This is an amazing hotel to stay in Yangshuo. The staff does not speak english, but helps all they can and uses translation apps. The breakfast is chinese, think noodles! The hotel also has electric scooters for rent (30 yuan) and mountainbikes (huge recommend, 35 yuan for the day). All in all, an amazing stay with clean rooms and an awesome spot!

Location was great - the famous Xijie was just around the corner. Room was decent in size and reasonably clean. Staff were quite helpful. It was good value for it’s price.

Stayed in Zen VIP room on the 6th floor. It was exactly how it was described and we loved it!
None of the receptionists speaks English but one of them in particular is extremely kind and helpful. Use your translation app to converse and communicate unless one of your people speaks Chinese. We are American/Japanese mixed family and our daughter assisted us as a translator (she takes Chinese at school). For Guilin and Yangshuo, it’s not easy without Chinese. I highly recommend staying at a hotel with English speaking receptionists unless you or someone in your group speaks Chinese to maximize the stay (or hire a guide).
The breakfast is only 15 RMB and it’s super simple Chinese food. If you want western style, you must stay at a different hotel.
They have rental bikes but they run out fast
Overall, this hotel was amazing for us. The room, location, kind receptionist and room cleaning lady. The pictures are taken from our room. Highly recommend this for the right people. .

The staff was very helpful and even arranged a pick-up taxi for me to bring me to the hotel at night. As my booking was very short notice (just one day before my arrival), I am especially greatly to the staff’s flexibility, booking all tickets for the national park for me and also arranging the taxi from Zhangjiajiexi. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you. :)

This place is clean, modern, very well located, and with an amazing customer service. A lady from the reception helped me getting a cab to the bus station, and even paid for it, to my surprise, without allowing me to pay back (I was on a rush and the app used in China was not working). I cannot be more grateful. Thank you, an do not hesitate about booking in this place when visiting Yangshuo.

* So kind and helpful owners/employees who went out of their way to help me with some things (laundry, booking some excursions or tickets...etc)
* The hotel is strategically located near West Street with many restaurants and bars nearby

The location of the hotel is very good. The staff are very helpful. One of the staff even help me booking a Didi ride. The hotel is also very reasonably priced.

The location of the hotel can easily confuse you if you don't look at the address. The names of the hotel 西街里，九号，(in English No. 9 West Street inside). First thing is confuse you that the Hotel is located at West Street inside. Instead, the hotel is at the main road, before entering the West Street, it is somewhere near the opposite side of the overhead bridge .
