"This hotel has a unique and beautiful style, quite different from most hotels out there. The room decor feels grand yet elegant, understated but luxurious. It's really cozy and comfortable to stay in. The room was also very clean, and the toiletries provided were quite refined. On the second-floor hallway, there's even a spot to brew and enjoy tea, where you can lean against the railing, listen to the wind, sip tea, and admire the clouds. The hotel is also very close to the ancient city; you can easily walk there while exploring. It was a really great stay, and I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Weishan!"
Xishe Boutique Inn
"The biggest surprise of my Weishan trip was the 'Xishe' guesthouse! The entire courtyard is charmingly antique, with a truly unique design where every step reveals a new beautiful view. Sunbathing on the wooden veranda upstairs was incredibly therapeutic. Not only is the environment stunning, but the hospitality is also exceptional. The landlady is warm, generous, and incredibly elegant. During our stay, she helped us with many small daily issues, making us feel like we were visiting old friends – so warm and thoughtful. Finally, I have to give a special shout-out to the front desk lady: while relaxing at the guesthouse, I heard her playing songs by Chang Chen-yue and Stefanie Sun! They're all my favorite artists, her taste is simply divine! Listening to my favorite tunes in such a beautiful courtyard truly set the perfect ambiance. Full recommendation, I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Weishan!"

"If you have any questions during check-in, you can contact the guesthouse owner directly; they respond quite promptly. The room has disposable towels and bath towels, as well as a place to dry clothes. There's also a small potted plant. The location is near the city gate. When booking, be aware of SMS blocking; the guesthouse's phone number was blocked when I booked."

"When we checked in, I mentioned wanting to check out the room types, and they showed us the same type on the top floor. I really liked the small terrace next to it and asked if we could stay upstairs. The staff said that the room rates in Weishan had gone up the day before our check-in, now it was 410 yuan per room. I didn't think much of it at the time and paid the difference. But, looking at the online platforms now, the hotel doesn't have any rooms for 410 yuan."

"I prioritized access from the station to go to Weibao Mountain. However, I was able to walk to the ancient city, which was very enjoyable. As other reviews have said, the bathroom door didn't close, the water was very lukewarm, and the room was cold because it didn't have air conditioning. The toilet was not Western-style. The room itself was clean and just as shown in the photo. The front desk staff were very friendly."

"The bathroom was clean and tidy, the environment was nice, and the service was good. The only downside was that I couldn't find a place to hang my face towel in the entire bathroom. The slippers were only disposable. They should have provided plastic slippers like other hotels do, so they could be worn in the shower. Disposable slippers are easy to slip on when wet."

"I was planning a trip to Weishan and initially wanted to stay in a traditional courtyard house, but after comparing several options, I decided to stay at a chain hotel. The quality and service are guaranteed, and it's clean and hygienic. This one is also relatively new, having just opened recently. The owner and staff are warm and polite, and the facilities are complete, including a laundry room and a food delivery robot. It's excellent value for money! I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I'm in Weishan."
