"Fantastic hotel in a wonderful location. Rooms are large and comfortable with wonderful views. We had room 140 and could have happily spent the whole stay on our balcony! The bed was sublime and housekeeping was of the highest quality.The staff throughout the hotel were friendly and professional but a special mention must go to Clara the concierge and Ingrid at front of house, both of whom went out of their way to make our stay special. The pool area is a peaceful haven with an enormous pool and with gardens and a beach area, nowhere ever felt crowded. The spa is huge and we had one of the best couples massage in a long time. Breakfast options were varied and service was impeccable at all times. All in all, it was a wonderful week and though it was our first trip, it certainly won’t be our last."

"The location is excellent, right next to a bustling street, making it convenient to go anywhere. The refrigerator is larger than many other hotels, and the cooling temperature is excellent, which is commendable. Although it looks like an old building, the interior has likely been renovated, and the results are good; it has everything you need. Older buildings often have poor sound insulation, resulting in noise from neighbors closing their doors or from the hallway. There are also performances by shops along the street on weekends—issues the hotel can't always resolve. However, for this price, all these problems are perfectly acceptable. The Wi-Fi signal is weak, and the shower water temperature is a bit difficult to control; these are things the hotel could improve. As for the comments mentioning that the rooftop spa, pool, and bar charge extra, I think that's perfectly normal and expected. Expecting these fees to be included at this price is unreasonable and greedy. As consumers, we should prioritize value for money, not always expecting more than we pay. Hotels need to make a profit to survive."

But, this time, the circumstances so developed that it was necessary to book a small room in this hotel, and also, in addition, the windows went out on the street with a busy movement. The room was just excellent - light and comfortable ! That everything was thought out in the interior that the tightness was not felt at all! The perfect purity, the comfortable bed, the spacious sauna. Noise from the street, at the closed window is not heard. The location of the hotel is good."

"This hotel has a fantastic view of the sea and mountains. It's about 25 minutes walk into the old (nice) part of Ajaccio but quite an easy walk. One star has been deduced because on both mornings our breakfasts took AGES to be served, an hour on the first day and nearly half an hour on the second. The breakfast itself was nice (although husband said his fried eggs were cold both days). Other minor complaint is thay although the private beach is gorgeous to look at and has loi ders on it, there are rocks at the edge so it's not easy to go straight into the inviting sea. We realised there are sand shoes to borrow by the staircase down but even then, unless you are confident on your feet it's still a bit scary getting out deep enough. But minor gripes- a nice hotel and it had parking and chargers."

"The room was large and could accommodate 4 people. When I checked in on the first day, the male waiter was indifferent. We criticized him and became particularly friendly the next 2 days. The attractions introduced to us by the front desk on the second day were very unprofessional. If you are looking for good attractions, be sure to go to the visitor center in the city, which recommended the restaurant to see the sunset (les Sanguinaires) and several museums that are free on Sundays!"

"If you are going to spend much time alongside the swimming pool, beach or check around city. Their standard room with terrace is the best value for money. If you travel alone without car rent. #5 bus is very convenient connect between hotel and center only cost€3. The bus station is just in front of the entrance of the hotel. My overall experience here is great. Staff are friendly and willing to help. Only 1-2 of them seems not very happy working here."

"An authentic, properly made French soupe de poisson has to be one of my culinary winter favourites. For some reason it's hard to find the 'right' version that offers the traditional rich flavour, even in France. To my surprise, the restaurant at the hotel served one of the most delicious soupes I've ever had. Sadly, not the same good luck in the other restaurants on the island, so more than once decided to keep the dinner light to enjoy a late soupe treat upon returning to the hotel. And adding to this rare find are the wonderful views, facilities and the efficient service you get at the hotel, which is a great choice for that corner of the island."

"NOTE: WE STAYED IN HOTEL KALLISTE, WHIC I BELIEVE IS DIFFERENT THAN RESIDENCE KALLISTE, BUT THIS IS WHERE REVIEW REQUEST LINK BROUGHT ME - Very comfortable bed, small room but adequate and not unusual for European hotels, good bathroom, shower and towels. Very conveniently located, parking garage a plus. Very good breakfast each morning, many options including local chestnut cakes and honey. Bad smell at hotel entry near elevator should be eliminated. Leaving the door open as they do in the morning reduces smel, but does not eliminate the cause of the problem since it returns by the evening, when the door is closed."
