"I stayed at this hotel because there was a plan that you can upgrade if you post on SNS. It seems to have been renovated, so it may be a limited-time service. The exterior of the hotel looks like an old hotel, which makes me a little uneasy, but when I went inside, it was probably due to the renovation, and my worries were unfounded. There was a lounge with a view of the quaint Japanese garden, and you walked through the Japanese garden to the open-air bath and the dining hall (a place with a nice atmosphere and delicious food. They prepared a separate room for my pregnant wife). I upgraded to a Japanese-Western room with a panoramic bath for free, and the view was great. Perhaps because it was a weekday, there were no small children, it was not noisy, and the signs were only in Japanese, so I did not see a single foreigner. It was a great place to spend a quiet and relaxing time. I was a little worried about the cleaning staff coming in while I was bathing in the large public bath (the tatami bath had been renovated and was very clean) (I was a man, and the cleaning staff was an older woman), but I was able to spend the rest of the time without any particular issues. I would like to stay at this hotel again (especially the top floor)."

"Apart from the remote location and average Wi-Fi, there are no disadvantages!! It was worth the two-hour bus ride. The food was great. The food was exquisite and delicious when the sun was setting. It is recommended to go there early, as dinner is at 6 or 6:30. The hot springs are both indoor and outdoor and very comfortable."

The surrounding area was nice and quiet. Located in the small town of Akizuki, there are many unique local attractions nearby. The hostess spoke some Chinese and was very helpful. Since the hotel isn't accessible by public transportation, we took a taxi from Nishitetsu to Amagi Station, which took about 20 minutes. The hotel also booked a taxi for our return trip the next day. The accommodation and two meals were very generous. My husband's birthday was the day before, and the hotel even made a special effort to celebrate it with a cake, which was very thoughtful."

"This is a hotel near Hita Onsen Village that I frequent. Be sure to add the half-board option. It features an all-you-can-drink buffet with snow crab and red crab. It is the best."

"Nearby is the Akizuki Castle, a place for cherry blossom viewing. It is within a ten-minute walk. The crowds are not as crowded as those recommended by Internet celebrities. It is less crowded but still beautiful."
