"My partner and I have stayed at the Dekelia 5 times now, for about 26 nights in total. It's become our home from home when we're visiting family in the area and I love everything about the place. George and his team on the pool bar, George on reception, and all the hotel team are wonderful people. The hotel is in a quiet, peaceful location, with plenty of parking for all the guests. The bedrooms all have balconies and excellent power showers. It's silly to look forward to a particular bed, but I love the Dekelia's Coco-Mat beds and bed toppers. I'm guaranteed to sleep so well here. We always look forward to the varied breakfast, then relax with a coffee on the huge terrace overlooking the pool...and what a pool! We've stayed at many hotels with huge fancy pools, but this one is our favourite. Everything is kept spotlessly clean, the music isn't too loud, the pool bar is well stocked, and it just 'feels' right. The ambience is spot on. Did I mention how wonderful George and his team are? I probably did... : )"

"Budget hillside hotel in Acharnes beneath Mount Parnitha, about 15 km from central Athens; convenient for drivers via Attiki Odos, with free on‑site parking and a quieter suburban setting than downtown. Rooms are spacious for the price, many with balconies and mountain or city views; amenities typically include A/C, fridge, soundproofing, and 24‑hour room service, though décor is dated and maintenance varies by room. Seasonal outdoor pool and basic buffet breakfast add value, but guest feedback often cites inconsistent cleanliness and very simple breakfast quality—manage expectations versus the claimed 4‑star label. Staff are generally described as polite and helpful, making this a value pick for motorists or stopovers; less ideal if prioritizing central sightseeing or modern finishes—request higher floors and renovated rooms when booking."

"There are no words to describe the hotel. Basically needs a complete renovation. Run down building, bathrooms are in a terrible state, rooms are worse. I don't know how the mainstream booking apps still list the hotel as an option. Definitely not recommended, stay away."

"Impeccable staff! Excellent service! The room is spotlessly clean! Every day they came in for cleaning and changing towels! Good mattress! Very nice breakfast, delicious coffee, water if you wanted to make nescafe, milk, cereal, scrambled eggs, pies, eggs, meats, cheeses, 2 kinds of breads, homemade jam, nuts, everything! Very easy and quick access in 2 minutes from the suburban bus station! Free parking! Very good soundproofing! Galaxy and Lidl are a short distance away! Well done well done! It goes without saying that if necessary we will prefer it again!"
