二次入住同裏湖大飯店了，依然是完美體驗！酒店自帶湖景和花園，這次二刷好好逛了一圈。房間裏暖氣很足，這幾天降温一點也不冷。 特別要感謝管家小秋，從入住到離店始終熱情周到，主動安排需求，這次住宿多了不少温暖。自助晚餐有我最愛的鍋子和海鮮，很愛沒有酒精的雞尾酒🍸 來同裏放鬆小住，週末可以常來。

Suzhou Pingjiang Road Yihe Songmaoju is a boutique hotel located in the historic heart of Suzhou, renovated in 2024. The location is outstanding—right on the main canal and perfectly placed for exploring the old town in either direction. It is also very close to a metro station, making it easy to reach other districts. We spent days exploring locally and evenings taking the metro to central areas and malls with excellent dining options. The hotel itself is charming but has some rough edges. Despite the recent renovation, finishing details feel inconsistent, which is perhaps inevitable in such an old neighbourhood. We stayed in a ground-floor family suite, which was disappointing. The room was significantly smaller than expected, and the photos are misleading. It is essentially two connected rooms rather than a true suite, with limited space for luggage and daily use. A large bathtub occupies much of the space without adding real value. I would not recommend the family suite, particularly for families with children. Service, however, was excellent. The staff were consistently attentive, professional, and genuinely helpful. Breakfast was decent but modest—served mainly to order with a small buffet. The “Western breakfast” option was acceptable but unremarkable. Overall, this is a well-located boutique hotel with excellent service, but room selection matters, and expectations should be set accordingly.

I found this hotel by chance after learning that the one where I was originally wanting to book was sold out for my dates. I guess it was luck, because this place is so beautiful and calming. The pictures do not lie! I booked one of their top floor rooms, but I didn't realize that I would be navigating a short but steep step of winding stairs to access it. (Elevators are between the 1st and 2nd floor guest rooms only.) Even as a relatively able person, I still took my time going up and down the steps. The room itself is nothing short of amazing; in addition to the outdoor private tub on the patio, there's also a tea ”alcove,” and also a king-sized bed in a sparsely- but chicly furnished main room. It's a pity I stayed for only two days, and I didn't have the chance to explore their offerings of a sound bath, etc. The staff also brought up some kind of soup concoction on the first night, which was very kind! Breakfast is included, but guest have to go to the building across the path, and take the elevator to the 2nd floor. I tried only the Western breakfast; maybe the Chinese breakfast is more hearty. Tip #1: When ordering a DiDi or taxi, drop your pin at the hotel's precise location, and not just at the security check at the main entrance. From reading other reviews, I thought that cars not belonging to guest couldn't get in, so I ended up walking with heavy luggage to get to the entrance of the hotel. Fortunately, when I left, I was able to get the DiDi to the hotel parking lot. Tip #2: Staff possess varying degrees of English levels, but I'd still recommend this place if (like me) you don't speak any Chinese. Make sure to add WeChat and add the hotel's account as a friend; this is the fastest way to contact them during your stay. Staff and I communicated via this method, as well as interpretation apps (Google Translate on my end). Tip #3: Humble Administrator's Garden is about a 20-25 mn walk south. The closest ”scenic area” is along the Grand Canal, which just over the wall north of the hotel. You'll likely need to take the bus (download Amap) and/or take a DiDi to get to different places.

Hazırlıksız seyahat Bir süre yeni otele ve eski otele baktım ve sadece o gün rezervasyon yaptığım için sonunda Nanyuan'ı seçtim. Kısa bir gün olmasına rağmen resepsiyonda check-in yapmaktan sonunda ayrılmaya kadar çok memnun kaldım. Giriş yaptığımda oda yükseltmesi güzeldi. Böyle bir otelde kalmanın iyi bir yanı, her ayrıntının halledilmesidir. Otel ortamı çok güzel. Giriş yaptıktan sonra birisi sizi odaya yönlendirecek. Bavulumuz yok, sadece sırt çantamız var. Kohler sıhhi tesisat, Dyson saç kurutma makinesi, L'Occitane şampuan ve saç kremi, iyileştirilmiş odada bir kahve kapsülü makinesi ve tabii ki ilave olarak kulağa monte kahve bulunur. Oteldeki servis personeliyle tanıştığınızda, merhaba demek için inisiyatif alacaklar. Kahvaltı hem Çin hem de Batı seçenekleriyle güzel. Otelin ayrıca bir fitness merkezi olduğunu ve tenis kortunun da olduğunu gördüm. Kuzey kapısının hemen dışında, gündüzleri bir kahve dükkanı, geceleri ise bir içki bulabileceğiniz Shiquan Caddesi var. Otelin ”gezilecek yerleri” de var ama çok aceleci davrandım ve sadece bir bomba sığınağı ve klasik bir araba gördüm.

We were happy with our stay here. The room was nicer than it looked online, and the hotel was really clean. There are playrooms for young children that are free (3 rooms with some different toys in each room). The rooms are a bit old and tired, but my 2 year old enjoyed playing there and requested UK hi back lots of times. For parents it is just great to have somewhere for your kid to play and have fun, especially as the weather was very cold when we went! Outside there is a play area and sand digging pit. Location is walking distance from Tongli old town. Restaurant does evening buffet, and buffet breakfast. The food is fine, more Chinese than western, my husband really liked it and my favourite part was the Beijing roast duck at dinner. The pool is warm, with floats and rubber rings to borrow. There is a little land train, it takes a 10 minute trip around the hotel grounds and the cost is 20RMB for one adult and child. For me it was very boring but my son loved it 😂 The staff are very warm and friendly, everyone is very professional. Each guest is connected to a butler on wechat before they arrive so you can easily send a message and get some help. Our butler is Yu Ting and she helped us very professionally. For me, the things the hotel can improve are (1) the animal petting zoo - by western standard the facilities for the animals are not very good, just concrete enclosure with hut. For foreigners, we do not really like this. (2) We had a problem with the other guests smoking in the hotel, eg in the coffee bar. When I complained to the staff they tried to stop the guests, but even though they repeatedly reminded them to stop, the other guests continued. In the end they arranged for me to move to a private room near the bar where I could avoid the smoking. I was very grateful that they found a solution for me and my baby, but I am speechless there are such guests who flagrantly break the rules and the hotel cannot stop them. We smelled smoke in some different public areas, so maybe this is a problem with several guests 🙁 Overall we are happy with our stay and it is a good place to spend a few days with kids.

It's a really pretty hotel, located in the touristic area. We really liked the style of the hotel and the garden. The ladies at the front desk and the hotel staff were all really helpful and kind to us, and were all very polite. When we arrived and when we left, there was a lady who could speak English, she helped us a lot. The only small problem we encountered was, that the fridge in the room was very weak. But the ladies at the front desk helped us, and put my mother's medicine in their fridge, and helped us freeze our ice packs. The breakfast is a traditional Chinese breakfast.

We stayed at Artyzen Habitat Suzhou and overall, we were very pleased. The location is excellent — convenient for getting to major attractions. The interior design is absolutely stunning — modern, stylish, and tasteful. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-equipped with everything you might need. Breakfast was also a highlight — delicious, varied, and made with quality ingredients. However, unfortunately, the service was a major letdown. For a hotel positioned as 5-star, the service was, frankly, far below expectations — even by 3-star standards, it would be considered poor. When we arrived, no one greeted me at the entrance, and no help was offered with my luggage — I had to pull a heavy suitcase out of the taxi myself. Things got even more surprising: I had to walk around the hotel looking for staff to check in, because at 9 PM there was no one at the reception desk. At check-out, the same story repeated itself — no assistance with luggage, no farewell. The hotel is genuinely beautiful and comfortable, but the level of service does not match the advertised standard. I hope management takes note of this, because the hotel truly has great potential.

確實如網友所言，對服務不太能抱有期望， 1，入住時一般酒店是管家帶看房間並介紹，或者直接在門口等，而我們入住當天，是到了房間門口，發現房間門開着，然後穿着便服的工作人員突然從房間出來，把我們嚇一跳，當然這已經算小細節了； 2，公湯營業時間是8:00-22:30，結果我們晚上21:30都已經沖洗完要開始泡湯了，跟我們説金湯已經在刷洗了，不能泡了。那請問我們進來的時間/洗浴的時候，就不能有人來提醒我們一下嗎？距離結業還有整整一個小時就提前打掃，而且當時女湯裏除了我們還有3-4個客人，大家都面面相覷； 3，週二退房前想再去泡一下，特地早起，結果進了女湯更衣室發現燈都關着（刷儲物櫃門禁能進來，門禁沒關/其次門口沒有任何閉館標識），我後來自己打電話去前台，才知道週二閉館。之前辦入住，和任何時刻都沒有人提醒過我們這件事，入住須知上也沒有，導致我們白白早起。前台的話術是攜程上有寫（確實有，大概要下拉個七八頁才能看到的小字） 並且沒有任何補償措施，在我們退房時，還有客人驅車過來想泡温泉，結果被告知當天閉館，人家也是白跑一趟，所以標識不清絕對不是個例。 其他性價比還是挺高的，私湯收費也比較合理，但私湯也衹有銀湯。

Our stay at the Novotel Suzhou was nothing short of memorable! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm smiles and exceptional service, which set the tone for an amazing experience for our entire family. The hotel itself is beautiful, with a modern yet inviting ambiance that instantly made us feel at ease. We were particularly impressed by the range of facilities that catered to everyone in the family. The hot springs were a highlight for us, providing a tranquil escape and a perfect way to unwind and rejuvenate. The water was just right, and the surroundings were serene, adding to the overall relaxing atmosphere. The swimming pool was also a big hit, especially with the kids. Spacious and well-maintained, it offered plenty of room for swimming, splashing, and simply having fun. The kids’ playground was another wonderful feature that our children absolutely loved. It was well-designed, safe, and filled with engaging activities that kept them entertained while we enjoyed a bit of downtime. Food at the Novotel Suzhou was a true treat! The morning brunch had a diverse selection of delicious items that catered to all tastes. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented, making each meal a delightful experience. We looked forward to each dining experience, knowing there was something new to try and savor. The afternoon brunch was another stand-out feature. It was a luxurious affair with a mix of international and local flavors that kept us coming back for more. The chefs clearly took pride in their craft, and it showed in every dish. Overall, our stay at the Novotel Suzhou was filled with wonderful moments, from relaxing in the hot springs to enjoying family time at the pool and playground. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to create lasting family memories, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit!

I was very satisfied with this May Day trip. It doesn't feel crowded on May Day, which is very suitable for vacation. The reservation was made about 2 days before, and I called in advance to confirm the reservation. I was able to communicate with the hotel through WeChat. Throughout my entire stay the staff were very friendly and was a call or text away. If I needed help with anything, within seconds they were at my door to assist. 🐾 As a solo traveler I chose this hotel because it was pet friendly and had public and private hot springs. I booked a private hot spring room. The room was very large. The private hot spring in the room was very good, with a suitable water temperature, especially suitable for relaxation. The log style design is warm and advanced. The floor-to-ceiling glass door face the small lake view. The feeling of being woken up by the sun and birds in the morning is so healing! 🎉 Rich activities: It seems they have activities everyday. But with my short stay I was able to do the cooking class. The aunty is very patient, and took me through step by step until it got it . ✨ I must also mention the great SPA service. The day before I left I got the most amazing full body massage. After which I decided I needed a face massage also. Because they only open at 1;30pm on Monday. I had to wait a little while after my check out to get my face massage. And it was worth the wait. 2 days later I still get compliments about my glowing skin. I strongly recommend this hotel if you are looking for a relaxation, nature embracing, quiet hotel. Recommendations: 1.Have more variety meal. not much options for vegetarian and people who don't eat pork. Introduce more western meals for your foreign visitors 2. Can provide delicious pet snacks, or send a special breakfast for dogs. Can have a pet play area on the lawn.
