The rooms are quite dated and ours wasn’t very clean.  On our 2nd day we went out at 9.30am and arrived back at the hotel at 16.30pm only to find our room had not been made up. The staff knocked on the door at approximately 5pm to make the room up. The evening meals we had were very good. Breakfast was good but had a long wait for it to arrive"

"It's a small independent building with a yard at the back for free parking. There's a bar downstairs that seems to be open until quite late. It feels a bit like a family hotel. Open the window (the old-fashioned one that opens upwards like you see in movies and TV) and you can see the street view and residential buildings outside. It's also a different experience."

"I booked two rooms. One of them was very spacious, and the beds were really comfortable. The shower had great water pressure and was nice and hot. The location is excellent, right across from the train station. My train was at 8:20 AM, and I could leave the hotel at 8:05 AM and still make it. Fantastic!"
