"Highly recommend this place for couples! The room was super spacious, making our stay incredibly comfortable. The hot springs on the hillside were surrounded by lush greenery, with individual pools tucked away in the woods, offering privacy and romance. After a soak, we were treated to complimentary fruit and herbal tea, which was a lovely and thoughtful touch. The breakfast was delicious, and we even received a fruit platter upon arrival. The location is also very convenient, just a 10-minute walk to Anshun Ancient Town. Shopping during the day and hot springs at night – a perfect getaway for two!"

Breakfast is quite good, and my kids loved the play area on the second floor; they both had a great time. "First off, the service was truly excellent. The young lady at the front desk (didn't catch her name tag, my eyesight isn't great) on duty on the 2nd was particularly helpful. We booked a room with only double breakfast for our child, and she immediately sorted it out when we asked, even offering a small gift. Secondly, the hotel's location is superb, very close to the ancient city and the food street. However, being near the food street does cause traffic congestion, and with the local government's somewhat outdated traffic management and general civic awareness, honking late at night is a common occurrence. If you're a light sleeper, you might want to ask the front desk for earplugs. As for breakfast, those accustomed to the standards of hotels in developed southern regions might find it unappetizing. Be careful of the height difference between the bathroom and the entrance, as it's easy to trip. Overall, the hotel is quite good. Parking is free for hotel guests, but because of the excellent location, finding a spot can be a hassle, although the parking attendants are very responsible."

"1. The room faced the street, but the window was broken and couldn't be closed properly, making it very noisy when cars passed by at night. The earplugs provided by the hotel were unusable. 2. The air conditioner was blowing directly on the bed and was loud and noisy; the air conditioning unit was old. 3. The water flow was extremely weak. 4. The showerhead connection was broken; it sputtered and the water flow was weak. Because the air conditioner was blowing directly on the bed, we requested a room change. The only option offered was another room with the exact same layout, and they emphasized that we should decide quickly not to make the room dirty, otherwise we would have to pay for cleaning. We agreed to the room change, but I felt it wasn't good to be offered an identical room. The room rate was over 400 yuan, but the facilities didn't seem like those of a newly opened hotel as advertised. I think improvements could be made."

We found a sour soup fish hotpot restaurant close by that offered great value and delicious food. The hotel lobby is spacious, and the rooms are large, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast buffet has a wide variety of options. Overall, it offers good value for money!"

My kids absolutely loved the sour soup beef we had at the hotel. There's also a small playground at the hotel that's perfect for children. The hotel itself has a very stylish design. It's probably one of the best hotels near Huangguoshu Waterfall."

"The hotel service was excellent, no doubt about it. The staff helped with our luggage and provided shuttle service from the attractions – very satisfactory. However, the cleanliness was terrible. There seemed to be no maintenance, or the cleaning staff wasn't thorough enough. There was a lot of hair behind the exam area. We booked a family suite for 900 yuan, which didn't seem worth it, mainly because of the poor hygiene. The toilet door was even installed backwards; when we opened it, we bumped into the toilet. I sincerely hope the owner can improve management and pay attention to details to build a good reputation."

The room is cozy. The stone-style design blends in with nature. The bedding is comfortable and the details are perfect! The terrace or floor-to-ceiling windows overlook the greenery, and you can’t stop taking photos. From check-in instructions to local travel recommendations, everything is very thoughtful. They also prepare welcome snacks or coffee, making you feel like a friend! If you’re tired of the fast-paced life, coming here to breathe in some fresh air, relax, and unwind is perfect. I’ll definitely come again!"

"The room was spacious and beautiful, with a fantastic, open outdoor view that was very comfortable – my kids absolutely loved it. The surrounding environment was quiet and pleasant; you could easily spend an entire afternoon just sitting by the window. The owner even specially ordered two milk teas for us and had them delivered to our room. The next morning, when we woke up, she thoughtfully prepared noodles, eggs, and brought us milk. She's truly attentive and takes wonderful, considerate care of her guests."

"Seriously, this is the first time I've ever found an unidentified yellow liquid on the bedside table, and a condom bag on the floor that hadn't been cleaned up. It was already past midnight, and I was exhausted when I discovered this. When I went to the front desk to change rooms, they didn't give me a reasonable explanation. I ended up moving my things to another room that night, and the new room felt very damp as soon as I entered. It wasn't until the next day that someone came to say that the room we stayed in before us had been booked for short-term stays and had been left very dirty. They couldn't even clean such an obvious place as the bedside table, leaving yellow liquid behind, and the condom bag on the floor was nowhere to be seen. They even said the housekeeping staff worked very hard and asked us not to leave a bad review. I wasn't planning on leaving a bad review, but on the day of our departure, the front desk insisted we leave a good one. I told them it wasn't convenient because I needed to take a taxi home, but they wasted my time, making us miss our taxi. They even said that if we left a good review, we'd get a 10% discount and a breakfast voucher next time. If their service was good and the room was clean, why wouldn't I leave a good review? They even tried to morally blackmail us by saying the housekeeping staff worked hard. Do we expect to stay in a dirty room after paying money? Isn't our money hard-earned money? In short, the room was unsanitary; the staff handling the issue used moral blackmail; the room was damp; the soundproofing was poor; and they pressured me to give a good review. I do not recommend it!!! Brothers and sisters who are considering staying here, be careful! Your rooms may also have some unidentified yellow liquid that hasn't been properly cleaned."

"Our family chose the Anshun Meilan Hot Spring Hotel for our road trip to Anshun. The hotel surroundings are lovely, with lush greenery everywhere, and a hot spring pool right outside the front desk for guests to enjoy. Parking is super convenient and free of charge. Although the room decor is a few years old, it still feels high-end and elegant. Breakfast was also very impressive, with many guests dining. The only downside was the lack of teacups in the room. As a Ctrip Diamond member who has stayed in numerous major hotels, this is the first time I've encountered a hotel that doesn't provide teacups. I hope they can rectify this in the future and offer teacups to guests. However, this minor issue doesn't overshadow the overall experience; I still give the Anshun Meilan Hot Spring Hotel a big thumbs up and a 10/10 rating."
