The hotel is conveniently located just 4km from Zhangyexi Railway Station and 25km from Zhangye Ganzhou Airport. Seeing Zhangye's sights from this hotel is easy with Muta Temple, Dafo Temple - Shanxi Guild Hall and Ganquan Park all close by. At the end of a busy day, travelers can unwind and relax in the hotel or go out and enjoy the city. This Zhangye hotel offers parking on site. According to our guests, this hotel provides a very high level of service. This hotel is particularly popular with those traveling with families.

"The room was nice, modern and clean. Staffs are helpful and have good service-mind. Location is great, right next to the drum tower. There are a lot of shops nearby, a food street is in walking distance, the Big Buddha Temple (Dafosi) is also walkable. There is also a free coffee machine at the lobby. Breakfast was also good. A little down side, the shower area has a lot of small flies, which we don’t know where they came from, but didn’t cause much annoyances. Despite some downsides above, we will stay at to this hotel again if we come back to Zhangye."

"Comfortable room, a good size with blackout curtains. The hotel is an easy walking distance from the train station no matter how much luggage you have. Free laundry facilities. Reception staff were friendly and helpful, happy to answer questions and assist with bookings and locating various services around town. The only negative is breakfast. Both days I was there one or more of the bread products were stale. Paper cups are provided for cold drinks (which seems needlessly wasteful) the one morning I tried, the orange juice was flavorless and watered down- it tasted like when you refill a juice bottle with water. The shape of the seating area is also unfortunate. There are two corners where people seem to appear out of nowhere and both days I encountered numerous children running and who absolutely should not have been allowed to bring their scooters in to the breakfast area (not the mobility kind) making carrying hot drinks and plates of food dangerous and unpleasant. Definitely recommended, just skip breakfast!"

"We stayed in this hotel as the base to see the Colourful Mountains. The hotel is old which is ok but it is not as clean as many guests have described. There was hair in the shower and the bathroom is patched up. Also, I would not recommend this hotel for nonsmokers as we are because there is smoking in the common areas. The entire hotel including the rooms smell of stale smoke which have seeped into the carpets and furnishings. You constantly feel choked up with fresh and stale cigarette smoke throughout the entire stay. That said, this viewpoint may be our problem because we are visitors from a country that has banned smoking in enclosed public spaces and it is what we are accustomed to. On another note, the service and hospitality was excellent and we thank the hotel team for this."

With Zhangyexi Railway Station just 3km away and Zhangye Ganzhou Airport only 27km away, transportation is very convenient. There is no shortage of things to see in the area, with the Former Site of Gospel Hospital, Ganquan Park and Fulaideng Hot Spring Water Park all nearby. After a long day of sightseeing, guests can retire to the comfort of the hotel. This Zhangye hotel offers parking on site. Our guests consider this hotel to have excellent service. For guests traveling with families, this hotel is consistently one of the most popular choices.

"On baidu map, it says that from Zhangye railway station to the hotel is about 3 km but when actually navigating my way over while carrying a luggage, it was so much further than I'd expect because Zhnagye's road and traffic are quite chaotic. Many traffic lights aren't even in operation and there are quite a few (3 I think) t+junctions that pedestrian have to cross via the underpass. The cars doesn't quite obey the traffic lights, so be careful and cautious. For the hotel itself, it's definitely one of my favorite overall, out of my 3 hotel stays during my trip. According to the receptionist I was offered a room upgrade, so thank you! There were also lots of free treats evertime I cleared it, so thank you again! Love especially the red dates yogurt, it's definitely a must try (although they were 2-3days after expiry). I even went out to the grocery to get more! Regarding the amenities, the air conditioner works but can't be controlled. Tried setting temp to 5 degree Celsius (lowest settings) and 30 degree celcius (highest setting), both doesn't work. It seems like it is fixed to room temp +/- a few degrees based on the temp outdoor. One of the day I had sunburn and wanted to cool off but due to how the temp was determined, I have no choice but to sweat it out. Other than that, the tap water here had very visible residue that you can tell that it isn't clear, so I really recommend not using it for drinking water boiled or not. Aon my last day, I wanted to try the bathtub but when I turned on the tap, I had a shock. The water that came out was brown, so I cancelled my initial plan of using it for relaxation 😕. There is also a humidifier provided and I am super grateful for that, however the water ran out on the 2nd day and I can't seem to fill it up correctly. The toilet bowl is also a smart toilet bowl, but I didn't realized it after closer inspection while trying to find how to flush. Lastly, I was so looking forward to the stars celling but it's kinda sad that you can't turn it on on its own without having the other lights turned on as well. Which honestly defeats the purpose of having a star gazing celling."

"10/10 experience, definitely would recommend. The hotel was spotless and service was top notch. Front desk staff helped me with any issues I had with booking of train tickets and parking for cars was very convenient. There is hot water and a pail to soak your feet, as well as fruits and yogurt which is much appreciated."

"Amazing hotel! Wasn’t sure what to expect, but its location is so close to the national park, and there’s a lot of little shops and restaurants around in the area. It’s better to stay here than in the city of Zhangye. Though the staff and I could not communicate verbally, the translation apps were perfectly fine and everyone at the hotel was very kind. The hotel went above expectation in accommodating us, and the breakfast had a large variety of food as well. Would definitely recommend!"

"Everything was beyond our expectations. When we cane the registration process was smooth and quick. In the Room we found the equipement for washing legs in hot water which was just perfect Experience (it was -5 outside!). Th room was clean, big and warm. For breakfast we asked sunny-side-up eggs and they did it! We asked for a restaurant for dinner and they told us where to go. To make the long story short, even nobody speaks English, we can strongly reccomand this hotel!"

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel! 1. The hotel offers complimentary pick up/drop off from train station. 2. The service standard is 6 stars! We remarked that we're staying for a special occasion the hotel went the extra mile to decorate the room + offered a complimentary upgrade to a suite for us. 3. The hotel offers a lot of extra products and services like free cucumber mask/ free service laundry etc- the list is extensive. 4. Opposite a park for a relaxing stroll. Overall, I highly recommend it!

入住時才發現是華住會旗下的酒店，兩大兩小訂了loft房型，樓上樓下兩張大床，還有一個小廳，整體空間寬敞明亮，裝修色調高級乾淨，比圖片上驚艷，是河西之旅最喜歡的酒店了，期待下次再來河西走廊再入住這個酒店。

It was a very modern hotel, with clean and spacious room. Equipment was sufficient and much use of energy saving device in the whole hotel by use of sensors. Hotel staff on seeing guests at lift entrance will greet them. At check out, the duty manager also politely greeted us goodbye and brought our two luggage to waiting taxi and wish us a present trip. A senior staff on duty suggested an eatery when asked for recommendation where locals will eat, and I ended eating there everyday. Security was good and we always felt safe. They also came to room to offer special brewed tea in the evening. A very personal gesture.

It is a new hotel just opposite Zhangye West hsr station. The room is big and clean with good amenities provided. Hotel breakfast was decent. It's got beef noodles and dumplings on alternate day. The DIY laundry room provides only 3 washers & 3 dryers whereby 1 dryer was out of service. It's pretty a long wait on my days of stay. Fruits and yogurts were sent up to the room everyday, which was very thoughtful.

We stayed here for 3 nights. Overall very good hotel, especially the restaurant. The only downside is our bathroom faucet leaked and so did the shower stall so often there was water on the bathroom floor after a shower or after using the sink.

I seems there is so many fake reviews. But I must say this experience was really top class. It's fairly newly renovated. Right across from the train station. Great Chinese style breakfast. Although limited English they did everything to help me find a driver and guide for our trip. The room was really clean and modern. Thanks to the team.

The room and bathroom were fine. But breakfast was served too late, starting at 7am. Many day tours required early pick up or we had to take a cab to the meeting place, so if the hotel can start serving breakfast at 6.30am, that would be better. I asked reception if there was coffee served during breakfast, and the lady staff said that they used to serve coffee but it was usually left untouched, so they stopped serving coffee. She said she would arrange for coffee to be served for us at breakfast. What we got was a very diluted brown murky drink 😂 I guess the locals do not know how to make a cup of coffee. Anyway, breakfast is Chinese style. But there was toast and jam!! ❤️ On check in, we were given some snacks samples which were great. And in the evening, a staff came to give us tasty yoghurt! Overall, service at this hotel is good!

中式裝修，乾淨整潔大氣，除了七彩丹霞，市內的張掖博物館、大佛寺也值得去。最好四點能到七彩丹霞，這樣從容，重點最後一站四號觀景台，最艷麗，旁邊有熱氣球可坐可拍照。山丹軍馬場可忽略，太冷了，路況也一般，趕了兩三個小時過去下雨也沒騎馬

Just completed a wonderful three night stay at the Zhangye Holiday Inn. Perhaps most Silk Road tourists do not spend three nights in Zhangye but we wanted to visit both the popular and more “off the beaten path” historical sites nearby. This Holiday Inn is up to international standards - the staff was very professional, courteous and well trained, the rooms were modern and well-maintained, and even the buffet breakfast restaurant manager spoke English. This is probably one of the few (if not the only) more Westernized hotels in Zhangye) and we had a very good stay and experience in this hotel in Zhangye.

媽呀，這個酒店費用才九十幾塊錢，而且房間裏面有暖氣，空調，乾濕分離，智能聲控。當時看到這個價格，我是猶豫再三啊，因為我這次出來沒有住過這麼便宜的，還是有點擔心的。進了房間之後，我老公就感歎，這個價格這酒店要虧錢的吧，現在做生意也太難了吧。這就算了，酒店還送了雙早，早餐種類還圈豐富，必須得給個好評。位置不足的是，停車不是很方便，而且停車費需要自己付款。
