"Photos from the website looked nothing like the room we got e.g dirty switches and dirty walls. Air con worked alright if you slept underneath it as It didn’t reach the bedroom, so a hot 35 degrees outside was similar inside. Finally the lock on the door was very stiff to move my partner couldn’t get it to work. We checked out early"

"The overall experience swings to both extremes — some things were very good, while others were quite disappointing. Good: New and Modern interior design, especially impressive for a motel-rated property. Spacious room with an exceptionally comfortable bed. Wide variety of in-room beverages. Concierge staff were very friendly and helpful. Free parking for motel guests (unlike the sister hotels, which charge $15 for 24 hours). Bad: No self-service laundry — a major drawback for a motel. I had to walk 480m to a public laundromat on first day.. then only learned that we can use laundry service at sister hotel. Poorly designed shower area. The shower platform is higher than the toilet section, causing water to flow out into the toilet area instead of towards the drain — very odd design. Internet is weak, unstable, and slow. If your child wants to play Roblox… forget it. Housekeeping needs significant improvement. They didn’t wash the mugs and glasses, didn’t clear used plates, didn’t sweep the floor, and didn’t replace the trash bag — they only changed the towels."

"Hotel is only a month old when we stayed, it still had that formaldehyde smell if you are concerned. We got a free upgrade to supreme king. There was some markings on the bedding being a new hotel, but it was comfortable with a balcony. Remember to inform reception before 9am if you want housekeeping, which is a bit early for a beach side hotel. The major concern was noise. It does get very noisy at night with the balcony glass not being double glaszed. There is also free parking after 5pm if you are able to find a spot."

"I checked into Franklin Apartments late at night only to discover the air conditioning was broken. It was a cold night, and when I called reception for help, I was told nothing could be done. Security eventually came to check, and instead of a heater, all they could offer was a single blanket. The room itself was in poor condition: dusty surfaces, a dirty oven, and generally unkept. I followed up with an email to management, but they didn’t even have the courtesy to reply. For a place that markets itself as a serviced apartment, the service was non-existent. When guests are left cold, ignored, and given dirty rooms, it shows that management either doesn’t care or isn’t paying attention. If you’re considering staying here, think twice. The lack of basic care, cleanliness, and customer service is unacceptable. I hope this review gets the attention of management because guests deserve far better"
