"Staff was polite and room was clean. This was the most comfortable stay throughout my 10 days trip in Taiwan. Will stay in this hotel again if I ever visit Taichung again. Bought a cup noodle from nearby convenience store and forgot about taking the utensil and thankfully the hotel provide utensils. There’s no in-hotel room service or breakfast provided however order can be placed with them at the front desk. Walkable distance to railway station and eateries. Check in was prompt. However the sound proofing was quite bad cos I think someone next door got quite drunk and the commotion can be heard quite clearly. Otherwise, if no one is drunk, there shouldn’t be any issue with this hotel. There’s also a balcony at Level 9 for smokers."

The air confining works well with a cold personal fridge! The room service staff is friendly with good work. The breakfast serves different dishes everyday and they were tasty varieties! I consider the CP value (cost and price) is very high! It is highly recommended for the budget solo travelers!"

As for the swimming pool, the quality of water is also good enough for children in 6-12 age group. BTW, thanks for the swimming pool service people. "I had a pleasant stay at Norway Forest Hotel in Taichung. The location is excellent, just a short walk from Taichung Train Station, which makes traveling around the city very convenient. There are also many restaurants and convenience stores nearby. The room was clean, modern, and comfortable. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was clean with good water pressure. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout the stay. The hotel also has a playground for children, which is great for families, as well as laundry and drying facilities, very convenient for longer stays.
