21 Nisan 2024 Şan*** Uluslararası Turizm ve Tatil Köyleri Heitang Oteli, No. 2879 Gongji Yolu, Huinan Kasabası, Pudong Yeni Bölgesi, bu otel özellikle çevrimiçi ortamda iyi tanıtılıyor. Ama gerçekten geldiğimde odanın pek de büyük olmadığını hissettim. Tesisler biraz eski ama yakınlarda yemek yemek nispeten uygun. Ayrıca Disney'den çok uzak değil. Loved this hotel! Just that it’s really NOT walkable WITH LUGGAGE from Zhongshan Park MRT. As a single girl, the “8min walk” from Zhongshan park to hotel was quite scary, and definitely not recommended to be done at night. So I will always take a cab for first trip out and last trip in. Other than convenience, everything else of this hotel is PERFECT!!! I love it🥰 breakfast is amazingg! The room was clean and super cosy. Free washing machine and dryer available at 5th floor too! Will be back!

It is an excellent place to stay, especially if you are going to be in Shanghai for more than one night. The rooms are spacious and well appointed. The staff are really friendly but did not speak any English, so be prepared to use a translation app. This is an apartment hotel, so there is a washer/dryer machine in your room, which, after a week of travelling in a hot climate, is seriously handy. The food district and Shanghai Brewery is only ten minutes away by taxi, so you have a great selection of restaurants and bars to choose from. One of the best places l have stayed in Shanghai and also one of the most economical! Will definitely be staying there again..

Our stay was amazing thanks to the great staff and their helpfulness. They provided a crib for my infant and the facilities were all very clean. Family friendly.

Location? Perfect. But let's talk about the rest... Walking distance to The Bund and People's Square, convenience stores downstairs, a few casual eateries nearby—honestly, you can't beat that. Would I recommend this hotel? Only if location is your absolute priority and you're skipping breakfast. Booked this hotel on the morning of arrival. With limited options for 4 people in one room, this one looked good ”1 Queen bed and 1 Double bed”, breakfast included. Checked in at 6pm, and the front desk said my room type wasn't ready yet, but they could offer me a larger room immediately. Great, I thought. Went upstairs, only to find a Queen bed + a sofa bed. Went back down to request a swap, they handled it quickly. No complaints about that. But the communication could have been much clearer. Telling me the room is bigger is fine, but maybe mention that the ”second bed” is actually a sofa bed? Comfort-wise, a sofa bed is just not the same as a proper double, and it doesn’t fit for two. The Room: Matched the photos but watch out - Cleanliness was fine, basic amenities provided. - The bed was actually comfortable. Slept well. - TV remote was broken – didn't really affect us since we weren't there to watch TV, but worth noting. - Flooring could be a hazard – some uneven, slightly sharp areas that weren't comfortable to walk on barefoot. Housekeeping: The warmest part of our stay A special shout-out to the housekeeping lady on the 5th floor. We only stayed 2 nights and didn't need full cleaning—just wanted fresh towels in the morning. She was genuinely attentive, proactively checking if we had enough bottled water or toilet paper without us having to ask. Her warm, thoughtful attitude stood out in the best way. Breakfast: Good food, but chaos and attitude The breakfast spread itself was decent—quite a variety. But the management of the breakfast area? A mess. You get checked in at the door and then left to find your own table. - Day 1: Walked around for 5 minutes. No table. A cleaning lady helped us find one outside the dining area. - Day 2: Same thing. When I pointed it out to the breakfast receptionist at the entrance. To be fair, she did go inside to look for a table for us. Even she couldn't find one. She walked around, came back empty-handed, and still had that unhappy look on her face. I get that she tried to help, but the attitude? Yeah, that part stayed. Also, some guests' behavior was unexpected, half-eaten bread left at the coffee station, guests packing food into their own containers. Not the hotel's fault, but it added to the chaos. Lobby: Actually quite nice Gotta give credit where it's due—the lobby is lovely. There's a piano, comfortable seating areas, and a mobile library with books. It's a genuinely relaxing space. The Final Straw: Last day. Check-out time. Staff handed us a small gift, hand cream souvenir. Nice, right? Except they insisted we leave a positive review on Trip.com right there, in front of them. Came the comment: ”But we already gave you the gift.” Said in a tone that made it feel less like a gesture and more like a transaction. I declined and said I'd do it later. Her face dropped immediately, then turned to other staffs, started speaking in Mandarin, and the way the others looked at us was uncomfortable. Like we were the difficult ones. Look, I get it. Reviews matter. Hotels need them. But asking for reviews should be done with zero pressure. This felt forced, awkward, and left a sour taste right at the end. And honestly? It made me even more determined to write this review honestly. Because this is what actually happened.

Başlangıçta bir B&B rezervasyonu yapmıştım, ancak B&B ortamını kabul edemediğim için aceleyle Ocean Hotel'de üç kişilik bir odaya geçtim. 1 Mayıs'taki geçici rezervasyonun fiyatı çok pahalı değildi. Otel, Kuzey Bund'da, Raffles City'nin yanında yer almaktadır. Çevresi refah içindedir ancak gürültülü değildir. Bund'un ana bölgesine ulaşmak çok uygundur ve fiyatına göre iyi bir değere sahiptir. Otel eski olmasına rağmen donanım oldukça iyi, hizmet nispeten iyi ve Şan***'ın cazibesine sahip. Oda genel olarak geniş ve konforludur, yataklar da rahattır. Sürgülü kapıda küçük bir sorun olmasına rağmen onarım ve işlemler sorunsuz ve zamanında gerçekleştirildi. Kahvaltı zengin bir çeşite sahip ve genel olarak iyi. A small, cozy hotel in the Jing'an District, on picturesque Julu Road. The hotel itself consists of two mansions built in the late 1920s by the Asian Petroleum Company, as you can read at the information board on the corner of Chang Shu Lu and Julu Roads. The hotel complex is located in a gated community, where the quiet of the park and the chirping of birds are so unusual in the heart of the vast city. The hotel reception is located in the mansion closest to the entrance, where we were warmly greeted and quickly checked in despite our limited English and complete lack of Chinese. We rented two rooms as there were three of us traveling, and my wife and I lived on the second floor in a fairly spacious room with two windows. There are some minor inconveniences, such as the steep steps on the narrow staircase, which might be a bit difficult for older people, but we had no discomfort, and the hotel staff helped us carry our suitcases. The room was equipped with a TV, refrigerator, desk, safe, and a very, very large bathroom with a window. There was both cold and very hot water, which was perfect, and of course, there was a hairdryer. Our bathroom didn't have a bathtub, but that wasn't a problem for us; the hotel offers a wide range of rooms to suit every taste. The rooms were cleaned and the linens and towels were changed regularly, and we didn't notice it at all. It was very quiet at night; we didn't hear anything, although I've read reviews that the hotel has good soundproofing, but we couldn't say that. Generally, staying at this hotel, you have a very strong sense of privacy, as if the entire mansion were yours, but in the morning, at breakfast, seeing your neighbors, you realize that's not the case. It's also a special pleasure to open the windows early in the morning and let in the sun, fresh air, and birdsong. The hotel is remarkable for its undeniable historical value. You immerse yourself in the unhurried silence of a measured existence amidst a small park with its living inhabitants, such as birds and squirrels, where nothing disturbs your peace, either in your room or beyond. You undoubtedly enjoy the history as you admire the magnificent staircases, old mirrors, and Art Nouveau hallways, as well as the manicured lawns and trees in the courtyard, where you can sip your morning coffee and enjoy the peace and sunshine. The hotel offers a small breakfast and excellent coffee. There are very decent restaurants in the neighboring buildings, and several coffee shops are within a three-minute walk, making it very convenient. The metro is a five-minute walk from the hotel, and when I called a taxi through the DIdi app, the drivers always arrived. And all this is surrounded by quiet, cozy historic streets shaded by old plane trees, a pleasant place to stroll at any time. There are many restaurants, including Mediterranean cuisine, bakeries, bars, and wine bars within walking distance. Nanjing Road is about a 10-minute taxi ride away, and the main attractions are easily reached on foot, so it's best to enjoy the surrounding beauty. I really regret not having visited Sun Yat-sen's residence, which is also within walking distance. All in all, if you love the spirit of good old Shanghai and appreciate peace and quiet amidst the vast modern metropolis, you should definitely check out this stunning hotel, which I'll definitely be eager to visit again!
