"I arrived at the hotel in the afternoon, and it was quite hot! I told the front desk the air conditioning wasn't working! The room temperature remained between 25-26 degrees Celsius! I even left my room key in before going out to run errands, but when I came back in the evening, it was still the same! I also found mosquitoes in the room at night! It was too hot to cover myself with the blanket, but too cold to leave it on! I didn't sleep well at all! Hotels are supposed to be places for guests to sleep; if they can't even provide a good night's rest, what kind of hotel is that?"

You see signs everywhere for shuttle buses and restrooms, but none are operational yet, so the only way to get to the guesthouse is by taxi or your own car. "For our trip to the Huaxi Canyon Bridge in Guizhou, we rented a car in Guiyang and drove there ourselves. Staying at the Banqiao Huayu Buyi Intangible Cultural Heritage Themed Guesthouse in Xiaohuajiang Village was very convenient for visiting the bridge. The guesthouse owner was very welcoming and talkative, helping us with our luggage upon arrival. Breakfast was served at the guesthouse, although lunch and dinner weren't included, the restaurants recommended by the owner were quite good; the local beef and free-range chicken were of excellent quality. The rooms were clean and had private bathrooms. In the evening, the owner took us to see a projection movie on the bridge's waterfall, which was a very interesting experience. The guesthouse's second-floor rooftop offers a direct view of the bridge; at night, with the lights off and the stars twinkling, it felt like being immersed in the vast Milky Way. Particularly interesting was that the owner is an intangible cultural heritage inheritor, and he taught us tie-dyeing. Under his guidance, a tie-dye piece quickly appeared before our eyes, making us feel like instant artisans. Our pleasant trip ended quickly, and we wish the guesthouse owner great success in his business! May the villagers of Xiaohuajiang Village live better and better lives!"

"The hotel's location is incredibly remote; taxis are hard to find, and there are no shops nearby, so you can only get takeout if you need anything. 🙃 The soundproofing is terrible. The hotel is right on the roadside, and you can hear every passing car accelerate, not to mention trucks and horns. I was woken up at 1:30 AM by people talking next door, and with their talking and snoring, I didn't fall back asleep until 5 AM. Then someone checked in, and I could hear them showering perfectly. I asked the hotel for earplugs, but they didn't have any, saying they'd report it to their manager. I had to contact Ctrip customer service to change to a room on an empty floor. If they had empty floors, why didn't they just put people checking in at night on those floors? And why didn't they stagger room assignments if the soundproofing is so bad? And they don't even provide earplugs! Outrageous! The charging ports in the hotel are incredibly slow, even though it's supposed to be fast charging, it's twice as slow as at home. It's 2025, and the hotel still wants a 100 RMB deposit!"

"Although the room I stayed in was smaller than the one I booked (the owner was doing roof insulation work), the overall experience was still quite good.
