I recently stayed at the New Dap Hostel in Turpan and had a delightful experience. The hostel's location is fantastic, situated conveniently close to many attractions in the area. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, providing excellent recommendations for local eateries and sights to explore. The hostel itself is clean and well-maintained, with comfortable beds and spacious common areas for socializing with fellow travelers. The atmosphere was lively yet relaxed, making it easy to unwind after a day of sightseeing. One highlight was the rooftop terrace, offering stunning views of the surrounding area, especially at sunset. It was the perfect spot to enjoy a drink and chat with other guests. Overall, I highly recommend New Dap Hostel to anyone visiting Turpan. Its combination of great location, friendly staff, and comfortable accommodations made for a memorable stay.

The only hostel in Turpan. Can’t recommend enough. There is a shared tour you could join in a reasonable price. The host speaks excellently English which is a plus. Bathroom is clean. Room is spacious enough and it also has a decent table for online working. A few restaurants nearby

Clean and spacious. Good ambience. Surrounded by lots of convenience stores and restaurants. But you have to prepare towel, toilet paper, shampoo, bath gel etc. by yourself. A big plus point is that there are an adorable dog Hadou and a playful and lovely kitten with whom I am so much in love.

As a foreign traveller, I found the owner wonderful and is really helpful. The shared tours run by the hostel really well given the distance of some attractions from Turpan. It is a lovely building and the rooms are modern and clean. Happy to recommend.
