"A very satisfying trip to Awaji Island was made even better by our hotel. Everything was arranged in the best way. We changed buses from Kyoto and confirmed the pick-up station through the Ctrip platform. When we arrived, it was still early, so we took the free shuttle bus to go shopping (with luggage back to the hotel). We used the coupons to buy lunch and ice cream at Hello Kitty. When checking in, the male waiters all kneel down to serve, and confirm the information of dinner and going out the next day. The room we stayed in is a single-family round house like a yurt with a viewing balcony and a wooden bath. The details of the room are all local characteristics (dressing box, free mini bar/dessert, washbasin are all petrified wood). The central roof is transparent and empty, and you can also observe the stars. We enjoyed the food here for 5 days, especially the dinner was not repeated and changed in various styles. What surprised me was that the waitress could perform saxophone and flute at dinner, and there was a restaurant like a stage on the island where you could also enjoy the waiter's musical performance. The 20,000 consumption vouchers given for 5 days are enough for you to go out for free at noon. We also bought Hello Kitty exclusive gifts for the children at the Big Apple with the vouchers. This trip to Awaji Island is more memorable than the trip to Kyoto, and the people are simple and honest. Everyone is working hard to promote tourism in Awaji Island, which is worthy of praise. I will bring my children here next time."

"Highly recommended experience, but please be mindful of the weather. The dinner BBQ is outdoors, so it's not suitable if it's too cold, too hot, or raining. The air conditioning in the bob rooms is very strong, and the rooms are spacious. The dinner BBQ uses an induction cooker, which is different from what I expected (charcoal grill). Returning the cooker before 8 pm was a bit rushed. We started cooking at 6:30 pm, and by 8 pm the gas was used up, but the BBQ wasn't finished. Since we had to return the cooker, we couldn't continue. The food was very fresh, but there was no Awaji beef as I expected. As tourists, we were hoping to try Awaji beef. The toilets and showers aren't inside the bob rooms, but they're just outside the entrance. Each room is separate and very clean. However, the steps to the toilets and showers are quite high, which is inconvenient. The parking area is behind the rooms, which is convenient, but the path is full of rocks, making it difficult to move suitcases. You have to lift them up to move them."

"Don't expect this hotel... The hotel staff can't speak simple English... People will laugh behind your back before you leave the counter. The hotel is very basic in one word (old). It doesn't mean "old" in the Japanese style, it's really old to the point of being rotten. 4 We went there in March and the ventilation was very poor. We booked 3 rooms in total. Everyone would wake up from the heat in the middle of the night. Finally, we had to open the window (no door lock). When I woke up from bed, I would have backache and back pain. After soaking in the hot spring, there was no problem. It’s the same as ever. Please avoid lightning! Definitely the worst in Awaji Island! This was the worst trip to Japan dozens of times."

"It seems to be a hostel-style guesthouse converted from a former school. The rooms are all on the second floor, with restrooms and washbasins at both ends of the corridor. There's also a sauna, but it wasn't powered. The young man at the front desk was very enthusiastic and even specifically told me, "Things are expensive at the convenience store, but there's a supermarket nearby." His English is so-so, but a translation app on my phone was enough. He even specially converted the sofa into a second double bed for me, charging extra for that. The free breakfast was the smallest of the three set meals, but it tasted great. Overall, it's very good value for money, highly recommended!"
