You can book different hiking routes directly at the front desk, so even beginners in sneakers don't need to worry. The guesthouse has plenty of common areas; it's a great place to spend a quiet day enjoying coffee and reading. I hiked the 2-day route alone, and the guesthouse owner readily helped me find a car to pick me up from Gasa, a shuttle bus, or directions to Kunming Airport. The restaurant there is also quite good and offers great value."
