DDInn Hotel

Arrived the hotel around 3pm, and was swiftly checked in by the staff. They explained that they do not provide mineral water bottles but there are water dispensers in the hotel on certain levels. Hotel staff was very helpful: I needed help to check for a bus to Lihpao and they helped to search on the spot, and advise accordingly. There are many good breakfast places and a 7-11 within 3-5min walking distance from hotel, and there is a night market 10-15min walk away from the hotel too. As we wanted to explore HouLi area, they were able to store our luggages when we checked out too. Would prefer this hotel if I could flush toilet paper down the toilet. I wasn't comfortable with the idea of throwing soiled paper into a waste bin due to hygiene (but I had to get used to it for many places in Taiwan). Would be nice if there are more universal power point in the room too.

Really have a pleasant stay in DDinn 👍🏻👍🏻 The hotel is kinda near to the train station and can be reached by walking distance. You can find different famous locations around the hotel e.g., Miyahara. Highly recommended! Will definitely come back again when I’m in Taichung.

Nicely renovated and clean hotel. Location is in a quite street and is a short taxi ride to many tourist locations. Miyahara Ice Cream is just a short 8 minutes walk away!

The place is ok, laundry machines for free, bicycles for free, next to the train station. Housekeeping is ok but by any reason the carpets keep dirty. Maybe need to replace the carpets for new ones, they keep debris even after cleaned. The biggest problem during my stay was the internet connection. The first few days it worked spotless. Afterwards something broke and the connection did not work. It is not that it was slow, but something was off. When you connected, it worked fine for 5 minutes. Afterwards it became super slow to the point of being unusable. But if you disconnect and connect again it worked again sometimes. It wasted my time, energy and patience.

The staff are friendly and helpful. I left my luggage in lobby by mistake after taking care kids the staff could recall me and return luggage to me without any lost! So thankful for the helpful staff !

Location was near the Taichung Station, and it's very convenient to walk to many attractions.. Washer is available, but there is no dryer, so wash at your own risk..

Lovely and spacious room! Super clean as well. Safe for solo travellers, staff were really helpful and friendly too!

Room was spacious, clean and tidy. Enjoyed my stay there. Very near Taichung station, can easily walk to Miyahara and multiple food places.
