This is a lovely hotel with kind, welcoming staff. I read some reviews saying the rooms are very old etc, but I don't see how that makes this hotel any less great - the rooms are still clean and well maintained. I arrived in Xi'an after 48 hours of hectic traveling due to a missed train, and the staff at Meihao Hotel were very welcoming, were happy to use translation apps to communicate with me. The room was large, with a view of the neighbourhood outside (mostly just traffic jams haha, but that's Xi'an). The location may not be super ideal for some as it isn't in the city centre, but honestly it was no inconvenience at all, as the nearest subway station is a brisk walk away -- about 5-7 minutes. If you're arriving by train and carrying a lot of heavy luggage, then yes, coming via subway might be a bit of a challenge (but not impossible!) The housekeeping staff especially were very warm and kind. Thank you for always brightening my day when I walked by you all. A few hours after I checked in, a lovely staff member knocked on my door and offered me a small bowl of soup. I was very confused as I hadn't ordered anything, but upon seeing other guests were receiving this too, I gladly accepted. It was such an unexpected, kind gesture -- this hotel truly knows how to make one feel welcome. I fell ill on the second day of my stay, and thankfully the room was so comfortable, I could recuperate well. My only complaint is that the bedsheets, comforter, pillowcases etc -- all the bedding essentially smells of cigarette smoke. I could also smell cigarette smoke from beyond my room's door at night. This was despite there being a clear sign in the room saying smoking was not allowed inside. Though this is certainly not something you can fault hotel staff for (if guests are adamant to smoke inside, what can housekeeping possibly do?), I just thought I would mention this for any other guests who might be very sensitive to the smell, perhaps you could request staff to rewash the bedding until the smoke smell is entirely gone. After checking out, I also noticed there were some freebies that were part of my booking that I unfortunately missed out on :( There was meant to be welcome fruit, afternoon tea for two and a midnight snack, which I would have loved to try. There was no welcome fruit offered, but I did receive some refreshing juice when I arrived to check in -- it was a hot day and I was grateful for the welcome drink. For the other stuff, as I didn't realise it was part of the booking perks, I never asked, and consequently seem to have missed out. I also want to say that aside from the rooms, the lobby area is quite lovely -- very tastefully decorated, peaceful, and I even saw they had some free coffee out for guests! I only noticed this when I was checking out though, and my taxi was already on the way to pick me up, so I could not indulge. Maybe it would be helpful if the reception staff could share all this info with guests when they check in, especially with the foreign guests who are already a bit confused and trying to get their bearings ^-^ Just a suggestion! My family of 9 stayed in Xi’An Bell Tower Manxin Hotel for a week and it is by far the best hotels we hv stayed in our many recent trips to China. Love that it is newly opened just a few months ago and the location is a comfortable walking distance away to the Bell Tower and Hui Min Muslim Street. Lots of nice restaurants, eateries and shops surrounding the hotel and the metro station is also a short walk away. Fell in love with the hotel’s hardworking robot as well as the super clean and lovely laundry facilities which are free for guests to use. Hotel room is big. Breakfast spread is amazing too! It will remain my #1 choice when we revisit Xi’An for sure. Highly recommended!!!

Had a great stay here! There's a back exit that takes you straight into the Big Wild Goose Pagoda scenic area, and the hotel itself is beautiful. The rooms are clean, pretty, and spacious with user-friendly smart guest control systems, comfortable beds, and the has separate areas for toilet, shower, and sink which was pretty convenient. The front desk staff, Xiao Rui and Xiao Dong, were super helpful, quick to respond, and helped us find activities to book and other travel tips. The breakfast was also really good with multiple options and Xi'an specialty foods. Our booking also included afternoon tea and dessert soup every day which they delivered whenever we requested it. The room was a bit warm since they have central heating, but they were very accommodating and offered to move us to a different room.

The location of the hotel is good, near the Datang Everbright City. The soundproof of the room are bad; you can hear the noise from next door and others walking at the corridor. Also, it is a bit inconvenient when the hotel only gives you 1 room card when there are 2 guests in a room.

I recently stayed at this hotel in Xi’an and had a generally positive experience with a few important drawbacks. The room was spacious, very clean, and comfortable, which made the stay pleasant overall. The location is excellent—very close to Zhonglou metro station (Exit C then Exit 4), and the Muslim Quarter is within walking distance, making it very convenient for exploring the city. The reception staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. I especially appreciated the warm hospitality, including the welcoming tea upon arrival. Special thanks to Yuan and Jiang, who genuinely tried their best to assist me in finding a cooler room and even offered cold drinks and fruits. However, the main issue was the room temperature. The air conditioning is centrally controlled and was not turned on due to municipal restrictions, which made the room very warm. Unfortunately, despite the staff’s efforts, sleeping comfortably was quite difficult. The breakfast was mostly Chinese-style with limited variety. Overall, the hotel stands out for its cleanliness, spacious rooms, great location, and excellent staff service. However, the lack of effective air conditioning significantly impacted the comfort of the stay.

The hotel was wonderful—very clean, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. The location was extremely convenient, making it easy to get around and enjoy everything nearby. The food was delicious, with a great variety and excellent quality. We were pleasantly surprised by the welcome gift, which was such a thoughtful and impressive touch and made us feel truly valued as guests. The staff were exceptionally helpful, positive, and polite, always ready to assist with a smile and genuine care. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere. 🌸

The rooms were great. Mattress wasn’t too firm as others, the cleanliness was on point. The breakfast wasn’t really ideal for me. I’d do it without it and just eat nearby since there are plenty of shops all around. I truly enjoyed my room and didn’t want to get out especially with their total blind curtains made the room pitch black.

Honestly, we had a very pleasant stay at Xi'an. As a muslim traveller, staying at Campanile is the best choice we did. So easy to go to muslim street, and the road to hotel are safe even you are going back midnite(but for us, because out trip during winter, 11 o'clock consider midnite). At the centre of Xi'an, easy to get didi, taxi or metro. Usually we just walking around to see the Xi'an daily life. Hotel are very cozy, even though it's not a very big hotel but the environment are safe and peace. The staff also very helpful, especially front desk staff. Very good english, so we can discuss the things we need and asking about centre attraction nearby. If you want a hotel with a grat view, maybe Campanile not the 1st choice, but we think we go travel because we want to explore the place, so Campanile are very good enough to make sure you had a very good bed to sleep. For me, with the price, for sure it's worth every penny. If we visit Xi'an again one fine day, we will stay at Campanile again! Beautiful modern hotel right in the middle of town near the drum tower. Ultra modern room and big in size. Electric bidet and nice shower, superb breakfast and friendly helpful staff. You are a very short walk from the metro and can walk to the central town attractions. Stay here! Loads of cheap eateries on the ground floor too it’s perfect!

I had a wonderful stay at UrCove by Hyatt Xi’an Bell Tower. From the moment we checked in, the experience was excellent. The staff Timi (zhang) and Xiao Han welcomed us warmly — they were very friendly, helpful, and professional. They assisted us with our luggage ,my parcels ,showed us the room, and explained everything clearly. The hotel room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. We slept well and felt fully satisfied after long days of walking around the city. On our departure day, Xudo and Zheng Fang kindly helped us arrange a Didi ride to Xi’anbei Railway Station. Without their help, we would have likely missed our train. Their assistance truly meant a lot to us. In addition, the housekeeping team did an excellent job — the room was consistently clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff at Urcove truly deserve special recognition. Their service was exceptional, attentive, and consistently exceeded expectations. They genuinely deserve a big angpow for their outstanding achievement. As a lovely gesture, we also received a small gift from UrCove, which made our stay even more memorable. Highly recommended, and I would definitely choose this hotel again when visiting Xi’an.
