The hotel is old and the room is a bit small for 4 persons. But free parking and breakfast with the price is very good.

Great friendly staff and service. Location is ok approx. 15 min from town centre - hotel had to call a local taxi as no Ubers would pick up in the area. Park and ride available nearby. Shopping centre and designer outlet nearby. Breakfast included with room and refreshments including an ice machine available 24/7. Nice and comfy standard rooms, in a quiet area so had a great nights sleep!

Hotel was not in city centre which made for a relaxing break. Toby carvery situated next door which was convenient for evening meal.

Can’t state what this hotel was like as decided not to stay at it. Location was not suitable as too far outside York city centre.
No refund given as I booked it on the day of stay
Don’t trust the postcode advertised as doesn’t take you anywhere near the hotel. Rang their reception and they gave me an alternative one that took me too it. Wasted an hour of my life - no apology from hotel. They blamed by sat Nav saying wasn’t updated

No lift, difficult to carry luggage up to the room. Stayed in same brand hotel in Manchester which was much better on service, amenities and breakfast. Room pretty small.
