Similar to the east coast of Tasmania. There is a RV camp and there is also a cabin area for accommodation. One parking space for one room. Driving from the camp to the town is just 10 minutes away. Daily necessities in large supermarkets are readily available. We booked a beach huts for kids to play on the beach. Looking out at the balcony is an invincible seascape, watching the stars at night, watching the sunrise in the morning, just want to stay. The two-bedroom beach huts have four beds, one double bed and one double bed, and the kitchen utensils are complete. On the first day of the New Year's Eve, we all have a sea view for dining, pleasant and delicious. The camp has a matching children's play area. The laundry room is a coin-operated self-service. If you arrive during working hours, you will meet the old grandfather at the front desk of Nice and give us guidance on the next day's driving route. Very pleasant stay experience.

Two nights in Swansea was perfect. Quiet little town & Swansea Cottages was a great place to rest awhile. Our unit was very well equipped with everything you need. Appreciated fresh milk & having hand sanitiser available. Never seen a TV mounted on BIR door before but it worked well - open door for watching TV in bed or closed for watching from the couch. Loved having a bathtub to soak in too.

Both Karen and Bob are friendly host. We arrived in late evening that Karen immediately recommended some restaurants nearby for us to take dinner. Then the next morning, we had a great and delicious breakfast with the sea view. Then when we were going to leave the lovely B&B, we found a flat tyres at our car. Bob was so helpful to fix it so that we could continue our journey. Appreciated their help and hospitality. Freycinet Waters is highly recommended!

This is a review for the restaurant at the Waterloo Inn. Food was sensational! Customer service brilliant. It was like going back to the late 1970s decor wise but the food was out of this world! Seasonal menu and food cooked fresh to order and quickly. Even my 15 year old was genuinely impressed. Fried chicken bites with house mayo, warm olives to start. Risotto with a generous serve of Tasmanian truffle and mushrooms, a beef and red wine pie encased in a magic flaky pastry topped off with devil's food cake. Highly recommended!

We were pleasantly surprised by the Swansea motor inn. We booked the property due to its convenient location to Freycinet National Park. We arrived late after going to the local pub (Bark Mill Tavern & Bakery which I highly recommend for food and friendly service) following a day of hiking. I called the reception to let them know and they assured me it wouldn’t be a problem and just to give them a ring when arriving. The room was clean and had all we needed for one night. It had a beautiful view of the ocean with a spacious balcony for morning coffee. We had one of the best coffees of the trip from the wholefoods cafe across the road and there’s a service station right next to it to fill up before heading on our way on our Tassie road trip.

Driving into the road is the mountain road, it is a bit interesting, it is easy to go in the wrong direction. This was an interesting place. The rooms are set about the property so you really only have one near neighbour. There's a et area as you walk in. The main room is quite large. The couch was a little tired, the curtains looked like they were out of the 60s, but I'm sure they weren't they just needed a little bit of attention, but the bed was very comfortable. Then there was the bathroom, it was very large with a spa bath & separate shower It was all quite clean. My room only had a view of close by bushes. I will give them bonus points for having larger containers of soap, shampoo & conditioner in the shower. It's more environmentally friendly than the small ones. Alas this is another establishment that has a kettle that won't fit under the tap. The bar/lounge/dinning room looked over the Coles Bay, which was nice. The meal was very good.

Daily necessities in large supermarkets are readily available. We booked a beach huts for kids to play on the beach. Looking out at the balcony is an invincible seascape, watching the stars at night, watching the sunrise in the morning, just want to stay. The two-bedroom beach huts have four beds, one double bed and one double bed, and the kitchen utensils are complete. On the first day of the New Year's Eve, we all have a sea view for dining, pleasant and delicious. The camp has a matching children's play area. The laundry room is a coin-operated self-service. If you arrive during working hours, you will meet the old grandfather at the front desk of Nice and give us guidance on the next day's driving route. Very pleasant stay experience.

Risotto with a generous serve of Tasmanian truffle and mushrooms, a beef and red wine pie encased in a magic flaky pastry topped off with devil's food cake. Highly recommended!

Then the next morning, we had a great and delicious breakfast with the sea view. Then when we were going to leave the lovely B&B, we found a flat tyres at our car. Bob was so helpful to fix it so that we could continue our journey. Appreciated their help and hospitality. Freycinet Waters is highly recommended!

We were pleasantly surprised by the Swansea motor inn. We booked the property due to its convenient location to Freycinet National Park. We arrived late after going to the local pub (Bark Mill Tavern & Bakery which I highly recommend for food and friendly service) following a day of hiking. I called the reception to let them know and they assured me it wouldn’t be a problem and just to give them a ring when arriving. The room was clean and had all we needed for one night. It had a beautiful view of the ocean with a spacious balcony for morning coffee. We had one of the best coffees of the trip from the wholefoods cafe across the road and there’s a service station right next to it to fill up before heading on our way on our Tassie road trip.

Hotel location in the mountain forest reserve ． is relatively quiet, the advantage is that you can contact wildlife 0 distance. Driving into the road is the mountain road, it is a bit interesting, it is easy to go in the wrong direction. The room is clean and comfortable, there is a terrace to see the mountains and forests and the distant sea view. There is a telescope configuration, which is very good. 👍

This was an interesting place. The rooms are set about the property so you really only have one near neighbour. There's a et area as you walk in. The main room is quite large. The couch was a little tired, the curtains looked like they were out of the 60s, but I'm sure they weren't they just needed a little bit of attention, but the bed was very comfortable. Then there was the bathroom, it was very large with a spa bath & separate shower It was all quite clean. My room only had a view of close by bushes. I will give them bonus points for having larger containers of soap, shampoo & conditioner in the shower. It's more environmentally friendly than the small ones. Alas this is another establishment that has a kettle that won't fit under the tap. The bar/lounge/dinning room looked over the Coles Bay, which was nice. The meal was very good.

Great little place to stay, very conveniently located between Maria Island ferry and the Freycinet peninsula. Cottage was clean and had access to a fireplace and wood. Lots of room for kids to run and play and sandpits and swings next to cabins. Got to see lots of farm animals including baby deer. Staff very friendly and accommodating.
