Great location and d spacious apartment style rooms. My family of four loved having the space to relax after a long day of touristy things. Grounds are well kept and safe. Didn’t like the fact that we didn’t get room service throughout. The pool is really fun for kids, just wish they had a hot tub as well.

Great location, great resort! Staff helpful and quick to respond. Located close to Busch Gardens, Water Country, restaurants, but not surrounded by other hotels, so nice and quiet. Pool is really neat, easily used by both families and adults without kids. Would stay here again in a heartbeat! Batteries in our door died, so our key card didn’t work. Within 10 minutes of informing them, they had it fixed and we were in our room. Room was completely stocked for all 6 of us.

We own at a different (gold crown) resort and decided to spend a week in Williamsburg for a vacation. The units at Parkside are very nice but you should know a few things before you book. 1) They are apartment-style with three floors, so you will have people beside/above you depending on where your unit is. 2) The resort sits across a highway from railroad tracks which are used by both Amtrak (high speed) and CSX (freight) at all hours. They blow their horns when they come into Williamsburg and it is VERY loud. 3) The resort is also across the highway from Busch Gardens (a theme park). During the summer, you will have fireworks every night around 9:15. This is great if you like them, but after 6 nights, it got tiresome for us. 4) Our wifi was very slow. (2.5 mbps). It was free but "we got what we paid for". I would much rather pay a few dollars a day and have decent wifi. When I asked them about it, they told me "my unit was furthest from the router". In my home resort (Massanutten), EVERY unit has a router, so you have great wifi everywhere. Those issues aside, the unit was very nice. The furnishings and beds were first rate. The service is also great and everyone made supreme effort to make us happy. Overall, I would recommend it if it's for you.

Fantastic place to stay when visiting all the historical places. Full kitchens and laundry appliances. Easy access to the grocery store. Bed was very comfortable. Bbqs available. Huge parking lot and could park my rv there. Swimming pool wasn't yet open. Sad

Thanks for a great experience - very comfortable, clean and quiet. The playground was nice - the kids loved it? Nice pool, grills placed around the resort, friendly staff, helpful, VERY close to Busch Gardens!

Absolutely stunning rooms/ furniture and kitchen appliances. Didn’t wanna leave the room. Fireplace was a great add on too! Stayed on ground floor,- so was an easy access to a patio area.. would definitely recommend!

The resort staff is friendly and helpful. The location is convenient to many area activities. The workout and gaming area are among the best of resorts we have stayed at. The unit was nicely furnished and designed. Each bedroom had a TV. Three drawbacks are: 1. The train track right across the street - not too bad, but noticeable.; 2 - The sound of other guests is a bit annoying. Music, walking, snoring, etc. can be heard from the guest above the unit and beside the unit; 3 - There was no channel guide for the TV and the QR code one did not agree with the TV.
