Regency Park Hotel, Health Club & Spa ★★★★

"Rooms ok but in general hotel is so average and soulless. Gym and spa OK"

Swan, Thatcham by Marston's Inns ★★★

"What a remarkable transformation. We visited yesterday and chose two of the special omelettes, and it was a delight to see such imaginative dishes available beyond the usual menu offerings. The food was beautifully presented and arrived promptly, which only added to the experience. A particular mention must go to Deane and Elliott, whose service was exemplary throughout, as well as the young lady behind the bar, who was exceptionally courteous and professional. Their warmth and attentiveness made our visit all the more enjoyable. A thoroughly impressive experience from start to finish. We look forward to returning again very soon."

The Royal Oak, Yattendon ★★★★

"The room was really spacious and there was a lovely view from the bathroom over the pub garden. There was a good coffee machine in the room and lovely toiletries provided. The breakfast was fab and it was a very peaceful night's sleep. I would love to stay here again. The village is so beautiful."

The Bunk Inn ★★★★

"Ordered a pint… it tasted fine. Got to the last inch of the glass and it was full of sediment. Took it back to the bar and showed the guy. Ordered a different beer and paid for it. Had a chat about the beer with the barman and the manager, the manager asked the guy to pour another pint and see what happens. Not sure of the results. My issue is that at no point did the manager offer to replace the beer at no cost…. I didn’t expect it but it would have been nice for them to offer!"
