"Very zen looking hotel very near the entrance to the Big Buddha Scenic Area. We were upgraded to a room at the first level with a huge courtyard. Though nice, we did not have the time to enjoy the extra space. Both the shower and toilet doors are of translucent glass and has no lock. 4 bottles of drinking water and 3in1 coffee are provided in the room. There's a small washing machine in the room but without full dryer function. Hotel compound is nice. Complimentary afternoon tea is actually self service biscuits, nuts and Chinese tea. There is also a free 3gb e-sim which we did not use. Free Hanfu experience is actually a few pieces of traditional clothings hung at the hotel reception where we are free to wear for self photo takings. We did not try as the costumes look like they were there for a long time and we were concerned about it's cleanliness. Breakfast is at another hotel a buggy ride away. We were supposed to be able to walk a short distance to the pier to board the ferry to see the Leshan Big Buddha but unfortunately, that pier was closed due to tide issues. We had to take the scenic bus (buggy) at RMB 15 per pax for a return trip to Wuyou ferry terminal to board the ferry. It was a long walk from the drop off point to the ferry terminal both ways. Would recommend this hotel for the room and hotel compound. However, if proximity to ferry terminal is a consideration, it pays to check that the pier near the hotel is in operation."

"Brilliant hotel. We had our own onsen in the room, they provide jasmine tea to add to the water which is great for your skin. Close to the station and there’s a massive mall within walking distance. We needed help tracking down some lost luggage at the train station. The manager went out of his way to help contact the station and follow up with them later in the day. His English was superb. Fantastic service! Highly recommend staying here."

"Cozy, Convenient, and Exceptional Service! If you're looking for a hotel that gets every detail right, look no further. The room was Cozy & Well-Designed Room and the location is incredibly strategic. Leshan Giant Buddha is not far away, which was our main reason for visiting. But the real bonus was how easy it was to find food and all within walking distance. We had no trouble finding delicious Sichuan classics like Bobo Chicken and local snacks just steps away. The hotel room was clean and the hotel staff provide outstanding service. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Le Shan and will definitely stay here again."

"Super friendly staff and wonderful location! Minutes walk from the food street and the view from my room was stunning! Though the space inside room for dining is very limited, they have a nice common dining area with view to the river. The welcome fruit platter was lovely and the breakfast was hearty. Also enjoyed the free laundry room! Had my clothes washed and dried within hours (the washing machine has built-in in detergent dispenser). Would definitely stay again if I visit Leshan in the future:)"

"the stay was so so good! firstly, before our arrival date, the hotel contacted us on both trip.com & wechat, so our transport to the hotel from emeishan station was smooth. check-in was fuss free as well, and the front office lady xiaoshi was kind, warm, and gave us tips for our trip up emei. we could borrow the hanfu and took pictures in the yard and around the hotel. the facilities were clean, nice, and overall really cosy. breakfast was really good too. and if you prefer to go up the mountain earlier, the hotel will also prepare some light takeaways for you, and thats super thoughtful i’ve read reviews that the location was not as good as those around baoguo; but since we were travelling as a family, this place was peaceful, slightly quieter and very near huangwan visitor centre! To me this was equally as good as hotels that are around baoguo. the trip up emei mountain was quick and fuss free as well, since I got the tickets and boarded the bus from huangwan (about a 5-7 mins walk away from the hotel) which is not much different from baoguo. will definitely stay here again if im visiting this area :))"

"Close to the train station (within 5 minutes walk), clean and comfortable. There is a Lawson at the first level and noodles shops as well. About 5 minute ride to Shi hao shopping area for more food options and shopping. The bathtub is a nice touch as well. There is free laundry and dryer as well. Will stay again!"

"I would give this hotel 6 stars if I could as it represents astounding price versus quality ratio. The price is so reasonable and yet the rooms and public areas are elegantly furnished, with so much attention to detail. The staff members are helpful and congenial and the hotel is well located near the Starry Street Mall, the Jia Xing food street and the large Renmin Park."

"This hotel was amazing. Value for money was exceptional. The room was very large and so well designed with space for everything. The cleanliness was perfect - so clean, the decor is very nice. The shower and bath were great and bed so comfortable. The breakfast was really good for this price range with plenty of variety. The staff were very professional and friendly and helpful and efficient. The decor is much more plush than one would expect for this price. The hotel is new so looks great. It is very conveniently located near one of the eat streets that is much better than the main eatery street. Initially we were trying to find hotels by the river etc but this location is better it is quick to get anywhere by taxi anyway and the riverside hotels and location is not nice with many run down hotels. Don’t stay anywhere else as this hotel is so comfortable and perfect in every way. We would definitely stay here again. It is also great to stay here and do day trips to Emei etc. we really loved this hotel and was so pleasantly surprised with the quality. The only area for improvement would be person at door to be more proactive in assisting with bags etc."

MMisafir KullanıcıWe are travelling from Canada! This is one of the most beautiful hotels I’ve stayed in! It is right in the heart of Leshan Buddha tourist area. The ticket office is just a short walk away. The hotel is finsihed with modern yet rustic touches! The details are so stunning, the beds were comfortable and the whole place was spotless! The breakfast buffet included in the stay was very delicious with a lot of options and an espresso machine. All of the staff was so friendly and helpful! Xiaoting was available on WeChat for the questions we had! There is also a Luckin right outside the doors! I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

MMisafir KullanıcıPure Cloud had amazing room selections. The 2 and 3 bedroom options were exactly as we needed. The service from Derek was simply amazing and I would not hesitate to recommend this place as Derek helped us up to our room and helped to bring our luggages up to the top floor. The team also made a very decent breakfast and pre heated our rooms to the right temperature. View was great and access to the Golden Summit is apparently pretty easy although we did not do it to see the sunrise in the end as we were too tired from the previous day. Only tip for people coming is to make sure the knew the ride up to the hotel by car is very tight and tricky to navigate but our driver made a good job of it. Highly recommended for anyone coming to emei to visit.

The building itself is stunning, with beautiful heritage-style architecture, but what really stood out was the service. From the hotel driver to the reception team and room service, every member of staff was genuinely attentive and welcoming. One highlight was the hot spring pool. I was lucky enough to have it all to myself, and it was absolutely perfect—so relaxing after a tough hike and it left me feeling completely rejuvenated. On top of that, the snack combo was a real bargain and added extra value to my stay. If you’re looking for a place that combines comfort, great service, and authentic charm, I highly recommend this hotel. It’s the perfect choice to unwind and enjoy an amazing stay after exploring Emei Shan.

BBernicetjmXiao Zhou and his colleagues provided us with exceptional service during our one-night stay at the hotel! They were very nice and friendly, attentive to our needs and requests, and chatted with us in an open and welcoming manner whenever we inquired about aspects of the local environment, Mt Emei, etc. We had dinner at the hotel during our stay and ordered the chef's recommendations. The food was AMAZING and so fresh. The fish and chicken dishes that we had came from live fish and chicken that they reared within the hotel compound. If they were a local restaurant back in my country, I would frequent them without a doubt, and would love to bring my friends to try their cuisine. The staff were all so friendly and accommodating, Xiao Zhou even brought us to take a look at the hotel's chicken coop and fish pond. When we had to leave for our hike to Mt Emei's summit, Xiao Zhou and his colleague kindly drove us to the nearest bus station so that it would be easier for us to access Mt Emei's public transportation, a gesture which we appreciated a lot! All in all, their attentiveness to us, good manners, and warm and friendly dispositions all contributed to a memorable stay. Of course, the rooms themselves were spotless and comfortable. Would love to come back here in the future!!

CCelestiaGWe had a great time in this hotel! The surroundings are very peaceful and you can hear the birds. The service was excellent and the breakfast dishes exceptionally good. Miss Wang and the other staff were all very helpful and accommodating.

RRunningmeterNice hotel in a central location for my needs. Check in was quick and without too much fanfare. The APP lists non smoking rooms as available. However, when I got to the hotel they said that they couldn’t guarantee a room had not been smoked in because they do not have non smoking rooms. The front desk was very accommodating of my ‘aversion’ and kindly allowed me to smell a few of the available rooms. When I found one that had been well aired, they checked me in. Other than that small issue the room was very clean and housekeeping was friendly and efficient. I enjoyed my stay.

IIan KoskyProbably the best room I've ever stayed in. Very comfortable and the bed was great - slept really well. The shower was amazing - like standing under a hot waterfall. The breakfast had lots of choices but only Chinese food and I couldn't see any coffee. I enjoyed it though. Location was great for me - easy to get to the center of town and the train station.

FFre3dOmThe location is definitely the main selling point, just about 200 meters from Golden Summit. For anyone planning to catch the sunrise or sunset, this hotel is perfectly located. The room is quite small but clean and comfortable, just nice for two people traveling light. However, do note that the hike (with staircases) to the hotel is about 1.5 km, so it’s best not to bring heavy luggage, as it can be quite challenging to carry it up. The staff are friendly and attentive. They even reminded us not to shower upon arrival because of the high altitude, such thoughtful advice! Breakfast is simple but sufficient, while the dinner (at your own expense) was surprisingly good. The hotel also offers free tea, which was a lovely touch. The lobby has a calm and soothing atmosphere, and I really like its minimalist design. Just a small reminder: there’s no lift in the hotel. Overall, I would still highly recommend this hotel. Sitting uphill with a cup of noodles and hot tea while enjoying the mountain view. that’s life!

KKellyLeechLovely hotel in the midst of lush greenery, mountains and river. Perfect location for some R & R. The breakfast spread was delicious and has quite a bit of variety - balanced selection of continental and local. We went during off peak, so the hotel was quite quiet. The location was good, near to eateries and convenience stores, all within walking distance. It is also walking distance to the Bus Station that goes up and around the mountain area. Very convenient and strategic location. It would have been a perfect getaway if the hot spring was indoors since it is too cold to dip in the pool in the middle of winter. Anyhow, I especially would like to compliment Ms Xiao Luo for her hospitality since she extended our check out time to 3pm to accommodate our train departure time. We really appreciate the consideration. Overall, I’m very satisfied with my stay at this hotel. I would strongly recommend it to everyone who wishes to visit Emeishan to stay at Holiday Inn Express Emei Branch.
