"We stayed here on our last night in Corsica. Check-in and parking were a breeze and Cecilia made every effort to help us and show us around. The hotel is like going back in time, not dated, just seems like an old Hollywood or South of France hotel back in the 1950’s or 1960’s. The decor in the lobby was beautiful, the corner bar was quaint with a great assortment of liquors, beers, and wines, and the restaurant/swimming pool area were right on the sea with beautiful views of Ajaccio and the gulf. There is plenty of seating by the pool. Staff were attentive on getting drinks for us, if needed. The swimming pool was saltwater straight from the gulf and warmed to a comfortable temperature. The jacuzzi was warm. We had a small corner hotel room that was small but comfortable. The room was nice but may be due for a makeover soon. The bed was very comfortable and the A/C worked great. The bathroom was completely updated. The only two problems we could find were the bathtub had poor drainage and there was some hair on the floor from previous guests. Normally the hair on the floor would be an automatic one star deduction, but the rest of the hotel was just so awesome that it was hard for me to deduct a point here. We didn’t have dinner here, we opted to walk to the old town, a 25 minute walk away. We did have the breakfast for 29 Euro, and it was fabulous. The breads, cheeses, meats, homemade yoghurt, omelettes, fruits were all fantastic and we didn’t have to eat another meal until dinner. Checkout was at 12 pm, wished we could have stayed longer before we departed to the airport. Overall a wonderful stay."

"My God!!! Words can't describe this place, which isn't really a hotel at all. An old apartment building converted into a so-called hotel. A scandal at €168 a night. Straight out of a horror movie. We left at dawn. Run away."

"An authentic, properly made French soupe de poisson has to be one of my culinary winter favourites. For some reason it's hard to find the 'right' version that offers the traditional rich flavour, even in France. To my surprise, the restaurant at the hotel served one of the most delicious soupes I've ever had. Sadly, not the same good luck in the other restaurants on the island, so more than once decided to keep the dinner light to enjoy a late soupe treat upon returning to the hotel. And adding to this rare find are the wonderful views, facilities and the efficient service you get at the hotel, which is a great choice for that corner of the island."

"Room facilities are very new, my room 23 is the best room in the hotel view. Due to the weather, the long-distance bus did not drive, we were forced to stay in Ajaccio for 3 days, thank you very much for the warm care of the hotel staff. Breakfast 9.5€, very good."

"This hotel is reasonably priced, the room is small but full of internal organs, the balcony is equipped with cool hangers, there is a kitchenette with coffee machine and coffee. 10 minutes of life circle, there is a supermarket, there is a bus (but be sure to pay attention to the bus schedule) life is very convenient."

"NOTE: WE STAYED IN HOTEL KALLISTE, WHIC I BELIEVE IS DIFFERENT THAN RESIDENCE KALLISTE, BUT THIS IS WHERE REVIEW REQUEST LINK BROUGHT ME - Very comfortable bed, small room but adequate and not unusual for European hotels, good bathroom, shower and towels. Very conveniently located, parking garage a plus. Very good breakfast each morning, many options including local chestnut cakes and honey. Bad smell at hotel entry near elevator should be eliminated. Leaving the door open as they do in the morning reduces smel, but does not eliminate the cause of the problem since it returns by the evening, when the door is closed."
