"This isn't our first time staying at Xilai Lodge, but this visit was truly horrifying. We found such a huge centipede! The hotel's handling of the situation was also very simplistic – they just moved us to another room. Because it was so late and we were rushing, my friend's Pandora earrings went missing. Although the hotel later gave us a gift regarding the earrings, this experience was genuinely terrible for us. It felt incredibly perfunctory."

"1. The most important thing is that the room is not soundproof at all. On the first and second floors of the duplex suite, you can hear the conversation very clearly. If you are traveling as a family, it is best to book two separate rooms. Or a suite in a better hotel 2. The facilities in the room are at the level of an average budget hotel. 3. There is no place to eat or any entertainment facilities below the hotel, both for adults and children. 4. The service is ordinary, not like a high-end hotel. It’s hard to describe, it’s just a feeling. Overall, it's at the level of a budget hotel. The supporting facilities are far from adequate. Is the price good? It's more comfortable than high-end."

"This hotel is very close to Wugongzhi Pier. The owner is super nice; he even personally drove us to the pier in the morning. The place itself is great, clean, tidy, and bright, which makes for a very comfortable stay. The service is excellent. We arrived quite late, so parking was a bit tight, but we still found a spot. The owner even proactively helped us with our luggage."

"Once you open the door, smell of the urine filled the room, It seemed to be the drainage system due to old buildings . Also the toilet door locked by itself in the middle of night and cannot be opened. The staff had to opened it with a tool and informed us to make sure the toilet door must not be closed. The breakfast is quite good but as we are vegetarian, we have limited choice. The front desk female staff is very helpful and help us to book ferry to Putuo Shan. Thank you"

"Some of the pillows were very dirty, and some had obvious marks (I don't know if they were worn through or burned). The front desk staff were very friendly, upgraded our room, and even gave us fruit. However, the pillowcases in the upgraded room were torn, with a hole in them. The air conditioner was also broken; even though it was on cooling mode, the room was consistently very hot, leading us to believe there was underfloor heating. We couldn't sleep all night because it was so hot. We eventually guessed the cooling system was broken and slept with the window open. Although the price wasn't high, using such torn and dirty bedding really shows the hotel's concern. The sheets were also yellowed, which the housekeeping staff said was due to the lighting. I suggest the hotel change the lighting to avoid any misunderstandings."

"I was really impressed on my first visit. I stayed here for three days, and the room was huge with two levels—upstairs was a living area, and downstairs was the bedroom. There was a balcony with a really beautiful view. Even though our room didn’t have a washing machine, the hotel actually provided one for us to use for free. And it was super convenient to order food here. The staff were really excellent—they gave great recommendations and helped with everything. I really loved it and would definitely recommend that if you come to Zhoushan, you should stay here."

The hotel's public areas were clean and tidy, with a simple yet elegant decor. The lighting was perfectly balanced, creating a warm and refined atmosphere. Whether in the lobby lounge or the corridors, everything was spotless, with excellent lighting and ventilation. The overall environment was quiet and pleasant, without any noisy disturbances, ensuring maximum comfort. My room experience was equally great. The room was spacious and bright, with a practical layout. The bedding was soft, skin-friendly, clean, and tidy, and the mattress had just the right firmness, guaranteeing a perfect night's sleep without any discomfort. The room was well-equipped, with the air conditioning and bathroom facilities all functioning normally. The toiletries were of high quality, and the bathroom was clean, odor-free, with proper wet-dry separation. The cleaning staff did a thorough job, even cleaning every corner and crevice. The biggest surprise of my stay, and what I most want to highlight, was the hotel's Executive Lounge. The lounge had an elegant and private atmosphere with exquisite, high-quality decor. The expansive views from the window seats were lovely, and the overall vibe was quiet and therapeutic. It was perfect for relaxing, a quick work break, or chatting with friends. The food and drinks in the lounge were excellent. The afternoon tea offered a rich and refined selection, including desserts, fresh fruit, and freshly ground coffee. The desserts were delicate and not overly sweet, and the drink options were diverse, far exceeding expectations. The evening happy hour was even more delightful, with a wide variety of hot dishes, snacks, and beverages. The food was fresh, delicious, and plentiful, easily satisfying all my dining needs. The handmade ramen, prepared by a chef, was wonderfully springy. It was great to enjoy such satisfying meals without having to go out. Aries, a staff member in the lounge, provided attentive service. She was proactively warm, responsive, and promptly refilled water and cleared plates. Her service was considerate yet unobtrusive, always maintaining a professional and gentle attitude, taking attentive service to the highest level. In addition, the hotel's location was excellent, with convenient transportation and well-developed surrounding facilities, making it ideal for both business travel and leisure. The check-out process was also efficient and quick, without any complicated procedures. The entire stay was smooth and pleasant. This stay, from the environment, rooms, and service to the core executive lounge experience, had no shortcomings. It truly made me feel at home. This will definitely be my first choice for future trips, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to all friends seeking quality accommodation."

"We loved the customer service. Due to gale warning, we arrived a day early. The hotel got a shuttle service to and from Ferry/airport. We arrived late and the weather wasn't the greatest, but the owner were willing to drive us to get food and offer to pickup. After a long day of rushing from one island to another, we much needed a foot massage. Due to the bad weather, the owner was so nice to offer to drive us to a massage parlor and pick us up after. This is some excellent service you don't see often. The hotel doesn't have elevator, but it's not really an issue for us. The rooms were clean and neat. I could see the temple from my room. This place is in a community, but not far from alot of places. It's walking distance to rent a moped, If you could ride a moped, I 100% recommend it. You could use Wechat/Alipay to rent it. We rent it to ride everywhere. It's very safe. I would definitely book with them again and recommend this place to stay if you are planning to visit the island."
