"It was a wonderful experience. The room was nice and it was a nice size and quite spacious for 2 luggages. Parking is free with lots of parking space . Knowing the hotel is remotely located, we included dinner & breakfast in our itinerary. It’s buffet style and was sumptuous and very well worth the extra paid. We booked the Kumamon themed room and loved our rooms The hot baths was also nice. It’s seperated into male and female baths. Check in and out was seamless. Overall a wonderful experience."

"The service provided here is up and beyond. I love that the whole set up gives not only space for people to mingle, also proper work space to have your alone time if you need it. A beautiful kitchen set up as well, I felt very safe and clean staying here. It was my first time using a kotatsu table too, a dream come true. I listened to some cd displayed for anyone to listen on a headphone. So much fun. The location is perfect too, super close to Aso Station, where we get to everywhere."

"Short drive from Mount Aso so was convenient after visiting the crater. The hotel is quite old with furnishing like the 1980s. The Indoor hot spring was just a small simple tub. Overall the stay was not very comfortable as the room and amenities are quite old."

"The rooms were spacious and offered fantastic mountain views. The bathtubs were large enough to stretch out in, which was great. A refrigerator was also provided. The only downside is that the reception is located near the golf course and is difficult to find. The building where you stay is quite high up in the mountains. Allow about 15 minutes for the check-in process. However, the view is excellent, offering stunning mountain scenery. There aren't many lights at night, so it's best to arrive early. There was a bench with lights on below, which created a nice atmosphere. Also, as a note of caution, most restaurants on the nearby main street were closed by 7 PM, so we bought our bento boxes from Hirai. If you're planning on having dinner, early check-in is recommended."

"The location is a bit out of the way. From JR Aso Station, you can take a bus and get off at Uchimaki Station (about 20 minutes) and then walk for five minutes to get there. The surrounding environment of the hotel is very quiet, surrounded by countryside, the interior decoration is exquisite, and the rooms are very comfortable. There is a small courtyard landscape in the middle, which is very suitable for sitting on a chair and dazing. There is a family hot spring available for use. The hotel's meals are mostly Kumamoto's local cuisine, which is very suitable to my taste. The service attitude is very good. There is only one Nepali guy who can speak English, but the service attitude is really warm and impressive. All in all highly recommended!"

"I was really looking forward to it because it had such high ratings, but dinner was underwhelming and breakfast was also a bit disappointing. The side dishes were all pretty much the same, with mostly simmered dishes. It would have been nice if they'd offered other dishes like *. The dining area had a sunken kotatsu table, but it wasn't heated and it was cold. I thought it was a good deal since it was a weekday, but the price was over 25,000 yen per person, so I would have expected a little more satisfaction for that amount of money. I really had high expectations, so I'm sorry for my harsh comments. The bath in the room was nice, but I thought the food could have been a little better..."

"A bit outdated, but kept clean where it matters and the air conditioning unit is new, beds are comfy. Has a hot bath you can use. I think it's the only bath on the property but it's not crowded. Harder to get to if you don't have a car. Owner was able to pick me up from uchinomaki station by calling them. But if you can't make phone calls, it would be a 25 minute walk. Better to go one stop over to Aso station where there are taxi stands. Costs 1700 yen."

"What a lovely experience at a family run Japanese Inn. The setting is beautiful. Your private cottage deck backs on to a creek surrounded by trees, with floor to ceiling windows surround. The dinner and breakfast were delicious! We enjoyed our stay very much."
