When I checked in that afternoon, the first thing I saw upon entering was a fake eyelash, probably from the previous guest's checkout, stuck to the air purifier. The headboard was dusty, and the bedside table was covered in dust! I figured it didn't matter since I was only staying one night, so I didn't say anything. That night, I closed the doors and windows to rest, but lying down felt like lying on a curb—there was absolutely no soundproofing! I could hear every car passing by and people talking on the street! I thought it would get better after a while, but it remained like that until the next morning. In the morning, there were even women chatting at the door. I hadn't slept all night, and my head was throbbing! When I got downstairs, I complained to the front desk, saying the room wasn't soundproof and I hadn't slept well the night before. Her first response was, "Yes, our rooms aren't soundproof because they're next to the street. We thought you liked the noise! ​​And you booked a cheap room, so it's like this." First, when I booked, there was only one room left. Second, they didn't inform me that the room wasn't soundproof upon check-in. Third, I checked the prices of other rooms, and they were only 10-20 yuan different from mine. Does that mean that because I booked a cheaper room, I should be staying in a room without soundproofing?
