Nice hostel, clean and pretty convenient. Staff is nice, location is good.

The place is a bit hard to find, it's located on the 4th floor of the shopping mall. There's a food court on the ground floor, and you reach the hostel via the elevator.
The rooms were clean, but one of the showers was broken. My biggest complaint would be the toilets; the toilets are located outside the hostel (you need to go through the reception and out to the common hallway) next to the elevator and are free to use for everyone.

Well-located, friendly staff, room was nice - would recommend for budget-conscious travellers to Xiamen

Overall the hostel isn’t bad. It’s a good area of the city but can be a bit hard to find. My real complaint is the restroom, they don’t have their own and share it with other businesses. There’s also no toilet paper and only squat seats.

I would not recommend this hostel for foreign travellers. The room is clean enough but the bathrooms were really bad. The toilet was dirty (the bin was overfull, dirty floor, toilets hadn't been flushed, smelt very bad) and there were only squat toilets. It seemed like they hadn't been maintained and as they were by the elevator were open to the public. In the shower cubicles there is nowhere to hang your clothes without them getting wet and one of the taps was broken.
The location is good but the standard of cleanliness and the amenities were poor.

Comfortable beds and spacious room (for 4). The receptionist was really nice and could speak English. Great shared space to meet people or work. The toilets (separated from the showers) could be cleaner though.

Great place near lots of good food. Didn't have any trouble checking in as a foreigner. The staff was extremely helpful and helped me get a SIM card as well as book a ferry ticket. They did a great job and I'm very thankful.
