"The hotel itself was fantastic—clean, comfortable, and the staff were friendly and professional. I really enjoyed my stay inside the property. However, the surrounding area was quite noisy on the weekend nights. There were many drunk people around, shouting and making a lot of noise, which affected the overall experience, especially when trying to rest. If you’re planning to stay here, I’d recommend requesting a quieter room or being prepared for some weekend nightlife noise."

"It's a domestic four-star hotel. The foreign man at the front desk has very poor service! He didn't even give me water! I've never seen anything like this! Bath salts cost 10 Australian dollars, and there were no toothbrushes or cotton pads! Breakfast was a single order! There was a Malaysian girl at the front desk who was very nice."

"The hotel was nice, clean and tidy, and the staff were very friendly. Although the hotel was located on the outskirts, Adelaide itself isn't very big. Just a few steps across a lush green lawn, you can catch a free cable car, which takes only a few minutes to reach the city center. Plus, most of the attractions are clustered together, which was quite convenient!"

"We checked into HotelMotel late in the evening and picked up the keys from the reception at Hotel Alba next door. It was a short walk to the motel. The group operates 3 hotels that are adjacent to each other including the Terrace Hotel on South Terrace which is the southern border of Adelaide City. The hotel has rooms on 2 floors surrounding a central carpark on 3 sides. Parking is free for HotelMotel guest whereas guests have to pay extra for secure parking at the other 2 hotels. HotelMotel has been recently renovated and won some awards for its upgrade. There are no lifts and bags need to be carried up a flight of stairs if your room is on the upper floor. The surroundings were very quiet which enabled us to have a good sleep. The room was comfortable and the bathroom modern. We would stay again on our next trip to Adelaide. There are not many options for places to eat late at night except for the Pulteney Pokies place around the corner which had friendly and helpful staff."

"The hotel's location is excellent, right behind a pedestrian street and next to a supermarket. It rained both days we were there, so the mall and covered walkways were a huge convenience. If you don't have a car, there are plenty of bus stops nearby, making it easy to get to the airport. Although it's an Ibis, the hotel has all the basic amenities. The room was small but well-designed. I'd recommend against booking the most basic room type, as it's on a lower floor facing a building, which can feel a bit claustrophobic. I booked a superior room, but arrived late on a weekend when occupancy was super high, so there weren't many rooms left to choose from. As a result, my room wasn't on a high floor and the view was just average. The cleanliness was excellent, and the bed was very comfortable. Because it faces the street, the soundproofing isn't great; a higher floor might be better. The staff were friendly and accommodating. There's no water in the room, you have to go to the first floor to get it, so I just boiled tap water to drink. Overall, it was a satisfactory stay."
