"I checked in to Shangri-La Hotel in Fuzhou on 22 Oct. The experience was a pleasant & unforgettable one. I was greeted by Sarah when I checked in She was very friendly and helpful to acede to my request. Upon knowing that I am allergic to smoke smell, she arranged for the highest floor for me. The room is super clean and very big. I would also like to comment on the sincere service of another front counter staff, Wade Fu. He always greeted the guest with warm smiles. He answered all my questions well and showed concern to my safety as I was travelling alone. He made me felt at home. The hotel is in a strategic location, with WuYi Square just 5-min walk away and the there are many eateries within walking distance. Tourist attration ,SanFang QiXiang, is just a short car-ride. My overall impression of the hotel is awesome. I'll certainlyl stay in Shangri-La Hotel when I next visit Fuzhou. 👍👍👍👍👍👍"

"My wife and I recently spent a few days at the Fuzhou Sanbaobindi Hotel for a much-needed getaway, and it was, without question, the best hotel experience we’ve ever had. Situated in the heart of Fuzhou’s historic Sanfang Qixiang district, the hotel was the perfect base for exploring the cultural treasures of old Fuzhou—all within easy walking distance, including access to the metro. From the moment we stepped in, the experience was exceptional. We were warmly welcomed with traditional tea and snacks, and the check-in process was a breeze—under three minutes! Our room overlooked a beautifully manicured Chinese garden and perfectly balanced traditional design with modern comfort. Every detail in the room was spotless, showing a clear respect for the historical architecture. The true highlight of our stay, however, was the level of care and hospitality provided by the staff, especially our guest services manager, Roy Huang. Roy went above and beyond, offering us night snacks and daily desserts and taking time to share insights into Fuzhou’s rich history and culture. Our conversations with him were a true pleasure—learning about the city’s architecture, the hotel’s own story, and even the local tea culture, which he introduced us to with great care and knowledge. It’s rare to meet someone who makes you feel so genuinely welcome. Roy’s attention to detail and kindness transformed our stay into something extraordinary. We left Fuzhou with a much deeper appreciation for the city, and it was all thanks to the team at the Sanbaobindi Hotel. If you’re looking for an authentic yet refined stay that captures the spirit of traditional Fuzhou, I couldn’t recommend the Sanbaobindi Hotel highly enough. A heartfelt thank you to Roy and the entire staff for making this trip truly unforgettable."

"Booked an 5 day stay for an Business Trip. Location of hotel is good. There are a small shopping mall directly downstairs with some restaurants. (including starbucks and Mcdonalds) Most popular tourists and large shopping malls in the area are accessible via an short taxi trip. between 5-15 mins depending where you go. Overall hotel is very clean. Now for all the downside, (for reference I'm here during December with weather around 18 degrees during the day and 12-14 degrees during the night), if you like to control your own room temperature for your own comfort, do NOT book this hotel. The problem here is that they have an climate control in the room, however, it does not actually control any room temperature as I had later found out. Each day the hotel was pumping in heating through the centralised air condition. I complained that it was getting far too ”warm” for me and it was getting uncomfortable as the room felt stuffy and was giving me headaches, As there was no windows that you can open, there was no way to get ”fresh air” feeling into the room. It was also affecting my sleep during the night, this was an VERY unpleasant feeling. I tried to speak to the staff about this problem and their simple reply was basically ”nothing we can do” not even an attempt to offer an solution and that the climate control inside the room does NOT in fact control the temperature for the rooms! Another issue was I switched on the DND (do not disturb button) as I did not needed any room cleaning during the first night of stay, I came back to find room was cleaned and items was moved around. Now admittedly it's nice to come back to an tidied room, however I did not expect anyone to come in even though I switched the DND switch on. On the third day the same thing happen however this time I was inside the room working. Even though the DND button was switched on, staff was still knocking on doors and coming in to check if I needed room cleaning. After I rejected I was receiving calls to confirm I didn't need room cleaning, now all this is probably an good service for other people but for me it was very irritating as it kept interrupting me during an important work conference call. The final thing that I found to be quite lacking considering this is ”Hilton” was when I checked out, the staff asked if I needed an receipt/invoice for my stay, in which I requested yes, as I needed to put it to office accounts department for reimbursement purposes. They actually told me they could not print out any invoices for my stay. I needed to go and do that myself on Trip, which was fine, I thought I can do that myself, however because I have used room service etc I cannot get this on ”Trip”'s website. It just felt the whole experience was so poor coming from the ”Hilton” group. 100% the worst stay I have had."

"We had stayed in Fuzhou Lakeside Hotel for 4 nights and then extended for another 2 nights. The Executive Floor rooms are spacious, well maintained and with good views. The many value added services that came with the Executive Room was a very pleasant surprise. These included daily access to the Exec Lounge for high tea and happy hour, one piece of free laundry per day, free mini bar drinks and daily fruit platter (both replenished daily). The service staff stationed on the Executive Floor is efficient, responsive and always ready to greet us with a cheerful smile. The hotel is just next to West Lake and cane be conveniently access via access gate to the broadwalk. Will highly recommend this hotel especially the Executive Rooms."

"I had a pleasant and satisfactory stay at the InterContinental Fuzhou. The rooms are very spacious, and I especially liked the clever sliding divider that allows you to separate the bathroom area when needed. Breakfast was abundant with a good variety of options, and the service throughout the stay was prompt and efficient. The hotel is also very conveniently located, with the metro entrance just a 3-minute walk away."

"第二次住這個酒店。第一次是ba樓，窗户可以打開，感覺還不錯，第二次入住定的房間多就選了這個b樓的。結果房間裏面煙味，我和一起住的女孩子都晚上不停咳嗽，下樓的時候一個家長帶孩子的也反應過敏了。可見這種老樓，無法開窗又沒有好的新風真是太糟糕了。以後估計大概率還是回西湖大酒店住了，這裏應該不回來住了。早點還是不錯的，要是價格不貴的時候住a樓還是可以的。容易過敏對氣味敏感的，b樓千萬別來住了，誰住誰慘。開車來作為中轉住這裏還是很便宜的，不用進城繞城堵了，到高速快進來出，就是這個b樓太坑爹了，再也不住了。"

"Enjoyed my stay in this charming Fuzhou ME Hotel and will definitely choose it again when in Fuzhou. Hotel was opened in early 2025 & the room layout was like a home. Room - There was a walkin closet and a very large bathroom👍🏻. Our 2 single beds can accommodate 4 persons(it can be a slight squeeze). It can accommodate two luggages comfortably. Amenities - innovative with cute descriptions. Their toothbrush is one of the better quality hotel toothbrushes. Bar - enjoyed the ambiance and good music, although drinks menu didn’t have wine by the glass but by the bottle. Location - a pretty central next to Shibu underground train stn exit D and bus stops close by. Good mom & pop 小吃 outside the hotel for breakfast. Luckin coffee & a bakery is within the block or two. There’s also a Walmart nearby for overseas visitors to do your bulk grocery shopping. Staff - very courteous and helpful, although some spoke very little English. Overall, I enjoyed my stay here and a thumbs up. 👍🏻"

"Winni (lobby reception) and Fanni (concierge) were very helpful and hospitable. They have assisted me with WeChat difficulties (due to the language barrier) and to receive my taobao deliveries. Thanks ladies for making my stay such a pleasant and memorable one. I’ll be back!"
