, the #11 subway train passes by the station across the courtyard and takes you directly to Shanghai as well as 金鸡湖 in Suzhou. The hotel was renovated recently. The rooms are clean and comfortable, supported by friendly front desk and other staffers. Our booking included breakfast, we were truly impressed by the qualities of food as well as the selections available. Thanks a lot for hosting and we’ll definitely come back again hopefully soon!
