The sand therapy is a unique highlight of the hotel and absolutely fantastic! We went for a 'bury' in the morning and enjoyed it so much, we had to go back for another 'bury' in the evening, haha! The breakfast quality was excellent and deserves a special mention 👍. The roasted buns and clear beef noodle soup were my absolute favorites. This guesthouse truly exceeded all my expectations."

Let me add that each room in the B&B has not been given a very elegant name, although I can’t remember it. But it shows how attentive the boss is in running the business, so I thought of adding that there is actually breakfast, milk, nuts and fruits."

"It's unexpectedly good! One of the must-have homestays for family trips! The front desk housekeepers, Zuli and Nayi, are so considerate and thoughtful! They took the initiative to help move the luggage to the room and greeted us politely when we checked out! One of the highlights of the entire trip! I think I will choose this place again next time I travel, and I will recommend it to my friends around me"

"Location very good in the city centre. You can walk to the museum and lake in a few minutes. Lots of restaurants and a good supermarket minutes away. Staff at check in very friendly and helpful. Breakfast good, if you like Chinese style. Room was spacious and modern. One of the most comfortable beds I've slept in for a long time! Aircon was reasonable - temperatures outside were still quite mild for Turpan. However, if I was booking in the summer months I would check reviews on Trip beforehand to make sure it was coping with the high temperatures. No fridge in the room, which was a surprising for a modern 4 star hotel and would be another disadvantage in the summer months there. Breakfast only starts at 0800. On the day I left, I had to get a taxi at 0750. The lovely ayis in the kitchen gave me a box of food to go and slept encouraging me to take even more food! However, no one was on at reception at that time! Overall, good in many areas but needs to improve in others."

"There was coffee in the room, but it was already evening, and I was worried it would keep me awake. I heard the breakfast was really good, but unfortunately, I overslept and missed it. The lobby atmosphere was lovely, but I was in such a rush that I didn't get a chance to sit and enjoy it for long. The sleepwear was very comfortable, and the hairdryer was powerful."

"Actually this is the perfect choice for a hotel in visiting turpan. The reason that I took a half star off on the rating is related to the unreliable support from the Young man from the front desk. On arrival at check in, I asked for information on public transportation to flamingo mountain, he claimed that there is no public bus and you must hire a car service to flaming mountain, even if you call DIDI to get there and you will not be able to call a Didi to come back. Before booking the hotel, I knew that the turpan north station has public buses to the major attractions. The city of turpan has done a wonderful job to promote the Uyghur culture. The hotel is in an excellent location right across from the train station,, breakfast buffet is good, room size is adequate, new. Recommend . I will be back."

"Great accomodation for short stay in Turpan. I walked from the Raiwlay station (~30 min), was upgraded due to low season. Great restaurant and nice bars cross the street. Short taxi ride to the Turpan princes residence and Suleyman Minaret (Su-gong Ta, the talles minaret in China). Old streets with a chance to see the disappearing wolrd."

"A must-stay homestay when you come to Turpan. The environment in Turpan must be the ceiling. The swimming pool is big and beautiful. The breakfast is also yyds. The girls and boys in the yard are also responsive. The service is super good, especially the hot pot. The hot pot in the evening is a must-order. The meal for four people is too much to finish 😂 I also did sand therapy on the day I came. The effect is too good. The delayed period was buried 😅 Close your eyes and rush"

Turpan West impression homestay
"The hotel is located in a new tourism area designed to look like an old village. It is nice but it seems very quiet, when we arrived there was no one around in the area. It has potential for lot of different businesses but at the minute it is a bit of a ghost town. The hotel itself is very clean and modern on the inside. Big clean rooms, with large beds, TV's and bathrooms. The staff were all very helpful and even kindly upgraded our room type for us. I would definitely recommend and hope the area around the hotel gets more lively in the future. I have included photos so you can see where you enter to reach the hotel. Also, a photo of the balcony accessible from our room."

"Our excitement started, from the moment, we met the staff at turpan train station, very gentle, n warm.. Then arriving at the lobby, full of warmth north Wellington smiles, of staff, then the welcome water melon n the melon, helped us release the tensions of train ride,.. Then the comfortable, lodges, ( 2 lodges A frame , very comforting, the breeze n singing birds n 2 big pots of herbal tea with fragrant flowers, n rose,..lots of dried fruits, resin, figs n more,, later on, in evening the refreshing, melon n watermelon, , later in evening free coffee n chocolate cakes,,.. Breakfast, simple n enough for a day of activity, all the items for dinner raglan, n fried vegetables, n kebabs, , one of the best as long as I remember in recent years.. Thanks to the English speaking staff for organizing our trip route n selecting transportation.. Staff thanks for helping me find the best barber for my haircut,, which busy schedules , back home in Japan Warmth n professionalism of staff are much more than our payment .. We had to extend our stay twice,..we already missing the place.. Thank you thank you"

"If you are a FOREIGN WOME SOLO TRAVELER, do not stay here if you arrive late at night at the train station. The hotel is beautiful and it is in a beautiful scenario. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfast is perfect. But it is very difficult and a little dangerous to arrive at this hotel, alone, ate at night: there are almost no taxis at the train station. We have to take a taxi in a place with no lights and dark. The road till the hotel is beautiful during the day, but at night there are no cars and no lights: it is completely dark. So, if you are a women solo traveller, choose this hotel if you arrive during the day."

"The owner is very laid-back; everything was handled with guidance over the phone. The toys in the toy area were very dirty, and the room inside had a distinct local smell. Some people might find it a bit nauseating. I suggest the owner use some aromatherapy; after all, these are toys for kids. Take some time to clean them, or perhaps remove this play area altogether."
