"Lovely hotel, great staff and a wonderful location. However, there really ought to be a warning to guests regarding parking. Car park is 200 yards up a very, very steep hill and walking up with luggage is "challenging" to even the fittest. Beware! Many thanks to Nicole who arranged a room on the 1st floor and a late check out."

"It was really nice and clean! we got such a big room the “Flat 1”/ number 6 which was so unexpected for the price. Me and my partner were only staying 4 days but it was so nice and open. the music wasnt really a bother at all from the bar downstairs, only thing i would say would be the windows are thin so you could hear very clearly outside, but it wasnt a huge bother to us. didnt see a single other person once the whole time we were there which was fine for us. it was secure and seemed safe, super clean. only gave 1 and a half toilet rolls but wasnt too bothered by this we bought some more anyways. the toilet was separate from the room and then in the room was another door to the shower, there was a random door we didnt have exit to labeled as a fire door which was confusing but not too bad. The photos are blurry as theyre from a video. but i would recommend if youre mostly there for going other places and mostly just to sleep and cool down in the evenings! perfect location to close to everything."

"It's quite old, but after living in the UK, I found that the air conditioning alone beats 90% of hotels in the UK (it's really necessary in the summer, don't listen to those who say it's freezing cold). The downside is that the room is cleaned once every three days, but you should at least change the garbage every day."

"The hotel looked good but when you got inside you felt warm, there is a window, we try to open it, we couldn’t. We thought maybe the temperature would drop down and there are two fans beside.   In fact, I was wrong when we tried to sleep the temperature still very high even use two fans ,it didn’t work because the fan didn’t work well and the hot air always inside (the window couldn’t open). We sweated all the night and couldn’t sleep. I wonder how can be because outside the temperature was 14 degrees and inside the room felt more 28 -30 degrees (the heater was off). We were very disappointed, we liked the room but the strange temperature ruined our stay."
