"The hotel's location is great, which is why I booked it. The listed room size is big, but the bedroom itself is quite small, while the living area is huge. The layout is a bit odd. Breakfast selection is limited; there were only two types of congee. At 9:42 AM, I was told they were closing soon and to grab more food if I wanted. This is the first time I've encountered such a situation. The guy at the front desk was handsome and very considerate, acting quickly to help guests."

"Centrally located, the price is very favorable, but I don't understand why there is no mineral water or facial tissues, how much does it cost, and there is no air conditioning in the breakfast hall, I was sweating while eating."
Holiday Inn Express XINING RAILWAY STATION by IHG
"This Hotel went over and beyond to provide us with an excellent service. Marco at the reception helped us in finding things we needed online and to be delivered at our room...in less than one hour! We had a minor issue with the toilet but Marco made someone to fix it in 5 minutes. Also, a driver was made available to bring us to the train station, all this thanks to Marco who organized this for us. We recommend this Hotel 100% if you are staying in Xining. Thanks to Marco and the staff of the Holiday Inn Express Xining Railway Station."
New Century Hotel Xining Qinghai
"I am a little disappointed. Advertising said English speaking staff. One lady spoke some English but mainly used translator - which is fine - but communication was very difficult. I experienced the following issues: The room was extremely hot and it seems it’s centrally controlled. When I said it was too hot they didn’t adjust it but gave me a humidifier which didn’t help with temperature. When I was checking out I asked to help to call the taxi - their initial response was to walk - 15min. I have 3 heavy bags and am also feeling sick so I didn’t want to walk. I asked again later - they just said hi to the bus stop and get a taxi. I was surprised that they couldn’t be bothered to down with me and get one for me - knowing that I can’t speak Chinese - it’s few minutes of their time. They were standing around not doing anything anyway. So very disappointed overall. One positive is that they packed me a small takeaway breakfast for fist morning when I had to leave early. Please try to help your guests - small gestures of care makes a big difference!"

"The front desk staff, Irene and Lisa, were very warm and attentive, and David, in particular, was extremely friendly and helped us with our luggage to the room. After checking in, the service staff, Ma Zhimei, gave us some local specialty yogurt as a welcome gift. This was our second stay here during this trip, and the experience was as good as ever."

"I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Xining! It's super close to the train station and only 20 minutes from the airport! The most important thing is that the environment is incredibly clean and comfortable – a germaphobe's dream! It even has air conditioning, which is really rare for hotels in Xining. Although I stayed for two days and didn't feel cold at all, so I never even turned it on. (P.S. The cleaning lady is so thoughtful! On my first day, I didn't know how to use the disposable toilet seat cover, so I just left it aside. When I came back the next day, I found that she had set up a new one for me! 🥳)"

"I set up a parent-child suite, there are two rooms, one big bed, two small beds, the room is far from the elevator, quiet, stayed for two nights, the first night of the stay also sent fruit, that is, the quilt is a bit thick, the cover is a bit hot, not covered and a bit cold, so I didn’t sleep well, the customer service attitude was very good, The voices are more gentle, smiling, and the overall is good."

"Have fluffy pillows, spacious room and toilet, very clean too. Location is near the railway station, so quite convenient. No air-conditioning, but luckily the nights were cooling. Windows were quite small to let the cool air in though."

"Facilities: The parent-child themed room we stayed in was great. We could solve puzzles and get a small gift, which made the kids very happy. Hygiene: Very clean, no strange smells, no air fresheners or smoke. Environment: The lobby is very spacious. Service: The service was excellent and prompt. We received yogurt and welcome fruit when checking in. The shower pressure was decent, so showering was good. Being on the 40th floor, it was very quiet."

"I have to say, the value for money here is absolutely insane! For this location and these amenities, the price is incredibly affordable. The gym is small but the equipment is brand new, and the room was spotlessly clean. Plus, the mini-bar soft drinks are free, and the room is super cozy with a perfect decor style. Highly recommend!"
LUXURY BLUE HORIZON Grand Hotel (Xining High-Speed Railway Station)
"We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights. The hotel is just opposite Xining Train Station and is quite convenient for transportation. The hotel room was clean but having cigarette smell even though I requested for non smoking room. The safe in the room was not working and the bathroom drainage was blockage. Most of the hotel staff here are not friendly and helpful. I would stay in other hotel if I visit to Xining again."

"The location is great, but one should reserve a room with a view to the main square. Breakfast was great for western standards in Ch. Taxis easy to fetch. We would go there again if needed."

"The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful and spoke English. They helped us receive our Tibet Travel Permit and organised us cooking ware, as this was not provided with the room. We also could do our laundry and got plenty of free water, as well as free coffee in the cafe shop in the lobby. It was very comfortable!"

The hotel's design style is distinctive, with every detail showcasing taste and artistry. It left a stunning impression the moment I walked in! They even gave me a 'peace apple' upon check-in, which was a thoughtful gesture. Shortly after checking in, they called to inquire about my stay and any needs I might have. "This hotel experience was fantastic! The location is great, not far from the train station, and close to attractions and food streets, making getting around super convenient. The room was very clean, and the bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The bathroom was clean and odor-free, and the toiletries were of good quality. She even went the extra mile to recommend restaurants at the nearby Wuyue Plaza and provided directions to Mojia Street. Knowing I'm sensitive to noise, she thoughtfully arranged a quiet room further inside, which was incredibly considerate. The hotel facilities are new and spotlessly clean, and the location is super convenient for getting around. Thanks to Julie's attentive and thoughtful service, my trip was so much more comfortable.
