While the hotel is located at the western district, a bit far from the central district, there are plenty of supermarkets and a variety of restaurants in the vicinity, which made it convenient for me. The breakfast options were abundant, offering something for everyone. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for its great service, comfort, and amenities!"

"I stayed in this hotel a couple of times. Have to admit is time to forget it on my Taichung visit list.  As the hotel is a bit old and the shopping center downstairs is actually without much shops to shop around. The trigger point is the Ms Sung 宋小姐at the reservation department. When I asked about change of dates from summer higher season to lower Sept season without asking for a refund ,instead of hearing at least an apology for not able to change, she actually scolded me in the whole conversation. Very seldom kind of service that would happen in this competitive market. Not to mention I am a frequent visitor to this hotel before. So the alternative is to choose the newer hotel at a more convenient spot. Forget this one. Not recommended"

For dinner, we ordered a chicken and wild vegetable hot pot; we requested it at 3 PM that day, but they prepared it without any problems. The owner, a calligrapher, and everyone else were very kind, and the dog and cat were friendly and adorable. Guguan is quite far, but I would like to go again."
