Sheraton Zhoushan Hotel

Good location near the ferry terminal, buffet limited choices if you go for dinner around 21:00

Room smell humidity not good ventilation. Breakfast was good.

Good location but hotel is old

The hotel’s location is excellent and especially preferred when participating the bicycle event. The hotel management was very kind to allow a late check-out to allow participants of the event to check out after it finished. They also provides some snacks.

I spent 3 nights in Sheraton Zhoushan Hotel. Service is really good, staff is polite and competent (English speak as well). Restaurant is really good, for breakfast and for dinner as well (buffet style with fresh fish). BUT I gave 1 Star to facilities since I choose this hotel for the beautiful (on picture from the website) outdoor pool, but with my big surprise, it was not available, just few cm of water and the bottom of the pool was slimy..... Staff said that since last year pool is not available and used just for small child with inflatables. Towel service also not available. I really think that this detail should be remarked in the website otherwise people can be misled (like me)

Okay for a short stay

This is the first time I stayed at the Sheraton Zhoushan Hotel. I came here in September and the outdoor swimming pool was not available and without water but indoor swimming pool is working.The rooms are neat and clean, the air-conditioning is great, and the decoration is a bit old. Breakfast is good. the room service is not good enough.

We had a good time in Zhoushan ,breath of fresh air and very polite people. The surroundings outside were lovely with a lot of greenery and place to walk in the evenings. The hotel is also close to a mall which was a walking distance and we found a reasonable western restaurant. I loved the bathtub and the view from our room. Breakfast was not bad either. However,After looking at reviews,I saw one saying pool was not working. I called to confirm and I was given a vague reason for this. However to my surprise,I was overjoyed to see it open when we got there. The outside one not fully filled and inside was much better.From first glance ,the hotel looked great…met my expectations from glance…then got to our room. In this hot weather the first thing we did was turn on the AC and it was not working. We called to report this and we were told that someone is coming. We waited for a while and no one came,and second time around we were told the person got busy though someone is coming.finally we went down and we were changed to another room with a working AC. Tv was not connected,had to call again and someone was sent to fix this. The place is fairly old and not well maintained. Facilities are in place,however not operational or not well maintained. The bar is there,though not operational,they had to find us beers somewhere else.Italian restaurant is there but there is not an operational Italian restaurant.. One of the other issues was a musty smell along the hallways and rooms,this really irritated my nose. It’s a very unpleasant heavy smell that can’t be avoided. It’s even on the linen,it was not nice sleeping in the linen at all.I’m definitely not booking at the same hotel again if I come back,because it’s not Sheraton standard at all. I was disappointed but tried to make the most of our time there.

We chose that hotel because of the beautiful outdoor swimming pool reported in the website, but then it was not available and without water. If I knew it was not available, I would have chosen another hotel, with much better location and even cheaper
