First impression entering the hotel; lack of the typical Hilton scent, and overall 5 star appearance. The lobby has several stands promoting things I can’t tell what is was in Chinese. This is typical in many Chinese hotels but it lacks the 5 star ambiance. Furthermore, near the lobby bar is a nice dessert cabinet filled with Pepsi and mineral water….why? and next to the entrance some ridiculous game boxes that makes no sense. The room was ok, good size and no issues, good cleaning. The pool was ok too but with a small and rather boring gym next door. The dinner buffet was good and for the price which included free flow of a SA mediocre red wine and beer nothing much to complaint about. The poorest part was breakfast and that was depressing, especially for someone expecting a bit of western and Hilton quality, bread selection poor. It’s ok to have a limited selection but at least make the limited selection good and fresh og the day, don’t serve 2 days old bread, that is unacceptable.

I stayed 4 nights and the best thing of this hotel is the location: on top of Sanqingshan, next to the Waishuangxi Cableway (literally 5 min walking from the exit). From here I could wake up early in the mornings and have long days to slowly explore the entire mountain and appreciate every single area, and relax in the evenings just sitting in front of the hotel (beautiful view along the valley). Second best thing of this hotel is the owner, very helpful for anything I needed, and even with my little Chinese he managed very well everything I asked, and also his wife with her nice breakfasts, so service was good. Facilities are also good, considering that it is on top of the mountain and the price paid. I would definitely back to this hotel in other seasons to enjoy Sanqingshan!

The environment is very good, and the boss is very enthusiastic. We couldn't find the way on the way there, but the boss patiently showed us the way. At night, we can lie on the bed and watch the stars. I personally think it is more comfortable than the tent. The boss will also plan the route for us, and there is a place for washing. The place is highly recommended and the location is easy to find. It is very convenient to watch the sunrise and sunset.

My first experience with a camping tent was much better than I imagined. The tent is relatively new and very large, enough to sleep a family of three. The quilt doesn't look old, but because the weather in the south is too humid, moisture condensation at night will inevitably cause mold spots on the quilt. There weren't many bugs. There were basically none inside the tent and not many around. The boss was very nice and provided unlimited hot water. He also reminded us to move the tent to an empty spot next door to prevent us from snoring. The scenery is as shown in the picture. To watch the sunrise, you can climb up for 3/5 minutes to get a wider view. The following is a summary of experience: 1: If you can bring a large bed cover, you can put the quilt on or directly slip into your own quilt cover and cover it with the quilt, which will greatly improve the comfort. 2: Check in advance whether the air cushion is inflated, as well as the pillow part. If it is not inflated, it must be inflated in advance (but the inflating port seems to only be blown by mouth. I don’t know if there is any other way. I can only wipe it with alcohol and disinfect it and then blow it by yourself. Well, it would be better if there were other ways) to sleep comfortably. 3. It may not be cold when you first fall asleep, but as the temperature drops, the humidity increases, and water vapor condenses, it will get colder and colder, so you need to cover yourself with a sleeping bag/quilt. Be prepared in advance. In addition, you can put a bag between the headrest and the tent cloth to separate it, otherwise the tent cloth will slowly condense water vapor and make your hair wet. 4. Check in advance whether there are any items around the tent that may be blown down or knocked over by the wind, and move them in advance to prevent the wind from blowing up in the middle of the night. 5. Secondly, the hotel is very clean. The housekeeping lady is very meticulous when cleaning. Even the dead spots in the corners are cleaned up, which is great! I will stay at this hotel again when I come to Sanqingshan again. A very satisfying stay experience!

The biggest advantage of the hotel is that it is very close to the mountain cableway. You can take the hotel elevator to the fifth floor and walk about 100 meters to the entrance of the scenic spot. The hotel looks good, but the furniture and facilities are a bit old and the lights are dim. There are not many varieties of breakfast, but it is enough. The hotel officially claims to have Taoist connotations. I have a deep understanding of this from the hotel decoration, courtyard, aisles, especially the aisle leading to the restaurant (Figure 5 and Figure 6). Highly recommend this hotel.

Pros: Great location, the lady at the front desk was very welcoming, the room is very spacious and the bed is very comfortable, The soundproofing is very good. Cons: no bottled water in the rooms, also at times no water came out of the taps and if water did come out then it was brown. However, the second day they did send someone to fix it, but it was still very weak afterwards.

I had paid attention to this hotel before, but it hadn't opened yet. This week I changed my plan and came to Sanqingshan. I happened to find it on Qunar, so I quickly made a reservation. Because I was alone, the front desk helped me change to a double bed room. It has just opened and is still in trial operation. Advantages: 1. The room is clean, tidy and has a strong sense of design. 2. The shampoo and body wash are all from foreign brands. The body wash smells good and facial cleanser is also provided. 3. The toilet is smart. It feels so happy to sit on a hot toilet seat in cold weather. 4. There is a bathtub for taking a bath, but I didn’t use it. 5. The bedding is made of cotton and linen, very similar to the MUJI I bought at home. The mattress is very soft and the pillows are high-rebound. I slept very well. 6. With floor heating, you are not afraid of the cold in autumn and winter. You can sit by the bed and make tea. 📍Location: Next to Sanqing Palace, to watch the sunset go to the nearby Purple Smoke Stone (5 minutes walk) for a beautiful sunset. You can also see the Purple Smoke Stone at sunrise, but it's a bit inferior to the sunset. You can also go to nearby sunrise viewing spots to see it. It’s also great to watch the stars at night. There is no light pollution and the starry sky is very beautiful. There are many photos you can take with your mobile phone. 🗺️Route: 1. When going up the mountain, take the Jinsha Cableway up the mountain and walk in the direction of Sanqing Palace. It takes more than 2 hours to walk quickly and more than 3 hours slowly. There are few steps and many plank roads, making it easy to walk. 🥰Especially the road from Yusonglin to Sanqing Palace. There are no people around after 3 o'clock in the afternoon. The view is wide and very beautiful! It's my favorite stretch of road. 2. When going down the mountain from the Shuangxi Cableway, there are stairs all the way and there are few trails. It made me doubt my life. If you want to go up the mountain, choose the Jinsha Cableway. 🍲Catering: 1. Because everything on the mountain is lifted manually, the price is a bit more expensive, but the food is delicious. You can dine in the hotel, including noodles, stir-fries, set meals and hot pot. The last picture is the dinner I ordered, it was delicious! 2. The room I booked includes breakfast, including porridge, eggs, steamed buns and side dishes. A good breakfast will make you energetic for a day of hiking.
