A hotel that is located conveniently to many pick up points for tours. Grocery stores, 7-11 and restaurants are also located nearby. Simple amenities such as shampoo/body soap, towels, hairdryer are available. Love it that there is breakfast and dinner that comes together with your stay. Nothing too fancy but good enough to fill your bellies considering the restaurants are quite pricey. You will need to get hot water on your own at the dispenser as there are no kettle in the room. Reception was always friendly in answering any questions, and even helped with my cab booking to the airport. Worth it for the price, would stay here again.

Kuzey ışıklarını avına çıkmaya gerek kalmadan görebilmek, buranın en büyük avantajı gibi. İskelenin ve karlı dağların uyumlu manzarası bana huzur verdi. Tromsø'ye bir saatten fazla mesafede olmasına rağmen, burası yine de görülmeye değer bir yer. Yolculuk sırasında ren geyiği çiftlikleri, köpek kızakları ve kayak yapanları görme fırsatım oldu.

They will do daily cleaning in the room which is appreciated, but took away our spoons which the staff thought it was the hotel’s. And sometimes after cleaning, they didn’t provide garbage bag for the bin. We are also not notified that 24 December is their ‘holiday’ so the breakfast will start late, several group standing in front of the restaurant waiting it to open while we are actuall rushing to the airport. The staff did allow us in at the end, no chaotic was caused luckily.

Had a room with a lovely seawiew. However, the front desk was unfriendly. And we even had to keep the luggage in the storage ourselves with no concierge or tags. Honestly, I wouldn't recommend. Stayed at Clarion the Edge and service was top notched. Don't stay here if you can.

Otelin konumu mükemmel, aktivite merkezine sadece 3-5 dakika, otobüs durağına ise 1 dakika yürüme mesafesinde. Resepsiyon, restoran ve oda servisi personeli son derece güler yüzlü ve yardımsever. Oda şehir için çok küçük değil, ancak yatak biraz yumuşak. En övgüye değer özelliği ise kahvaltı, akşam yemeği ve ikindi çayının uzun bir süre boyunca servis edilmesi, bu sayede dışarıda yemek yemeye neredeyse hiç gerek kalmıyor. Bu, özellikle arkadaşlarla seyahat ederken çok faydalı, çünkü herkes kendi temposunda yemek yiyebiliyor ve zamandan tasarruf sağlıyor. Turist sezonunun en yoğun olduğu dönemlerde restoranlarda masa, yemek ve servis için bekleme süreleri çok uzun olabiliyor. Yemek seçimi ve lezzeti oldukça iyi. Şiddetle tavsiye edilen bir otel.

An unpretentious but comfortable hotel in an unbeatable location in central Tromso (the third photo is the view from the hotel window). Highlights include the friendly staff (a shout out here to the ever helpful Petter), tasty and healthy breakfast, and comfortable sitting areas that mean you don't have to hang out in your room. Given the quality of the hotel it is surprising - and highly annoying - that they don't provide kettles in the room (I even offered to pay a deposit), the more frustrating because some photos on the site show coffee machines: so some rooms do have these facilities. The selection of toiletries is also surprisingly meagre - no shower gel for example, which seems unnecessarily cheapskate. My other gripe is that they need more individual tables in the breakfast room: finding a space at a long table feels reminiscent of youth hostelling... With these shortcomings noted, the hotel can be recommended and is good value for Tromso.

El hotel está bastante alejado del centro de Tromsø. La parada de autobús para ir al aeropuerto está a 10 min. Parece poco pero si está nevando y llevas mucho equipaje hay que ir con tiempo porque las cuestas tienen hielo. Cuando entras, es una maravilla. Han renovado las zonas comunes y es súper bonito. Pero al entrar en nuestra habitación doble.... No estaba renovada. Es la habitación más pequeña en la que hemos estado en 8 días por la zona. La puerta no está en buenas condiciones. El baño parece de ”un hospital”. Para nuestro gusto la cama y las almohadas son incómodas. Las paredes de la habitación tampoco están en buen estado. Cuando fuimos a desayunar parecía otro hotel. La cafetería con vistas panorámica era preciosa. Y el desayuno tipo buffet estaba muy rico. Nos choca bastante la inmensa diferencia que hay entre las zonas comunes y la habitación.
