"Really nice hotel, well located near Edgbaston village tram station. Easy access to central Birmingham for £3 all day. Free parking on site (must display a pass). Breakfast was lovely, well appointed. Clean and tidy. Would stay again."

"Friendly staff, speedy check-in, we got a spacious room with two double beds for a very good price. They provide amenities like tooth paste and razors for free on request. Everything is neat and clean. The only funny thing is that part of the shower door was removed for our room and water can get everywhere… but overall great experience!"

"It's a nice hotel but you have to remember that a lot of people book this hotel as a wedding venue. We stayed from Friday to Sunday and the first night was awful. There was a wedding going on and the music was so loud and didn't stop until 12.15am and then it took another half an hour for the very noisy, drunk guest to leave. On Saturday there was another wedding but this time the type of people were different and so there was no loud music and I hardly heard the people leaving. My room was a family room in the coach house. Sunday morning some builders started work in the coach house at 8 am which I was not happy about so I told them and they stopped. Another thing was the lift not working so my elderly Mum found it really hard walking up to the second floor. However, the hotel was able to give us a ground floor room which wasn't a family room but we managed to squeeze in a single bed. The staff were great and the breakfast was decent."

"Located on part of the Birmingham University campus in Edgbaston so good location for academic conferences / visiting the university, also short distance to dental hospital, cricket ground, tennis centre etc. Plenty of free parking including blue badge and EV charging. Check-in was quick and efficient. Angela, who checked us in, was friendly and helpful. There is a large bar which serves smaller meals throughout the day and also a restaurant in the evening. The bar food was average price for hotel food (£12+ for sandwich with some soup)  and average quality. Room was clean and tidy, with modern decor. It was very spacious and well equipped with seating and table, ironing board, plenty of pillows, pod coffee machine and plenty of coffee pods, tea bags etc. Black out blinds worked well and there was minimal noise from other rooms / corridor. Would definitely stay again if in the Edgebaston / Birmingham area. "

"Hyatt Rengency Hotel Birmingham is a very nice and cozy hotel with great facilities. It offers halal food, and prayer mats are available upon request, which I really appreciated. The leisure facilities are lovely, with a heated swimming pool, steam room, sauna, jacuzzi, and spa. However, my stay was let down by the fact that the room did not have a smart TV as mentioned on the website, which caused a lot of wasted time considering that I planned to stay in most of the times. The hotel eventually upgraded us (to a similar room just a few floors higher) after several contact made to reception and a long wait, but I’m grateful to Kenza for her assistance. On checkout, Nandini was very kind and offered support for my next visit as a gesture for the inconvenience. There's also an issue with parking, which operates on a first come first serve basis. So if you park your car on day 1 and say you're staying for 3 days, you have to pay for the parking for 3 days ahead which is £27 for 24hr. During these days if you happen to take your car out and come back with no free parking space, you lose your money. Your slot is not reserved. It would be better if they charge us for parking when we are leaving the car park rather than making us pay in advance. Overall, a comfortable hotel with excellent amenities, but clearer information on room facilities would have made the stay much smoother. I would have come better prepared."

"Fabulous apartment, really spacious, clean and tidy with all the facilities needed for a comfortable stay. Reception staff were very polite friendly and helpful, would be nice if the reception hours were longer though. Location was perfect for easy access to all the attractions of Birmingham City center, although the area itself doesn't look the nicest it was safe and secure and closer to my both the train and bus station. Would highly recommend this accommodation and Birmingham in general as a lovely place to visit"

"I came to stay as I needed to attend a meeting in the Birmingham Business Park the next day morning. The B&B was on the edge of the Coleshill. It was an okay stay, and just about okay. I won't be against staying there again, but there is nothing special to lure me back either. Plus: James ware expecting me when I arrived and showed me the key and the room. He also took my order for the next morning. The room was of decent size. There are lots of lights in the room. The bed was okay. There is on site parking space. The breakfast was ready when I walked down to the dining room. Minus: At £148 a nigh this was certainly not good value for money. The facility was a bit basic, albeit adequate (tea/coffee/kettle/biscuits and hair dryer). There was one bottle for hair/body wash and there was a small soap in the bathroom. Bathroom is just about of adequate size for one person. The water temperate varied a bit while on show, but workable. Also my room was on 2nd floor, with narrow steep stairs. It was okay for me as I traveled very light. But it would be tricky for someone with big luggage or mobility restraint."

"A very classy room I actually turned up slightly earlier than expected as my train was early to Birmingham. So I press to tell if I could check in early at around midday and they were more than happy to check me in however I decided to drop off my luggage and attend a meeting. The staff are very helpful and pleasant, and I had my usual additional request of having a room facing the canal. Unfortunately I was given a room on the opposite side to what I requested however went back down to the reception and the staff was so helpful in getting that sorted are they actually gave me the right room?"
