"The house is about 2-3 minutes' drive from the center of Apollo Bay town, and it is not far to walk there. The environment is very quiet. There are three rooms on the first floor of the house as a homestay. The landlord's family lives on the second floor. The landlord is very nice👍 and takes the initiative to introduce restaurants in the town and nearby attractions. The public living room and dining room are relatively large and tastefully decorated. The kitchen prepares coffee, milk, bread, cereal, fruit and other foods for guests to eat for breakfast. The bedroom has a bathroom, with a cold and warm air conditioner, an electric blanket, and a warm light in the bathroom. It is comfortable and warm to stay👍"

"It's right in the town, and you can walk to the beach in 10 minutes. This town has a beautiful highest point, Scenic Mountain, which is very close by car. It's great to watch the sunrise and fly a drone!"

"The room was well arranged, it was a family room, it was a bit big, but overall it was good. There are also shortcomings, the hot water faucet is old and fallen, the air conditioner is old and the cooling effect is not good, the bedding is a bit dirty, and the quilt is not covered properly."

Points South by the Sea

"Just three cottages, we had number 1, tucked away just above the Great Ocean Road just a few kilometres East of Apollo Bay. Easy to find. Superbly equipped cottage with covered verandah. The internal window seat is an ideal spot to lie back and watch the waves and the world go by. Be prepared for the steep start to the driveway straight off the Great Ocean Road. It’s not a problem but first time when you’re not sure what to expect it can catch you out. The cottages are really well appointed with all you require. No oven but a gas barbecue on the verandah and microwave in the kitchen. Take a walk further up the drive at dusk to hopefully see koalas in the trees. We went both nights we stayed and saw one each time. Magical experience."

"This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in for 1,280 yuan. It's called a hotel and it has 6 rooms in total. The lonely tree is located on the hillside of a relatively clean town and it takes 2.3 kilometers to walk down. This hotel does not have any service staff who will send emails when checking in, but there was no email information when I checked in, so I was very passive and contacted Ctrip immediately. I received an email from someone I didn't know who was staying with me that day. Others staying at the same price faced the sea and had a good view, but I faced the slope. Why was there such a big difference? The room is much smaller than Ctrip's standard area, about 12-13 square meters, which is very untrue. This time, Ctrip exaggerated the size of Australian tourist hotels. I think Ctrip should reflect on it. I am not the only one who has such feedback. The room was in extremely poor hygiene, with cobwebs and dust everywhere. There are no waiters in the hotel, and a restaurant should be considered the largest event venue. I advise friends who are going to Australia's Great Ocean Road not to stay at this hotel in a small town. There are many motels in the small town that are much better than this one."
