"This hotel is not far from Huangguoshu Scenic Area. The overall facilities are well-maintained, and the service attitude is good. The dedicated concierge was responsive. The breakfast was simple but filling. However, the shuttle service was a bit lacking. Since the hotel usually only has one vehicle for round trips between the hotel, the scenic area, and station transfers, the shuttle duties are quite heavy. Therefore, it's even more crucial to arrange the transfer order logically, especially for station drop-offs. On the morning of my second day, I had a reservation for Shuilian Cave from 8 am to 10 am, so I pre-booked the shuttle to the scenic area. But when I went down to get in the car, the front desk told me there were guests who needed to be dropped off at the station, and asked me to wait a moment, which I agreed to. On the morning of the third day, I had to catch a 10 am bus to Xijiang, so I specifically booked the shuttle for 8:20 am the night before. The concierge also confirmed my reservation. At 8:10 am on the third day, I contacted the front desk, and they replied that the driver was currently dropping off guests and would call me when he returned. At 8:15 am, we went downstairs early. The front desk then told me that there was a family ahead of me who hadn't booked but wanted to go to the scenic area, and because they were waiting earlier than me, I would have to wait. I informed them that I had booked the 8:20 am shuttle last night. The front desk acknowledged this but said they couldn't turn away guests who showed up. At this point, the problem was already evident. The hotel's website clearly states that shuttle service requires a two-hour advance reservation. Given this, shouldn't booked reservations be prioritized? The front desk then said that our two families could fit in one car and asked if we could go together, which I agreed to. However, because we were going in different directions, the other family clearly had no intention of letting us ride with them. The driver actually returned past 8:40 am. As soon as the car arrived, that family immediately rushed in and took the front seats. We had luggage, and the elderly person had difficulty walking, so it was impossible for us. The driver knew we were in a hurry to get to the station and tried to negotiate with them to let him drop us off first, but they refused to get out. At this point, the manager came out. After understanding the situation, he found another driver who finally took us to the station. He dropped us off at the Huangguoshu Tourist Center, and we arrived at the station around 9:50 am. We rushed over anxiously, only to be told we needed to go to another station to catch the bus. All this rushing left the elderly person exhausted. I had originally planned to arrive almost two hours early precisely because the elderly person had difficulty walking and I needed to factor in luggage and security checks, but I almost missed my bus due to the shuttle issue. I have two suggestions: 1. Since your website clearly states that shuttle service requires a two-hour advance reservation, this rule must be followed. You can prioritize booked guests and then have unbooked guests wait in line for the next available shuttle. 2. The front desk should allocate reservation times reasonably based on the round-trip duration of the vehicle, instead of telling guests the car is still en route when their reservation time arrives."

"Next door there's a market, and the chickens start crowing at 6 AM, going on until past 10 AM. When I got to the hotel at night, I went straight to bed. I had two pillows stacked, and when I picked up the top one the next morning, the one underneath had bloodstains on it. (See photos) There's no trash can near the sink, which is inconvenient. The area around the washbasin wasn't cleaned and was very dirty. (See pictures) The front desk staff drove off and wouldn't let me register my license plate, and the barrier lift was also very slow."

"I originally booked this hotel because of the reviews praising its soundproofing. I even canceled my previous reservation to stay here. The hotel is conveniently located right on the street, easy to find, unlike some places tucked away in obscure corners. It seems to share a parking lot with a few neighboring hotels, and the overall impression is very professional. Upon entering, the facilities were indeed a cut above your average budget hotel, and the service was a pleasant surprise. The two young ladies at the front desk were exceptionally responsible and friendly. When we returned from dinner in the evening, they even proactively asked about our stay, showing a genuine dedication to service. They even sent a robot with mosquito balm after learning I had been bitten. The security guard at the entrance was also excellent and very responsible. However, we encountered a very frustrating situation at night: the room 8301 (diagonally opposite 07) on the same floor had their door wide open in the middle of the night, smoking and playing mahjong. We politely asked them to close their door and lower their voices, but the noise continued to disrupt our rest. We had no choice but to contact the front desk to request a room change. Thankfully, the front desk responded quickly and immediately moved us to a different floor, resolving our accommodation issue for the night. I'd also like to offer a suggestion to the hotel: it's not advisable to have mahjong entertainment rooms on the same floor as regular guest rooms. A group of people playing mahjong past 1 AM inherently carries risks, and with authorities nationwide cracking down on issues related to gambling and drugs, I hope hotel management will prioritize stricter controls in this area. Additionally, sending two young female front desk staff to resolve disputes in guest rooms full of men late at night poses a personal safety risk. I hope the hotel can optimize its management to avoid such problems in the future."

"The service is quite lacking. It is obvious that she has not received professional training. For example, when my wife was going to the toilet, the waiter suddenly came in to deliver bath towels. However, generally speaking, such bath towels are delivered at the door. If you often go to International Five Star This kind of thing is impossible to happen. Although the hotel uses a large number of seemingly high-end products, such as L'Occitane bath kits and Dyson hair dryers, in actual use, its hygiene and service maintenance are very average, and the hotel's road to advancement is very poorly maintained. If you drive a big car, avoid it as much as possible. Overall, it's very average and I'm totally sorry for the price."

However, the overall experience of food, accommodation, and transportation during a trip is paramount. Choosing the Banyan Tree Anshun was a terrible mistake! I subjectively thought Banyan Tree was part of the Hyatt group, like Park Hyatt😂, but the moment I stepped into the hotel lobby, I realized how mistaken I was😂. The lobby was vast and empty, the greeter's smile was stiff, and the front desk staff were unprofessionally wooden in their speech. The overly aggressive wood-paneled decor and Chinese-style furniture made everything feel cheap and haphazard. Seeing my family's disappointed faces, I could only manage an awkward laugh, after all, a 3-night stay at 15,000 RMB is non-refundable😂. The hotel grounds were extensive, but the details were a mess. Untended branches and fallen leaves made it look desolate. The room was large, but the sleep quality was non-existent. The cheap mattress made you feel every single spring😂, and every time I turned over, my wife would wake up😂. I woke up with an aching back every morning. Even more comically, the cleaning lady would come at 8:50 AM, shouting to wake you up and clean the room! Her loud voice through the door made it sound like she was serenading us with folk songs early in the morning😂. During breakfast, I could only see about 15 people dining, yet guests constantly had to call out, 'Waiter, the coffee machine is out of water and milk! And the juice is gone too!' The openly displayed cutlery on the tables and food scraps under them made me question the hygiene of the dining experience. What truly surprised me was the hotel's waterfall afternoon tea, which wasn't located within the hotel but required a car ride to a so-called 'teahouse' in the scenic area. The teahouse's balcony directly overlooked the waterfall, and we were served a pot of strong tea, a pot of white tea, plus 12 casually made small pastries😂😂😂. My daughter said they were the worst macarons she had ever tasted! No coffee was available, as it was strictly a Chinese-style experience! You could only drink tea here! I forgot to mention, the hotel lobby also only offers tea, nothing else! Perhaps Guizhou only produces tea and nothing else, like coffee! We simply couldn't appreciate the tea culture. I took one sip of tea, and my daughter took 2-3 bites of the pastries. Then came the bill, which perhaps my poverty limits my imagination! 1550 RMB! After signing, I immediately checked the average salary in Guizhou on Xiaohongshu (a social media platform)😂. At the end of our trip, on the way to the airport, the driver told us that Guizhou's tourism industry started relatively late and needs time to adapt. I agree with him; any endeavor needs time to be refined. Here's wishing Guizhou's tourism industry all the best!"

The soundproofing in the rooms is excellent, so we could get good rest after a long day of exploring. The front desk staff even kindly recommended some delicious local snack shops, which was a lovely touch. Our entire stay was pleasant and comfortable. Highly recommend to anyone visiting Anshun!"
