I was a little nervous to stay here after recent reviews, I'm not sure if I was lucky with the room I got or if others look for more to complain about...but I could fault it. I have previously stayed at the Avanti Hotel but recent reviews there put me off staying. Yes the rooms are dated, most of these motel type hotels are, but the room was spotless which to me is the most important thing. We had taken some wipes to clean down surfaces etc just to be cautious but every wipe came up clean, top marks! Everything in the room worked as expected, fridge was good as was the microwave. Excellent location, we didn't use the pool but it looked good. Only slight issue was the Hurricane, the fire alarm went off twice as a false alarm...but these things happen. & there was some water leakage into the room from the door, which by our last day had caused a not very pleasant smell. But I'm not blaming the hotel for this & I assume they would have had a way to resolve this had we been staying longer & mentioned it! Our room was in block 3000, top floor facing the pool, no issues with noise - I doubt any room facing the pool would have an issue. Good view from the top floor too over to Volcano Bay. Happy to recommend the hotel for couples, families etc. I'd certainly be happy to stay here again for a future Orlando holiday!

Double trees always a nice hotel to stay at and the free cookies and check in or whenever you ask are always a delightful treat. For this day we found that there was really nothing around the hotel itself as far as other restaurant choices although it’s very close to universal and they have a shuttle bus which was convenient, we ended up moving to a location nearby that had many more restaurants around, the rooms were clean the pool areas. Nice the restaurants food was good although a little pricey if you would like to use the pool areas, I think this could be an excellent choice.

We had read good things about this hotel and thought we would give it a try. It’s in a good spot for Universal Studios, it has free parking and a free shuttle to Universal if you need it. There are lots of restaurants within walking distance and the Premium outlets are not too far away. We didn’t use the hotel restaurant but one of us did have a Hotdog one day which resulted in them not being able to leave the toilet for a few hours! The lady who prepared it heated the frozen sausage up in the oven then put it straight into a freezing cold, straight from the fridge bun, then she said “ oh the buns really cold, could you heat it up in the microwave?!”. I have to say that during our stay we had the worst customer service we have had in any hotel we have stayed in in Florida. When we checked in the guy at reception was not overly friendly and when we checked out I went to the desk and asked the lady if we needed to do anything to check out, she said “ what room number?” then “no”. I thanked her and she completely ignored me and put her hand out for the door cards. No “ thank you for staying here/ have a safe flight home, etc. She just stared at me. It’s definitely worth paying a couple of hundred pounds more and you will definitely get a much better hotel with much better service. We were very disappointed.

• We wanted a hotel that would suffice for a one night stay before heading to the airport after our universal Orlando vacation. They do have a shuttle to universal studios, but I did not inquire about the times because we would not be using it. This is because we stayed at the royal pacific to get the express passes, which are good for the duration of your stay as well as your check in and check out date. Since the royal pacific hotel is on the pricy side, on our last day we checked out of the royal pacific and checked into this Fairfield Marriott to save some money on our last night and since it is very close to universal studios. The front desk employee was extremely friendly and helpful. The only weird thing to me is that when they go to charge the deposit, for some reason it alerts your credit card as a fraud charge and you have to respond to the text message that it is not a fraud in order for the deposit to get charged. She says this happens “every time”. I think it’s a little weird that whatever way they use to charge deposits triggers a fraud alert on everyone’s credit card “every time”. I am a marriot bonvoy member and I have never experienced this before at any other hotels. Nevertheless, the charges went through correctly, and I was charged the right amount at the end of the stay. We reserved two rooms and we were put next to each other which was nice (although not connecting rooms, which is fine because we didn’t really need it or request it). The rooms are very spacious, tons of room everywhere. You can tell the hotel has had its fair share of wear and tear, but it didn’t feel low quality. They have breakfast in the lobby in the morning. It is mostly a continental breakfast with the exception of premade omelets. So if you don’t like omelets, your choices are limited. However if you do like omelets you are in luck because the omelets were really good. There are other things like muffins, bagels, bread/toast, fruit, yogurt, and cereal. Be sure to get the passion orange guava juice from the machine because it’s so good. Because it was so good it ran out during breakfast and it took quite a while for it to be refilled. It was an adequate breakfast before we had to head to the airport. Overall I would recommend this hotel as you get a pretty good bang for your buck here with spacious rooms, included breakfast, friendly employees, and proximity to universal studios.

Suitable for children, parking is free, breakfast is slightly worse, no meat patties or sausages, both dishes are scrambled eggs, others are similar. Quality hotel rooms are clean and odor free The bathroom is clean and tidy. The Tampa Orange County and Universal Orlando Studios, which have stayed at Quality Chain Hotel, feel good and the quality of the hotel is stable and satisfactory.

If you have breakfast, the number of guests is based on the number of guests. The location of the hotel is convenient for travel. The extra bed is the size of the room. If there is an extra bed, you can have an extra bed.

Elijah excellent take care of service and family. Very good bar an food service and options for order are variable for all people order and wanted. I request to put in TV the baseball game and Elijah complete my request. Excellent

Stayed here for 2 nights and my stay was perfect. I like the location on the west side of town, easy drive to retail and restaurants. They were able to check me in early, the pool/hottub area is nice and the breakfast buffet is outstanding. They had fruit, cereal, eggs, variety of breads, waffles, yogurt and juices. The room was what you would expect, small fridge and microwave. Everything worked as expected. I was very pleased overall.

Booked 2 rooms: a family one for 5 of us, and a small room for 2. The girl at the front desk sent us 5 to the small room. I realized her mistake after arriving with the whole family and luggage at the 8th floor in building 8 at the other end of the hotel. Had to get all luggage back to the car, go to front desk, change room keys...all of this after long traveling was not fun at all.

We have stayed at the hotel before, this is the 2nd time we have stayed. We stayed for 10 days in total. Mixed reviews - When we arrived as we had separate bedrooms, we all needed to check in individually, my brother was right next to my mum and dad in tower 1 and I was put all the way in a separate tower. Common sense would’ve been to put us all together. My mum wasn’t too happy about this and went to reception with me, baring in mind the person she spoke to when she checked in said how unbelievably quiet they are. The lady me and my mum spoke to at reception, shoulder length black hair, small in height, was very ****y, didn’t want to help us whatsoever, said how they are extremely busy they are unable to do this, okay, very mixed considering we’ve just been told how quiet the hotel is, must not care about anyone else’s safety apart from her own. I hope this lady doesn’t keep her job, she doesn’t know the meaning of good customer service. Hotel is very loud, meant to be a budget hotel but need a loan for the food. Walls are paper thin, can hear everything of what’s going on next door. So yeah, if you want to stay in a loud hotel, lazy moody staff with expensive food, cleaners that barely clean your room, then go ahead.
