The hotel is within walking distance from the Morioka Shinkansen station, the rooms are spacious and is near the main shopping street with a mall across the street.
Overall very good place but a little difficult to find without maps because the sign on the front is not very big nor well lit. also the main entrance is not where you expect it but below ground level.
Everything is excellent here. The staffs are nice and very helpful, the location across the station is the best for me to walk with a big luggage. The room is neat and clean for having a good resting night. The free space in the 2nd floor that provides many choices of free drink with a good view direct to station is truly amazing. I strongly recommend to stay in this hotel if you happen to visit Morioka. And of course I will stay in this hotel if I come back again to Morioka in the near future.
I stayed here for a quick overnight stop in Morioka and found it very efficient and comfortable.
The hotel is within a five-minute walk of Morioka Station, with plenty of restaurants and izakaya nearby, making it easy to find food at any hour. A major convenience is the direct connection to a 7-Eleven on the ground floor, accessible without going outside—practical, especially at night.
The room is modern, clean, and updated, with a large TV that makes it easy to unwind. On-site parking is available, though it was full on the night I stayed. That said, an NPC parking lot is located directly across the street, so parking was still straightforward.
Overall, this is a solid choice for short stays—well located, modern, and designed for convenience.
I am a US traveler on business. I have visited Kashoen before and based on my experiences it is the only hotel I will ever stay at in Hanamaki.
The hotel staff are the kindest, most caring, and passionate people I have met at a hotel. The amenities are fantastic, the hotel food is phenomenal, and my stay is always relaxing. The rooms are very clean and comfortable.
There is a nice nature trail nearby with a river that is beautiful as well.
If you are in Hanamaki or are looking for somewhere to enjoy a peaceful weekend at, I suggest Kashoen.
The welcome desert is very nice. The dinner is a set course with abalone, beef and also come with buffet choice, it's out of expectation.
The onsen is good. In the evening, there was local dance show.

MMisafir KullanıcıThe location is beautiful and the views from the car park assured us we had chosen well. Check in was helpful and all facilities were fully explained at this time, allowing us to book our dining time.
The room was comfortable and traditional; the view, amazing! With an afternoon of sunshine, time was taken to enjoy the view in a temperature controlled setting. There was a beautiful tea set and tea provided along with some complementary snacks and water. The toiletries provided were lovely and I shall certainly be looking to purchase these for my home.
Dinner was a Chinese style buffet, with an excellent selection of dishes. Barbecues for the table and delicious sashimi and hand prepared sushi. Soups, stews, salad and more! To follow was an assortment of cakes and ice creams. Staff were very helpful and polite and the food was filling and delicious. We then retired to the hotel bar where we were again greeted by a lovely member of staff.
Upon return to our room, futons had been prepared and the room made ready for sleep. These were surprisingly comfortable.
Breakfast was also delicious with a huge array of dishes to choose from. Check out was simple and staff were helpful and polite.
I will definitely be returning!

PPavita JWe had a great experience with the ski trails and facilities—well-maintained and enjoyable. The hotel price is reasonable. The bed wasn’t the most comfortable but still acceptable. The ski-in/ski-out access is a major plus. The shuttle bus makes it easy to get to Lawson for any essentials. The hotel has a dedicated Yamato counter, which is very convenient for sending gear to and from the hotel. However, there are no restaurants outside the hotel, and the dining options inside are quite pricey.
LLanie KirklandA group of four of us booked a cabin on a whim, and I’m so happy we did!! We did a two-day ski trip to Geto Kogen, and I cannot stress enough how convenient these cabins were to the resort itself. We stayed overnight in between two days at the resort. The drive up to the resort was less than 20 minutes. The cabin itself was super cozy, so comfortable, had great amenities for the short time we were there, and the staff were so kind and helpful. Everything was very clean, the heater was already on when we arrived, which was a very thoughtful touch, and we were able to hang all our snow gear to dry thanks to the copious amounts of hangars available. We felt it was a crazy good deal based on the price, location, and availability to book it just a few days in advance. We will definitely be back in the summer to use the grill and go golfing at the country club!
MMDevI stayed at this place during my hike through the Michinoku coastal trail. This is a good choice before you attempt Kurosakiso and Kitayamazaki coast. This can be reached easily from Horinai station. Cross the big bridge and walk a bit more, you can see the sign to the left. The hotel has nice indoor and outdoor onsen. Many locals come here to use the onsen. They probably have annual or life membership to use the onsen. It is a nice opportunity to chat with some of them. When I was there, it was raining and hence I could not enjoy the view, however, using onsen after hiking in the rain was quite relaxing. On a clear day, the ocean can be seen from the room window. Dinner can be ordered and is quite good at a reasonable price. The next day, the hotel shuttle dropped me to the train station which was quite nice, I did not have to walk in rain.

MMisafir Kullanıcıon holidays in Japan, using JR pass ( travelling by train), the location is not that far from the train station (1.3 km - 10 - 15 min walk, easy for me) but there is no public transport. Ideal however if you have a car as is outside of the city center, easy with parking.
The single bed was good, all what I need to rest.
Breakfast was ' nothing special' but hey, its good that it is there ( toasts, jams, yogurt, some potato salad with slice of ham, coffee, milk, apple juice). nearby 7-Eeleven ( for dinner).
Facilities include coin operated laundry, microwave, hot water ( for brewed drinks).
This at the price which was far cheaper on Saturday night than any other hotel, and so if you are budget traveler, all what's needed can be found there
