"I stayed in this hotel a couple of times. Have to admit is time to forget it on my Taichung visit list.  As the hotel is a bit old and the shopping center downstairs is actually without much shops to shop around. The trigger point is the Ms Sung 宋小姐at the reservation department. When I asked about change of dates from summer higher season to lower Sept season without asking for a refund ,instead of hearing at least an apology for not able to change, she actually scolded me in the whole conversation. Very seldom kind of service that would happen in this competitive market. Not to mention I am a frequent visitor to this hotel before. So the alternative is to choose the newer hotel at a more convenient spot. Forget this one. Not recommended"

The front desk staff were incredibly helpful and even recommended a list of local food spots. There's a 7-Eleven, PX Mart, McDonald's, and other stores nearby, plus it's within walking distance to Feng Chia Night Market. You can also find the famous souvenir shop, Ruyi Sunnycake, close by. The room was clean and hygienic, and the shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner all smelled lovely. There are complimentary snacks and drinks in both the room and the lobby. They also have a gym and laundry room!"
